The sales guy will randomly come up with more fees. I had 3 phone calls with him and evry time there would be a new fee. It was super shady. I do not recommend. read more

We cancelled our service mid 2024; told that they would come remove the equipment on our roof, but we continued to get billed. Then we were told we needed to return the I. House box in order to terminate our contract. We took the equipment to their office. We have continued to be billed for 4 more months. I reached the billing person today who told me that it is their policy that they do not stop billing until you send something in writing. I asked where in the contract that was stated, her exact words were "they told you that when you started the service" . I have been trying to get this service cancelled since Oct 2024. Still trying in Feb 2025. read more

We have used Pacific Light Wave for our Internet and network services, both at our home and our business. They are phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, they get the job done right and when we had an issue with the bad storms, they had us back up and running in no time. Highly recommend them for all of your Internet needs. read more

I'm so glad to find A provider that's work well here in the desert. I had a problem with my camera system and they were very helpful even though it's not their camera system. I left a message with them, and they called me back in a timely manner. Thank you for the great service, Danny B read more

My Internet is so unreliably horrible I had to use cellular data to post this review. I've been given the BS runaround that airplanes and helicopters are the cause of why my Internet has been literally nonexistent for several days now. This is the second home and when I left a month ago it wasn't working and now I've been here two days fighting with them constantly. No less than a dozen phone calls read more

Pacific Lightwave is great! I used this service for many years in my home and loved the reliable and local service they provided. The staff is friendly and helpful and I can't recommend them enough! read more

They had their ups and downs but overall I must say we are satisfied... The only time we loose service is when its a rainstorm but I hope they can fix those errors in the future! read more

I have personally communicated with several of the employees here and I'm always so pleasantly surprised. They are kind, helpful, and genuinely nice people who want me to have the best experience and service. We moved to LA County and I am so sad to not have their service any longer. I keep hoping they expand. I highly recommend read more

I've used pacific lightwave for years and it's been the best experience I've had with any internet provided. The service is great and with any concern or question Ive had they've been extremely helpful. I recommend them any chance I get. read more

I wish I could give zero stars.. TWICE now I've spoken to a rude man in "sales" He lacks any and all customer service skills. He answers the line almost as if he's irritated that you called. Like its a bother to have to take your call. We are new to a rural area and sadly this is one of the few places that services us. We own our own business and need fast internet, we were willing to pay whatever ridiculous price they had to offer. I will now be calling anyone else and paying anyone but them. As a small business owner, I know that without a good sales rep and overall good customer service skills we wouldn't make it. I don't know how this company has survived with him as the sales rep. He lost this customer for sure! read more

I've had service with Pacific Lightwave for years. The customer service and service techs have always been prompt and courteous on the few occasions that I've needed help (especially after some of the strong storms we've had in the valley). Reasonable rates and reliable service, plus great speeds that can keep all four gamers in my house happy, even when they're all online together! Love that it's locally owned and operated! read more

Service is great. Just can't get a call back. Have left several messages. Poor customer support.

beware of the early termination fee. They verbally agreed to not charge me when I signed up but when I called to cancel they charge me and said it was not in writing. read more

This company came through for me when no others could. Took some time and effort to get everything set up but well worth it. Everything worked out good for me & my family. I would highly recommend. read more

After months of complaining to my prior internet provider about the slow data speeds and constant disconnects, I have switched to Pacific Lightwave and I am quite pleased with the service I'm receiving. The data speeds are far greater than the best that the old provider could furnish. read more

Horrible customer service. As a local business owner, we understand that first impressions are everything. We treat all of our potential clients as if they were our own. That is not the case with Pacific LightWave. I called to get some pricing for our personal residence and was greeted over the phone with an annoyed and very impatient associate. He was very short with answers and kept directing me to the website. Just got to the website, just go to the website. I thought they were local!? I can't imaging how the customer service will be once I run into a connection issue! I do not recommend even calling these guys for pricing. read more

I'm about as unsatisfied as someone can be when paying for a service. I very often get less than 10% of the speed for which I am paying and have been strung along for over two years with promises of "firmware updates" that will supposedly fix the problem. They have replaced the hardware on my roof, which helped with the frequent disconnects to some extent but did not solve the problem completely. Customer service offers little to no assistance and has often claimed that my router is the problem, when it has been proven to not be the case by representatives verifying that the speeds reaching the hardware on my roof match the speeds I report coming through my router. Also, do not pay for the high-end package because you will rarely get anywhere near the advertised speeds. I have the 50/5 mbps (50 down, 5 up) package and am currently sitting at 5 mbps download. I will attach a screenshot of a speed test for proof. I no longer even bother calling in because the representatives offer the same "firmware updates" line every time. Must be quite the update for it to take over two years to roll out! The reps also must not take notes of any kind because I am required to explain the same things over and over every time I have called. I'm very glad to be moving out of the area soon so I will no longer have my money effectively stolen by paying for a service I do not receive. I would only recommend this to someone who has literally no other options than satellite internet. read more

Pacific Lightwave - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I wish I could give them zero stars. I went with pacific lightwave because the alternative Spectrum isnt very gooood. Boy was I wrong wish I went with Spectrum. For over month I have had off and on service, when I do have service it's at very slow speeds. The support email is useless no one responds and very rare does someone pick the support phone. I run an airbnb and my last 3 renters have complained for not having internet access. This is unacceptable service and not what I signed up for. To top it off every support person has a different solution to my problem and neither solution has solved my problem. Today they came out and "upgraded" my equipment. Still no internet at first he insisted my router ws faulty and asked me to call the manufacturer. After refusing to believe its my equipment he spoke to someone said I need to wait until 9pm for it to register. Turns out it wasnt equipment after all. Wtf is that all about ? Save your time the trouble and the headaches and stay away. read more

I've been a customer for years. When I first moved to Pacific Lightwave it was great. No speed issues, no reliability issues. Since then the service has become highly unreliable -- to the point we don't even call when the service goes down because they give some excuse and tell us it will be up later. They complain of being under denial of service attacks yet larger ISPs have this figured out through redundancy and dynamic routing. I have a Smart Home and I work from home so having consistently reliable internet is important to me. If it is important to you, keep looking. Pacific Lightwave is not growing gracefully and that means frequent outages. read more

We heard about Pacific Lightwave through recommendation by our business partner. We switch to PLW 2 weeks ago. During the initial setup, we ran in to connection issue. After a few weeks of troubleshooting and several phone calls, the connection issue has been resolve. Their support is amazing and very patient. As mentioned, their IT support are amazing. They have been extremely helpful in resolving the connection issues. After a few weeks of working with me, they have narrowed down where the problem lies. They had installed an updated firmware on their system along with their tower by our area. I am now able to connect with minimal hiccup.. I tell, It is much better than what we were experiencing. 99.5% better that it was. Kudos to Simon, Peter and Lorenzo. They are amazing. They respond to my email and phone call right away. I highly recommend Pacific Lightwave internet whether you live in the city or rural area like we do.. The help desk service is excellent. Thank you for resolving my connection issue. read more

They have the worse customer service ever! The accounting person is nasty and rude. She likes to argue but hates listening especially when she's wrong. The service is not all that great to put up with rudeness. read more
