11/20/2018: after 5 days and +5 hours of my time, DirecTV has the nerve to send me a bill for service that is not turned on. Just look at the time stamp on my photos attached. Here's what happened: 11/15 -called at 12am upon disconnection and was transferred then hung up on after 30 minutes 11/16 -same as above. Called back and was given a fax number. Dialed back I and was hung up on again when transferred 5th Call was told the reconnect was going to be easy. Was transferred and hung up on 6th call on for another 30 minutes and I had to hang up to take care of something else 7th Call reinstatement order number 4388262925A was given to me. I was told service would be on in 3 hours. It wasn't 8th Call was told order was processed again and service would be on by 1am. It wasn't 9th call 11/17 11am Saturday was told service was coming back on. Twice someone called back from billing to find out if this was fixed. It wasn't. I was transferred and was hung up on. Gave it another 3 hours and not on so I called back 10th call Saturday 11/17 some customer service guy had the idea I would buy web service for $20. I said are you kidding me right now? The website is included with my TV service so turn that on NOW. I was transferred 3 times and after 50 minutes on hold was told the department I needed has gone home 20 minutes ago 11th call 11/17 spoke to RC1 technician who told me once again it would be turned on and reinstatement order was complete. 11/18 service tried 3 times box restarted 3 times during the day. I work and couldn't find time to get on the phone tonight. MY SERVICE IS STILL NOT ON!!!!! ********************************************* ZERO STARS. These idiots canceled my service one month early! I called to place an order because I knew I would be busy next month. I said over and over again DECEMBER 15th! When did they disconnect? NOVEMBER 15th! I've been passed around on the phone to 2 departments. Tech support cannot help me, of course they can't! DO NOT BUY THIS

I would give it zero stars if I could. I pay way too much money every month for this cable when 95% of the time i'm getting a message that there's "trouble connecting". I rarely get to even watch tv because my cable is never working.

I just got an email today from Spectrum that my email access was ending a month later after cancelling my internet service after 12 years. I never had a Spectrum email account! Just internet for over 12 years that was a consistent with a 3MB feed when I started with Time Warner at $14.99 for life. Charter takes over and my bill slowly rose to over $41 with no change in service speed or quality. The CSR's were taught to use the excuse that you're getting 100MB now. Bullsh-t. Outside of the few months on the ACP post-covid 19; all my bill did was increase. At an average of $30 a month for 1 years, I paid Spectrum over $4300 to have an email connection for this Hotmail account and internet access. I often felt that I was being held hostage and even when I called to disconnect, a pushy CSR kept me on the phone for a half hour trying to convince me to change my mind with bait-and-switch price offers. My SSI is $1300 monthly and I live in a 55+ mobile home community with rent control. I get my 1080p TV via an OTA antenna and my cell service from a $100 2024 Motorola cell phone from Consumer Cellular for $30 a month. Fortunately, my neighbor has a wireless T-Mobile connection the he lets me use for free. So, until he dies, I hope to never have to hear from, use or ever have to rely on Spectrum for anything ever again.

I thought I had requested insurance coverage but I came to find out that I didn't actually get insurance at all so it was on me to figure it out. Well this clown was of no help whatsoever. I left the store in desert hot springs in tears after asking him if he could bring a chair over as I was in excruciating pain and couldn't stand any longer. He said 'go take a seat over there' adding that he told me he wasn't 'allowed' to pull over one of the customer chairs to his desk so I could see and understand what he was doing with my phone. Next day I returned as I wasnt able to make it to the store in palm springs by 8pm. Well I happened to get a new guy, 2 months of training who saw me struggling to remain standing at his desk while he worked to change my number back to my old phone. He offered me a chair and I told him I didnt want him getting into any trouble because I had been told of the store policy about moving the chairs and that there were no chairs for the customers to sit by their desks. He just looked at me and brought me a chair to which I was shocked! Then the rude guy i had, 'bernardo' actually went and got a chair for the elderly lady he had been assisting with a sale. I am 65 years old and I had been discriminated against by this rude man who I found out had been there long before the newer guy that actually helped me sit by his desk to see what was wrong with my phone. Then the 'new guy' asks me if I had charged my phone at all. Well the first rude guy told me not to bother with that or putting it in rice or any of it, he said my 2000.00 phone, now with no insurance, was trashed!! Well the 'new nice guy' told me different then he touched something that brought my 'trash' phone back to life!!! I was shocked again!! How could this be? Spectrum actually employs such horrid people like this bernardo character and allow him to be the face of service for their company? I was beside myself with anger. The first rude guy brenardo saw me in pain with a cane and in no way offered me any assistance in the store. While the spry old lady had no such visible problems in fact she looked like she was out to play tennis. I've had some serioius blows to my health recently that have left me in this condition. Im not accustomed to feeling such serious pain so I rarely leave the house but thats not me so I try to do things like I normally would but I am met with imbeciles like this bernardo that dont deserve that job and he a huge detriment to their business image if they care at all about that. But I'm guessing if any one reads this that does care about the companys name they might call me before I report it all to the ADA!! They take these things a bit more serious than bernardo ever did! He said I couldnt reach the store manager 'Shahin' (or not sure of the spelling) but I couldnt reach him by phone and surprise surprise it was his day off. So I would have to humiliate myself and go back into that horrid store! I never want to even look at that store only it happens to be right down my street!! Their only saving grace was the newer guy that actually helped me in more ways than one, the chair then attention to my phone, honest attention that is. Not some judgmental snobbish attention and poor attitude I didnt need! If I am up to going back to that hell hole I will but its impossible to get a phone number to call them. As far as being in the communications business I wish I could give them a zero!! I've never been treated so poorly in my life! Let alone by some left wing DEI hire that cant do his only job of doing his job!! They have not heard the last of me!! I hope the top supervisor for the area catches wind of how customers, decades long customers like me are being treated. I only wonder if he does that to everyone that is older, in pain or walking with a cane?? Hmm I wonder if the ADA will like to know of the approved practices there and the discrimination going on when one is less than able to stand for long periods of time and the policy is they cannot offer a chair to a loyal customer. Hmmm well we shall see. Just give me a minute and it will all be reported and investigated they dont know who they just effed with and effing pissed off but they will!!! Sooner rather than later! They will learn to not piss off old ladies with canes that are in serious pain!! If their mama didn't teach them, growing up didn't teach them, well then they can just move aside because its my turn at the bat apparently and this guy bernardo deserves a good strike to his effing gourd!! And he will get his one way or the other!! Karma is a bitch and so am I!! Especially when I am treated like one!! I will respond accordingly!! Best of luck to that place! Its going down! Cheryl G.

He was friendly, fast and very professional. I live in a two-story home and Chris was up on the roof no problem and had my Starlink installed super fast. Chris was great and the price is a great value for the service Empire Satellites provide.

Original quote given did not specify a "covered cable" install. I would have declined right then and there. My router is located inside a room with no exterior walls. 2. I never "insisted" on using the mount that I bought. If it was indeed not suitable (which of course was not the case), it should have been explained exactly why. All this particular mount needed was a small block of 2x4 behind it, to clear the edge of tile roof. But Chris was too lazy and rushed to think it through. Instead, he claimed that it needed "an extension" (nope, it didn't), and proceeded to butcher my brand new fascia by driving six (!) lag bolts through the mount at haphazard angles. When I re-mounted the dish properly myself a few days later, I was appalled at the damage that was inflicted. 3. He is obviously not used to his customers checking the quality of his installs. He came up with "oh, it's not finished yet" line only after I showed him the photo of the shoddy work he has done, got up the ladder myself, and demonstrated how wobbly the mount still was. Before then, he kept insisting that the mount was installed perfectly. 4. Before he left, he did offer to install his "professional" mount for $100. It was NOT free of charge, as he claims. This sleazy used car salesman's last ditch upsell was the final straw for me. That's when I knew I had to post my review. I have nothing more to say - it is up to the reader to decide who is telling the truth. If you still decide to hire Empire Satellites to work on your home, be prepared to live with the consequences.

I found Kenny when I was looking for a mounting specialist in the Palm Springs area, and I honestly…read morecouldn't be happier with the work he did in my home. I had several projects that needed to be done, including two that made me particularly nervous. One involved mounting a TV and sound bar on a granite wall above my fireplace, and the other involved mounting a large, heavy, ornate mirror on a marble wall. Because of the materials and the value of what was being mounted, I didn't feel comfortable hiring just any handyman. I wanted someone who really knew what they were doing. Kenny is meticulous. He spent many hours here, and after each project I kept saying, "Oh my gosh, it's perfect." The TV and sound bar deserve special mention. You can see NO cords. We even came up with a plan to add a matching detail to the cord covers on the other side so they would look intentional and become part of the fireplace design rather than something you simply have to hide. The finished result is sleek, stylish, and chic. Kenny also connected all of the electronics, so there was absolutely nothing left for me to figure out afterward. That was a huge bonus. He even cleaned the TV! I already had that on my to-do list and I didn't need to do it! The TV installation itself was quite involved. The drilling took a considerable amount of time, and Kenny explained the different layers of material he had to work through to mount the TV correctly. This is exactly why you want someone who understands what is behind the wall rather than someone who simply knows how to hang a TV. And then there was the little problem of the TV angle. As we were determining the placement, we realized that the TV would be better if it could tilt downward slightly. My existing mount was fixed, so I said, "Ugh...I need a mount that tilts." Kenny said, "I have one!" I said, "You do?! What, do you just drive around with various TV mounts in your car?" He said, "Yeah, I do!" That pretty much sums up Kenny. He is prepared. I felt so relieved! Several of the other projects looked complicated and frankly were stressing me out. Not Kenny. He would look at the project, figure it out, and make everything seem easy. He was knowledgeable, careful, resourceful, and prepared for the unexpected. I also want to mention something that isn't usually included in a contractor review but mattered a lot to me. Kenny has a very clear, positive energy. When someone is going to be spending hours inside your home, that matters. I'm very sensitive to the energy of people in my personal space, and I had even prepared my assistant for that. I was ready to smudge the house with sage afterward if necessary. It wasn't necessary. By the time Kenny left, the house felt great. We were all laughing, talking about future projects, and already thinking about what we might have him do next. That combination is hard to find: professional, meticulous, knowledgeable, resourceful, prepared, and simply pleasant to have in your home. Every detail was attended to, and the finished work is beautiful. I highly recommend Kenny. If you have a complicated mounting project--or simply want someone who will treat the details as seriously as you do--hire Kenny. You will be very glad you did.

He's hung artwork, mounted TVs and sound bars, and most recently installed new kitchen cabinet hardware that required extremely precise measuring, drilling, and alignment. It's such a relief to have someone you can trust with projects where there's really no room for error. If you need anything mounted, installed, or hung in the Palm Springs area, Kenny is absolutely the person to call. Five stars all the way!
