Farmhaus Burger in downtown Augusta delivered one of those quietly satisfying Saturday night…read moreexperiences where the neighborhood feels packed to the edges but the restaurant itself gives you room to breathe. Parking was its usual Broad Street challenge, yet once inside there was plenty of space and an easygoing rhythm to the dining room. The only real hiccup was the slightly counterintuitive flow of things, since you order first and then find a seat, and I wasn't the only one who walked in and paused awkwardly until someone pointed out the process. I've said for a while that you should stick to what a place is named for, because ordering chicken wings at a pizza shop or a barbecue joint has burned me more than once, but tonight I ignored that rule and it turned out to be the right call. Mrs. K took down my side of fries with enthusiasm while I focused on the wings, meaty and generously sauced, the kind you finish without a second thought and then sit back with a local beer feeling like you made exactly the right choice. Every single one was worth it, no regrets at all, a small delight tucked inside a busy Augusta evening. I did see two of those massively stacked burgers get delivered to another table and while I was a little jealous, I know that having it without the bun wouldn't have honored it the way it should be. Maybe when I'm not on keto. [Review 228 of 2026 - 928 in Georgia - 25417 overall]

They were supposed to be cooked separately and gluten free. The farmhouse ambiance was really special and home-like. I love the rustic corrugated metal used as bathroom stall and galvanized pipe toilet paper holders.

I'm sorry to write that I had a very disappointing experience at Farmhaus Burger today…read more The plan was to visit Farmhaus Burger with a friend for burgers and a few beers on a non-descript Tuesday afternoon. Before visiting I checked the website to see when Happy Hour was and it was clearly advertised as being from 3-6PM (the pic should be attach as part of my review). Because you know, as a customer you want to know what the policies are and plan accordingly. So we plan to land there around the 3:30ish time frame. So, sure enough we end up there right around 3:30PM. We get in line and get our burgers ordered, I ask about Happy Hour and I'm told that it starts at 4PM. OK, that's odd, b/c the website clearly said differently. But no big deal. Because I'll get seated, pull up the website, show them what is clearly being advertised and they will honor it, right? Wrong. Allow me to elaborate. I get seated at the bar and I talk to the bartender (the other guy who told me about Happy Hour was working the cashier so maybe he wasn't in the loop). I bring up the website and show him that Happy Hour is clearly advertised as being from 3-6PM (on the front page no less). I am told that this is an "old picture" but offers to talk to a manager. He comes back and tells me they are "in the process of changing". I'm not really sure what that means, but OK. So, I make a suggestion. The current time was 3:39PM and I asked if he could serve me a beer, and then ring it in at 4:00PM. That way, they get to honor what was advertised and drew me into restaurant, I get my beer, and they have time to change whatever needs changing. It's a win-win situation. This was also a no go. At this point I'm legitimately baffled at their poor customer service. I don't make a scene. I don't ask to speak to the manager. We simply eat our food and go. Heck, I was treated better at Target when I was returning a printer earlier in the day. Long story short, I will not be returning and they will not be getting any more of my money. I'm not sure what else is incorrect on their website. But good luck if you decide to visit.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!
