TBonz entry into Augusta Burgers and Brew week !! Blackened Blue cheese!! Yummy!!

Great experience! Our occasional go-to establishment was a pleasure again... Kudo's to the staff, manager visiting our table and our excellent service from Raquel. Had the Seared Ahi Tuna for a starter and was perfectly seared and tasty. The Rummy Cocktail and Tropicalia IPA were on point and refreshing. They always have a good rotation on tap with different ones to try.. Angus Mushroom Swiss burger and the Ruben were amazing. I love the homemade 1000 dressing - It was creamy and so good with the sandwich. Order your fry's Tommy Style for a treat ! Tucked away in Evans always satisfies!

Awesome lunch after church. Surprisingly it wasn't as busy as I thought but I wasn't about to complain about it. It wasn't easy trying to figure out what kind of drink to have with my meal since there was so many to choose from but I settled with the Fruitland Peachtini and it was amazing along the Angus Burger with fries . Awesome combination for a wonderful Sunday I'll be sure to try a different drink next time I come here. Looking forward to it :)

Steak was supposed to be rare, first came out raw. Now it tuff to eat. Do better

Steak came out raw not rare sent it back now it's to tough to eat. Your chef needs to go back a learn how to cook a steak.

I am an avid food lover, and I photograph just about every beautiful dish placed in front of me. But Cork & Flame was different. From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was so exceptional and immersive that, for once, I simply forgot about the camera. I was too busy being present and enjoying every moment. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses who congratulated us on our anniversary. While we waited to be seated, we were presented with two beautiful flutes of champagne,- a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for what was to come. We were also presented with the most thoughtful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. Once seated, we were welcomed by an incredible team, but our waitress was truly in a class of her own. I have never encountered service quite like hers. Her knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and every detail of the evening felt intentional. The way she guided us through our selections and thoughtfully presented each course made something as simple as ordering dinner feel like part of a carefully choreographed work of art. We began with an amuse-bouche, and even the experience surrounding it was remarkable. Before enjoying it, we were presented with the most thoughtfully prepared Japanese hand wipes, delicately infused with yuzu and hydrated right before us in the most discreet and elegant fashion. It was such a small detail, but one we never knew we needed until we experienced it. It was the kind of thoughtful touch that made the entire evening feel so carefully considered. Then came the beef and onion empanadas, and they were absolutely out of this world, beautifully prepared and exploding with layers of exciting flavor. Alongside them came a beautiful board of crunchy, delicious bread paired with the lightest, fluffiest butter I have ever experienced. The butter itself was infused with a subtle smoky flavor and was unlike anything I have ever tasted. Somehow, even something as simple as bread and butter felt completely elevated and memorable. For our entrées, we were once again completely blown away. My husband had the lobster gnocchi, bursting with incredible flavors of lobster and chorizo, perfectly balanced and beautifully finished. My entrée was the chef's special by ,Chef Gaston, a breathtaking rosemary infused skirt steak served with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. It arrived beneath a beautiful dome that preserved the aromatic smoke until it was lifted tableside in front of me. It wasn't simply dinner; it was a presentation, an aroma, a moment, and an experience all at once. And then came dessert, which somehow managed to continue the perfection of the evening. My husband enjoyed an incredibly decadent yet surprisingly light dessert accompanied by an assortment of unforgettable dips, including a pineapple dip unlike anything we had ever experienced. I opted for a refreshing and beautifully light Limoncello tiramisu, and once again, every element was executed flawlessly. From the food to the presentation, the service to the smallest details, everything was truly top tier. There was such a level of care and intention behind everything we experienced that it made the entire evening feel incredibly special. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Cork & Flame doesn't simply serve a meal--it creates an experience. It feels like stepping into another world, almost like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your table. Every course tells a story, every detail has a purpose, and every member of the staff seems genuinely invested in making your experience extraordinary. I would recommend Cork & Flame a million times over--not just for the food, but for the entire experience. If you appreciate culinary artistry, exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening, this is somewhere you absolutely need to experience. And honestly, the fact that I have no pictures to show you might be the greatest compliment I can give. For once, I didn't need my camera. I just needed to be present for one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had.

Every single dish was cooked to perfection. Honestly, the pictures don't do the food justice--the chef clearly knows what they're doing. The cocktails were just as impressive--well-crafted and flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting, which makes it even better. The atmosphere is small, cozy, and super cute--perfect for a date night or a girls' night out. Customer service was top notch, and even the bathrooms were clean (which always matters!). It has been mentioned before that reservations are necessary even for a weekday. For Evans, that is unique. We were lucky that a table was available and that we had a good view of the interior and the kitchen. My husband is the chef in our house so he observed the kitchen staff while I, interested in ambiance, made note of the clientele and the wait staff. This is the conclusion I made. This venue looked like a great place for a first date, a drink in the evening with friends or dinner with someone special. I would not go there for a family birthday party and it is definitely an adult venue. The staff was obviously well trained for excellent service. The smiles were genuine. Our server's recital of the days' specials wasn't rushed and she answered my husband's questions. She was also was patient with my husband's suggestion for an already perfect dish. The tables were uncluttered by table clothes and condiment's. The noise level set off our smart watch's alarm but we had not problem conversing. Just one more thing. I almost never see restrooms mentioned. Winston's Tavern has clean, very clean, restrooms as befitting a very classy venue. Thank you for the experience. You will do well especially during the masters.

I ordered the catfish: Hot Honey Catfish | 26 lightly fried, polenta cake, collard greens, chow chow, hot honey drizzle. It came with grits, not a polenta cake, which was fine except they sat too long and had hardened on top. The collards were excellent but the "Catfish" was pure mush. Really not edible. I had to wait for my plate to come out because they ran out of the chow chow so I think my plate must have sat under the light for a while. I think they should have cooked another piece of fish rather than sending that one out. I could not/did not eat it. The chow chow overpowered the hot honey drizzle completely. The server kindly took it off the bill but I would have rather had a piece of crispy catfish. My nephew ordered the Pappardelle Frutti di Mare| 29 shrimp and crawfish tail meat, mushroom, white wine butter cream, shaved parmesean which was TOO SPICY for him to eat. When we mentioned this to the server she said the spice was normal for the dish and she would ask the chef to mention this on the menu. Didn't help us this time as the menu made no mention of any spiciness and we didn't know to ask to tone it down, which we would have asked had we known it was spicy. There was a special seasonal salad, with blueberries, peaches, and watermelons which was 10/10. We had ordered one to split but fortunately they forgot to split it so we got a whole salad each and I was thankful because it was beyond tasty and filling!! Would go back again for the salad alone!!
