It was pretty much as expected. It's decorated inside and out like an old freestyle diner. The food was probably delicious but I don't think I like hollandaise sauce. Personal preference doesn't lower stars. The service was good except ironically at the moment I ran out of coffee. However another waitress friendily summoned mine for said coffee. There's something keeping me from giving a full 5, perhaps some disrepair in part of the building. It was also a bit of a shock that a single slice of cheese costs over a dollar ($1.34 according to a review of the menu). It's so great to know that they built another That Flippin Egg in the area especially if you don't want to go through the hussle and bussle in Evans GA. So far, I haven't had any questions or concerns from this location. It sure didn't take long to get a seat when I arrived inside, and the young lady was very polite and professional and took my order very quickly. The Blueberry pancakes with eggs, grits, and turkey sausage were hot and delicious. The ambiance was very quiet and pleasant especially since there was hardly anyone at the restaurant. That Flippin Egg on Mike Padgett Hwy. Food: My wife and I had a great brunch, the food was cooked nicely and tasted really good. The omelet was stuffed full of the ingredients i had order, hash brown cook to perfection and my biscuit was buttery and flaky. The BLT was packed with bacon, yes bacon with fresh lettuce and tomato. Service: The service was great, we were greeted at the door with a smile then seated. Our server was patient, friendly and accommodating. Ambiance: I really like the decor of this restaurant, it give off a 50's vibe. The booth seat are reminiscent of my mother plastics covered furniture from back in the day. My husband and I made a visit to That Fliggin' Egg for the first time on Friday 2/6/26. We were totally impressed with the hospitality. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. The food was delicious and it was served rapidly and with a big smile. The restaurant is nice and clean, and I would recommend this place to anyone that has been thinking of stopping in, but hasn't. Family has been wanting to find a good breakfast/brunch place near us and I think the search is over. We arrived around 9am on a Saturday, the restaurant was busy but we were able to easily find a booth. The hostess was quick to bring menus and take our drink order and our server Nia arrived within minutes to deliver the drinks and get our order. Our order included waffles, a breakfast sandwich plate, and a breakfast skillet. Our food arrived quickly and everything was hot. As she was putting our plates down Nia noticed that my hash brown side was made incorrectly (missing the cheese I added). She immediately returned my plate to the kitchen to have it correctly made and then brought me back the rest of my food so I could enjoy it while it was still fresh. After only minutes she returned my hash browns covered in beautiful hot melted cheese. All of our other food came out perfect and everything tasted fantastic. Nia was also attentive throughout our meal, checking in on us and refilling our drinks. The diner itself is has a cool retro vibe but the upkeep could be better. Everything important (tables,booth surfaces, dinnerware, condiments) was clean and comfortable but the decorative pieces like pictures and displays could all use a good cleaning and the exterior windows also were in need of cleaning. This is a relatively new breakfast spot in Augusta open from 6am-2pm. It has an old school diner look and feel complete with juke boxes on the booth tables. The menu is pretty standard for a breakfast spot with the exception of the corned beef hash which you can't get at most chain breakfast eateries. Staff was friendly, and the food came out pretty fast. The meal was prepared as requested and was very tasty. If your in the Augusta area you should give this spot a try. read more

Usually get an omelet whenever I go to Augusta. On my last visit, I ordered 2 omelets and the Farmer's Breakfast for pick up. Both omelets were ok. The Farmers Breakfast had a thick slice of ham, sausage patties and hash browns (terribly undercooked). No eggs. Called and reported no eggs. Explained that I was not driving back to get eggs, so was told that manager would issue credit. That was well over a week ago, still no credit. The food is just okay, so I won't bother to go back. It was really good the first time I went but now just okay. Will find another place to get an omelet. read more

I am writing this in total disbelief..big big foodie here..coworker and I decided to try the flipping egg.worst mistake ever.First off we witnessed one the cashiers sweeping and smoking in front of the building ..picking trash up with her hand, blowing cigarette smoke as we enter. Ughh.. she came in jumped in the register..did not wash her hands..secondly our waitress was rushing my coworker with her order..after we ordered..we waited almost an hour before she brought out the wrong orders..then after she realized the orders did not belong to us..she picked it up off the table did a spin around the kitchen and took it to a table behind us..yall we had poked the runny eggs and all in the plates..as we watch others receiving their breakfast.. she hollers out "its coming u guys your breakfast fell on the floor, but its coming". The worst experience Ive had a any restaurant . We waited 2 hours to get our food . When they brung the food out it was cold and they made the order wrong . H O R R I B L E, gross, and vile. I ordered a hamburger and they served me a frozen patty, it was gray. Why even have a diner if you can't make your own pressed hamburger patties? There's a Waffle House that you can see from the parking lot of Flippin Egg, go there instead.
