Not sure if this is the repair store I was taking my desktop to for a long time to try to have them re pair what they started and finally they kicked me out of the repair store after I started to run out of patience and time wasting. One of the repair guys was a heavy set Mexican and other was slim white guy, They changed their location several times , but it appear to be in the same location I was going to or close to it. First used Bob in 2014 on a laptop that I had not used for 2 years. A friend wanted it to make his music on it. Bob installed everything new with just the basic apps. $99.00 charged. The computer still runs wonderfully. Yesterday my husbands computer (all in one) stopped working. Bob again came to our rescue. This one didn't need to as much care so it was only $75.00. I drove over to the Computer Repair Company last year and they were closed. I had used Bob a number of times before and he was always very skilled, professional and would take care of whatever I needed. And often, he would fix it remotely which was really great. I'd been having issues with a new computer I recently purchased. I thought....well, I'll just try the old number and hope. Sure enough, I got a call back and Bob came over the next day and quickly fixed my computer issues and further, clearly explained all to me. He did all for a reasonable price. Took my I Phone in for it's 5th new screen ( tough on my phone I guess) and they were not only very reasonable but really fast (fixed in 30 minutes) have a old I Phone 6 but they all parts in stock and didn't try to up sell me on the Apple Glass but rather sold me the aftermarket which is half the cost. I really appreciate the honesty of the folks at Computer Repair Company. My Acer laptop died and so I took it in to see if they could fix the issue. They suggested we determine if the adapter/power cord was the issue first, but they didn't have one that worked with my laptop. So they offered to order one. If it worked, I would pay for it. If not, they would not charge me! Incredible! Unfortunately, the power cord wasn't the problem. They offered to run diagnostics, but said I could wind up paying at least half what the laptop was worth. Decided to cut my losses. Lesson learned on buying cheap laptops. I almost bought a new laptop. Battery was not holding a charge at all. My buddy told me to try this place first...just to see. For about $150 they put in a brand new battery and now my laptop battery life is like new. They saved me about a grand!! I told them that my laptop is running a bit slow...no problem. My custom built PC I built for myself case headers fell out. I had trouble plugging them into the pin connectors. Sergio was great took him 5 minutes or less and didn't even charge me! Honestly, I have to say I'm really not satisfied. I had my significant other bring my HP Specter as it had not been working. Bob told my s/o that he'd check it out over the weekend and reach back out. Monday comes around, he then tells them he won't be able to fix it and we're better off contacting HP. Ok that's fine, but what ISNT is the box he hands my s/o with the contents of my laptop in PIECES, anticipating US to put it back together. When my significant other brought it home in pieces, I was so upset I didn't even want him to take it back to this guy. We've been attempting to put it back together ourselves and to no avail. I came home last week to find my computer "dead" -- it would not power up. I called Computer Repair and they said it was probably the power supply and they carry the parts for most computers. When I arrived, Sergio opened it up and informed me that my Dell was one of the ones they did not stock -- but -- he would have it day after tomorrow. So, less than 48 hours after dropping it off, Sergio called and he had the new power supply! When I went in, he did a complete diagnostic check of the computer to make sure it was working perfectly and I was good to go! Our computer wouldn't open Windows and we couldn't retrieve the thousands of photos that were on the hard drive. I brought the computer into Miguel and Bob at Computer Repair and they not only retrieved all of the photos but also loaded all of them on to our new computer.
