    Veggie Eggs Benedict: with hashbrowns
    Mia C.

Thought I'd give this place a try. It was good, not the absolute best out there but not the worst either. They did forget the special request for turkey sausage on my veggie egg benedict, but that was ok. The waitress was awesome though, very attentive and was able to remove the extra cost on the recipe which was appreciated. One of the best gems though, is they actually still had two more cases of Siera Mist, not Stary. I was sooooo excited and ordered some. Place is cute, and an easy to find location with a good bit of parking. There are options for indoor seating or outdoor patio.

It was a chilly day outside, and the restaurant didn't offer much warmth or comfort. Inside, it felt just as cold. The waitress didn't introduce herself, but she was friendly. I ordered home fries, pork sausage, and a pancake. Unfortunately, the home fries were cold, and the pork sausage patties weren't great--tasted like something you'd get from Walmart. The pancake, however, was the highlight of the meal! Not the best breakfast place to visit.

Superb! The food is excellent! The staff warm and friendly! And the atmosphere comfortable and quirky. Theirs are the best eggs benedict in town!

Lumberjack special with corned beef hash, grits, eggs over medium with toast. I added a pancake for 99 cents. Delicious!!!

I eat here every Friday morning for breakfast with friends. The food is always spot on and the grits are always a perfect consistency. Crystal is an amazing server and keeps our glasses and mugs full. Plenty of seating, but doesn't feel crowded even when they are at full capacity. I definitely recommend as a destination restaurant for anyone wanting a delicious breakfast.

Traditional Eggs Benedict with separated sauce. They're calling the Flippin Egg and they can't get eggs right!!

Service was slow, I purposely put our coffee mugs on the edge of the table to hopefully get a refill, but ended up having to ask the host walking by for more coffee. They're all nice, but the food is subpar. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict, the sauce had separated, bad taste, inedible. Their waffles are at least their saving grace. Biscuits and gravy came out lukewarm warm. Just a blah experience all around.

    Grilled Bologna Breakfastt

I'm a country girl born and raised so of course I fell in love with this place once I found out they sold fried bologna. I wasn't disappointed with my food or service. The ladies I've had the chance to get to know are all wonderful servers. I typically go when it's less people so it's very quiet.

Finally visiting That Flippin Egg in Evans, the brunch crowd was not to heavy considering it's a holiday. The hostess was friendly, greeting with a smile . Once seated we order the orange/pineapple mimosas which we're really good. We ordered the Ruben sandwich with fried squash and grilled chicken omelette with hashed brown and biscuit. The food arrived at the table hot, smelly good and tasting even better. I believe I've found a new brunch spot. If you have never tried "That Flippin Egg" for breakfast or brunch you're missing a treat. Highly recommended!

They just opened one of these in Aiken and it always looks busy. We were in Evans today and figured we'd check it out. Hubby got the business breakfast and I got the chicken and waffles. Can best be described as cafeteria food. The chicken was 2 round breaded pieces of chicken...so not really sure what I was getting. Butter was labeled as "butterly" mixture and mostly oil so I didn't even try that. Server was very nice but food was not best quality. Now we know.

    Bloody Flippin Mary and Menu

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is cute. The waiters all dressed up for Easter. Several of us chose the skillet option, which I loved. My husband built his own biscuit and he was pleased. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were great.

Scramble 2 Eggs, Home Fries, extra crispy bacon and toast.

Then someone a minute later asked me what I was waiting on and it was indeed ready and the first person just didn't check because I saw it there the whole time in the back counter. Ordered the waffle sandwich and it had zero taste and 2 strips of bacon that were severely undercooked. My daughter got the Classic with home fries and they were soggy, and the toaste wasn't toasted at all. My wife got the creme brulee French toast and was telling me it tasted like lemon. Yep, she bit into several lemon seeds as they didn't even take care not to get them in the food. Never again.

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! One of the most touching elements is the strong veteran presence throughout the restaurant. The walls are lined with photos of soldiers, service patches, and memorabilia -- a heartfelt tribute that immediately shows how deeply they honor those who served. They're Veteran-run, too, and the Table for the Fallen Heroes is a powerful reminder of sacrifice and respect. The vibe is lively, warm, and inviting -- helped by the fact that they even feature live entertainment, which brings so much energy to the space without overwhelming conversation. The burger and fries were excellent -- high-quality beef, perfectly seasoned, and crispy, flavorful potatoes. Their craft cocktails and solid beer selection were another highlight. We visited on trivia night -- Beatles Night -- and we even won second place! The evening felt fun, community-driven, and full of personality. The location is also a win, with an arcade just a few doors down, perfect for a lighthearted outing after dinner. I loved this place enough to go twice in two weeks while visiting the area. Even from our few visits, we could tell that that's where they severely lacked. Location-wise, this place was tucked into a little stripmall-ish type area with plenty of parking. The restaurant itself was decently roomy. On all three of our visits, the food took forever to come out. Twice the servers came out to apologize for the length in time. The third time, the owner had invited and catered an elephant politician in the next room leading to the backup of food for the PAYING CUSTOMERS in his own restaurant. The owner seemed super giddy and privileged to have that politician in his restaurant even at the expense of his (again for the folks in the back) PAYING CUSTOMERS. The restaurant was rather full too so we all had to wait with our growling stomachs while the owner was fawning at the "celebrity" next door. Truly warped priorities as a business owner. So when they decided to close their doors after (supposedly) sinking every dime that they had into the restaurant, they also stiffed their employees who they asked to work until the very last day while they still owed them all back pay. True leaders would go down with the ship. Instead, these folks took a vacation to see their child graduate out of state while the employees were asked to volunteer their time to keep their restaurant open. The most ironic thing about it all is that they most likely voted in the very person who sunk the economy so bad that they could no longer stay afloat. But of course I'm sure they're still team, "Let's go Brandon." Sad.
