After I had migrated my data from my old Mac to my new Mac, I had lost interest in the older MacBook Air. My new Apple watch was distracting me as was my to do list for my road trip. Apple was only going to give me a minimal credit for my old computer so I took it to icreative to take a look at it. My intention was to give it to my son, so they wiped it clean, checked the battery, and texted me later that afternoon when everything was complete. I was expecting that they would replace the battery, yet I was surprised to learn that they said I didn't need to. I am so glad I was referred to this location. Most of the work I could have done myself but sometimes when there is a time constraint, it's easier to pay for the experts to get it done right. I wouldn't recommend coming here! They are trying to make money any way that they can. Apple sent me to this location and they were trying to charge me $265 when Apple said it was going to be free. Icreative even said it would take 5hours-48 hours to fix but I called support while in the parking lot and they had my computer fixed in 45 mins and the female's attitude changed, no way I'm paying $65 just for them to talk to me, $70 for them to do what Apple already did remote and then $70+ for them to download the MACOS that Apple said should be the only thing they needed to do. As I was there 2 other older customers were complaining about the prices. They won't even talk to you unless you pay for consultations $65 minimal. A joke!!!! There were other issues while here but whatever I'll never come back! Try to contact Apple tech support via phone before coming to Icreative. You may save a lot of money!!!!! read more

I had liquid damage on my computer and worked with Matthew. He was fast, diligent, professional, courteous, and funny. He informed me in detail the work he was doing, how it would impact the computer, and the risks in a very digestible way. Liquid damage is weird and we'll see how salvageable the computer is over time, but he repaired it really quickly and got it working as best we could. We run a business and deal with electronics repairs frequently. This is by far the best repair experience I have ever had. ICreative had many open appointments while the Apple Store was booked out to the next day, and everyone there was super sweet. When trying to take my iMac to run diagnostics on it the cost would have been $200 but they ran my diagnostics and gave me the issue with a quote on how much it would take to fix. My issue was a bigger fix so I only paid $35 for the diagnostic run, but they were super thorough! Will definitely only be coming here to take care of my Macs. Thank you! read more

Top notch service and information. I had my iphone screen replaced and its as if I never turned off my phone. I was late for my pickup at 5pm closing, but they stayed for me and let me in at 5:20. Saving me 24 additional hours. It's great to know during these times of store closures, one being Apple, that I can go to an Apple certified (allows for repairs not voiding warranty) and get something fixed at Apple prices. I'm a lifelong Apple user and I always go directly to Apple stores for help. However, I had issues with my computer freezing and when I tried to book an appointment with the Apple store online, one of the options was to book it with iCreative. iCreative could see me the next day and Apple was two days out. Everyone was helpful and professional and very "Apple-like". I felt like my computer was in good hands and they gave me several options for 'fixes' for basically no cost. Everyone that works here is so incredibly helpful! When my computer needed a hardware repair Apple gave me the option of taking it to the Genius Bar, or iCreative. I chose iCreative and I am so glad I did! They were able to get me in right away, there was no wait and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. My computer needed a small atypical repair and even though it was a challenge to fix, I was only charged a diagnostic fee. I will come here from now on with any of my computer issues, because the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and seem to really enjoy working where they work. Their positivity is contagious! The Internal Speakers in my Macbook Pro suddenly became unavailabe. I knew they worked because they "gonged" at startup. I spent time on the phone with Apple Support, which was terrific, but no solution. I even did a reinstall of my OS. Still no cure. Casel helped me at the counter. He quickly figured out that the Digital Output jack switch was stuck in the ON position. (I had mistakenly plugged my analog headphones into that jack recently.) He had a special tool to turn the switch off. Problem solved. When I asked, "How much?" He replied, "No charge." iCreative is a terrific repair service for all your Apple needs. Thank goodness for Apple Care and this amazing team! I was having a few issues with my Macbook Pro suddenly after owning it for a few years. I scheduled an appointment through the Apple website and they sent me here. I had to leave my laptop with them for a few days while they made the repairs and thankfully it was covered by Apple Care. THIS PLACE IS A RIP-OFF. My experience with iCreative was very brief since I decided that paying a 30 to 40 percent premium for their services rather than just taking it to the Apple store five minutes away. When I researched the price for replacing the glass on my iPhone XS Max it was 329 dollars. ICreative is touted as a licensed Apple service center. I assumed the price would be the same and since I could get an appointment quicker at iCreative I went there. To my surprise he quoted me real Apple parts but the price was 473 dollars. He would give me a knockoff If I wanted a knockoff but that would be 350 dollars. So they do carry knockoffs but at 350 dollars was still higher than Apple store. Plus, I didn't want a knockoff bad experience in the past with one. Bottom line, I drove over to Apple store in Palm Desert waited 15 minutes for a walk-in appt and now my phone is being repaired for 329 dollars still a lot of money but not the price of a whole new phone at their crazy price of 473 dollars. I hope my experience saves many others a lot of money. Go to your local Apple store as a walk in and save yourself hundreds of dollars. ICreative is a rip-off. I was not mistaken regarding the price. He showed me the price sheet at 473 dollars plus tax. Just because your a mom and pop doesn't make it right to rip off your customers. That extra 150 dollars on just one phone could mean the difference between some poor slob not being able to afford medications or food. How do you sleep at night charging almost 500 dollars with tax for a piece of glass. Plus, your the one who is mistaken. That 350 dollar plus service plus tax price was for a KNOCKOFF and I was clear that I didn't want a knockoff. You see folks if you want to be absolutely sure your getting real apple parts than go to a real Apple store. read more

Sooo.... I dropped my I phone 8 plus in the toilet. It seemed fine but I couldn't get the charger in the port. Of course the apple store didn't have any appointments available for the foreseeable future. I found iCreative on a listing of Apple authorized dealers in Palm Desert and called immediately. I was told that they were booked, but would squeeze me in the next day. What lovely people!! Beautiful, clean store, I was offered water on arrival. As I was filling in my contact info, Rich came over and asked me the problem and started checking the port. After a bunch of debris fell out (brown rice, I'm sure) the charger fit in the port and charged as normal. Yay! I wasn't even there 5 minutes! I cannot recommend this business enough, I will not even try the Apple store again if/when I ever have a problem with my phone. Thank you so much! read more

After dropping and shattering my iphone a few days ago, I was frantically searching everywhere to help me replace my screen. Because of this coronavirus quarantine, all the Apple stores are closed. Fortunately, iCreative was open and had an opening for a reservation the next day. I drove from San Diego (2.5 hour drive) and they were able to fix my phone in a few hours. Life savers I say! So I did a really lame thing to my brand new iPhone se 2nd generation. I put the SIM card into the slot without putting it on the drawer thinking that was how it was done since the phone didn't come with any directions. SIM card stuck ! Called apple cares. ICreative is the only authorized apple repair dealer in my area. I left a message got a call back within 2 hours and an appointment in 30 minutes. Taking care to respect Covid 19 exposure I was the only one in the business and employees were masked and gloved. This place is great! So much better than going to the Apple Store. My 2019 27inch IMac fell over on my desk (by accident) and the glass front broke and the back housing was bent a little. I called Apple and luckily I have Apple Care+. Due to Covid 19, their stores weren't open so they directed me to ICreative. Apple gave me an appointment to bring my IMac in to them. Due to the virus, there were other's that Apple sent in for their appointment at the same time. ICreative was busy due to the unexpected increase in business but they were super friendly, patient and very helpful. One of their biggest assets is their phone person Daralynn. (sp?} She was super caring and so concerned for me. Mathew is amazing too. If I need more servicing, I will go here before the Apple Store. read more

Drove over 80 miles after this was the only location that had available appointments via APPLE CARE. After driving 80 miles I had to wait over two hours, now the one star review isn't reflecting the service. For the most part I didn't mind the wait or the drive. I get it we're in a pandemic, however what I do mind is the fact that they removed my glass screen protector and refused to return it to me. I have a lifetime warranty for which I paid over $50 for. Now I understand that the screen protector might have not be able to be used again but now I can't even claim my warranty because I don't have a screen protector to return! EDIT 4/20/2020 Jonathan the owner reached out to me literally minutes after posting this review. Jonathan was super helpful and addressed my issue immediately. Amazing service. Highly recommended. I made an appointment for the next day which was great considering Apple is closed due to Covid and there aren't many places open to service phones. This is an Apple certified repair shop. Got there and the employees were masked and safe. They made sure everyone was social distancing. Got me in and out in minutes. Ran diagnostics, cleaned my phone, ran diagnostics again and I was all set. Problem fixed. This place was very busy and they were handling it great. Matthew was amazing. I came in here today and my iPhone was dead in the water. I restored an update yesterday on my computer and it became frozen when it was starting up. I couldn't restart it even after using Apples help and the three side buttons to turn off left button volume up left button volume down and ride side button off. The next day today, I went to T-Mobile my carrier where they were able to turn off the phone and they said all had to do was go online and download it's update . So i tried that for over hour and then went back to T-Mobile and they couldn't get it to restore even on their data internet wifi. They then agreed it was defective and so they said go to a Apple repair facility to fix or get new one because the Apple store is closed. Last month I had great help at Creative computers on my mac air and the people working there couldn't have been nicer even fed me some of their lunch pizza and then when I met the owner Jonathan and he found out I'am a film director, producer and VFX supervisor, he told me he was a fan of some of the movies I worked including ED WOOD that I did with Tim Burton. So today when we're under COVID 19 shut down. I went by iCreative hoping they were open. They were and their behind the counter tech, Mathew, immediately said he thought he could fix and if he couldn't it couldn't be fixed. So he attached to his system to it and within TWENTY MINUTES it was FIXED!!!! Now I'm doing a download and I'm back in business and back to making film projects. I have sent many clients with repairs above and beyond my scope of work, to iCreative who have told me how great they have been. With the Apple store being almost impossible to get an appointment at and the techs being, in my opinion, sub par, I would prefer to have the techs at iCreative look over things any day over them. #sorrynotsorry Apple. They are easy to communicate with, incredibly knowledgeable and great with customers. Pricing is on point and their parts availability is great. I have also purchased a few cables that I needed, to assist clients of my own with some older models of Macs they have and to my surprise, iCreative has had these older cables in stock AND available during the pandemic.
