Came here for Mother's Day only waited about 5 min and we got a table outside. We loved the covered patio and the heaters, perfect for rainy weather! Ordered an Aperol spritz, Basque sandwich and the Pat's Chicken Sandwich + side of papas and they were all worth getting again! Fantastic food & decent prices.. we will be coming back

I am going to miss this place! Now if you're reading this review and don't know who I am and/or haven't seen my previous reviews for Bodega then you might be wondering, "what is he talking about?" Let me clarify. Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. Please, if you are in the area be sure to go by and make up for my absence!

This is a nice place for lunch. It has a very nice outside patio area and get busy quickly. The best part is the fact that they are dog friendly !! We like our girl to be with us and this was a nice spot for lunch and our Maggie girl got to enjoy also. We had the grouper sandwich is tasty with a flavorful sauce. The Cuban was perfect , with Cuban bread the way it is intended. Lots of ham and turkey, cheese, and a tangy mustard with pickle. Potato salad was served as the side and it was a delicious surprise - sweet potatoes along with small red - a yummy difference. An added bonus - all pups are brought a bowl of water

Bodega Ultima located on Highland Ave Augusta, GA It's been four (4) years since my last review of this establishment. Food: We had the Pat's Chicken Sandwich and Trashcan Wrap (chicken) both with fries. Both dishes came with a house sauce that I didn't think compliment the meals nevertheless the Pat's chicken sandwich was delicious, The Trashcan wrap was good however probably wouldn't get it again. Service: Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. Ambiance: I simply love the raw brick decor and covered patio seating.

Been a while since I've been to Bodega Ultima. Their hours are usually until 2:30 on weekdays and 3pm on weekend. It's a cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely dog friendly for patio seating. Lots of good food options. I went with the chicken sandwich that was juicy and flavorful. Will plan to come back foe more brunches.

When we pulled up for breakfast on a weekend at about 9 a.m., and the parking lot was empty, that should have told us all we needed to know. The food here was horrendous. Our table had 2 chicken biscuits, scrambled eggs, grits, yogurt with "homemade" granola, bacon, and a bagel. The bagel and bacon were the only things that were good. The eggs were not only burnt, but they tasted like someone accidentally spilled the salt shaker in them, I sent them back and didn't wish for new ones. The chicken was dry and tough as a rock, and the grits were average at best. I'm not sure how on earth this place has any good ratings. Our server was wonderful.

Cool pub and restaurant. Turkey Reuben and burger were both good! Also the Trashcan sandwich was awesome!

My croissant was so good! It wasn't quite enough for a full meal, so I recommend getting a side as well. The staff were very kind and accommodating for our large group. And they have a dog that wanders around!

Came here for breakfast with my family a week or so ago! It was great. We loved our food. My favorite thing was surprisingly the coffee. I had a hazelnut latte and it was delicious!! Can't wait to go back.

On the road again and made the stop for breakfast on the go. This time around was different. The food continues to be fantastic. Today the wait staff was not good. To be honest they all had RBF (Google it), they did not want to be there. It was busy but there were more staff standing around and doing nothing then serving. If we had to rate the staff it be a 1, if that. This feedback is raw to hopefully provide management help for training. PS- what coffee/restaurant runs out of sugar? They had NO sugar at all. Purchasing may need some help, with the Masters in a few weeks one would think they want to be well stocked.

Brunch is serious business in Augusta and after one visit to The Brunch House of Augusta I…read morecompletely understand why this place stays packed. While in town for the weekend my husband and I wanted brunch somewhere unique to Augusta instead of another chain restaurant, and after scrolling Yelp and seeing all the glowing reviews we decided to give this Black owned, family operated spot a try. I noticed online that you can make a reservation for a $20 fee that gets deducted from your check. At first I was a little surprised, but after seeing how busy this place is, it makes total sense. We decided to roll the dice without a reservation anyway. When we arrived on a Saturday morning there were already several people waiting outside. There isn't really an indoor waiting area, so the hospitable hostess took my name and phone number and kindly asked us to wait outside. Later I noticed the sign explaining the process. She quoted us a 40-minute wait, but thankfully we were seated in about half that time. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy with a classic diner feel complete with counter seating and booths. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. If you have a larger party, there are a couple of outdoor tables that appear to accommodate around six people, but personally I think this spot is best enjoyed with a smaller group. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy brunch crowd. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles while I went with the Garden City breakfast bowl loaded with veggies and home fries plus a salmon croquette on the side. Every single thing tasted homemade and full of flavor. This is what Southern comfort food is supposed to taste like. My husband said the chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly, and the waffle paired with it beautifully. My breakfast bowl reminded me of the kind of breakfast my grandma used to make, comforting, flavorful, and cooked with care. Portion sizes were just right,  enough to leave satisfied without feeling miserable afterward. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Stellar customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. If I ever find myself back in Augusta, this will absolutely be one of my repeat stops.

The valet folks were friendly, everybody smiled, and for a moment I thought we might have stumbled onto one of those places where Southern hospitality still gets practiced instead of just printed on brochures. The inn itself has that old-school charm. The front porch alone looks like it has stories to tell, and most of them are probably better than the ones you'll hear at the average chain hotel breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough, though getting to it felt a little like a low-impact obstacle course. After stepping off the elevator, there were three steps to negotiate before reaching the room. No big deal. I shuffled the luggage and carried on. Then I discovered the room itself was split-level, complete with three more steps. That arrangement seemed perfectly reasonable until the 3 a.m. trip to the bathroom, when those same steps suddenly became an adventure sport. One suggestion: every room ought to have a proper nightstand and a place to charge the electronic gadgets that have become attached to modern Americans like an extra limb. We may not all travel with a typewriter anymore, but most of us carry enough electronics to launch a small satellite. Things got a little more interesting when hunger arrived. We tried to make restaurant reservations through the Resy link on the hotel's website. No luck. The restaurant wasn't listed. Fine. Technology fails. It happens. So I called the restaurant. No answer. Turns out the restaurant number appears to be the same as the front desk. I left a message and waited about 45 minutes for a callback. Never got one. Again, no big deal. DoorDash and an Indian restaurant came to the rescue. While pondering the mystery of the missing callback, I found myself staring out the window. That's when I noticed the paint splatters and streaks all over the glass. Now, I don't know who handles maintenance around there, but somebody needs to explain that painting a window and cleaning a window are two entirely different activities. And that's really the story of the Partridge Inn. Nice people. Pleasant room. Plenty of charm. But charm can only carry you so far when attention to detail keeps missing the bus. The little things matter because they add up. The unanswered phone, the broken reservation link, the paint on the windows, the awkward room layout--they're all small by themselves. Together, they're enough to make me appreciate the stay but probably not enough to make me come back for another one.
