    We come to this store in the valley when we need Verizon help. Won't go anywhere else. Friendly staff. Quick service. Highly recommended.

However, it's woefully slow. I don't think it's the reps, per se, but more the customers. During the almost 1.5 hours combined waiting time (I had to pick up new equipment, go home, then come back and drop off the old equipment), I noticed that almost everyone who was there had little to no grasp of current technology. Either it wasn't a clear understanding of their cellular phone plan rates, the Xumo box and remote, or how to connect their dumb or smart TV to spectrum, it was all rather simple stuff that took so much time. I had ordered my equipment while driving and was told it would be ready after 1pm. Fair enough. I got there at 1:20 but didn't leave until 2:15! Yikes! Then, when I returned at 6:30 pm, I wasn't helped until almost 7. For those of us who know how to log into a website and navigate, there should be an automated dispenser and/or return kiosk for equipment. I really didn't have to talk to anyone to get or return the equipment. I mean, I had to activate the new modem on my own via their website, so Spectrum already made the assumption I didn't need any customer service help, so why would they think I'd need it picking up or returning equipment. The 2 star rating was based on the wait times, but really, it's a reflection of the customers' lack of knowledge... I appreciate the teams' patience there. Some of the questions or the rudeness of the customers would have gotten on my last nerve...

    Was trying to add a user to our account. We spoke to the phone support and got instructions to go…read morein to the store and they would then call the primary account user on their T-mobile number. We went in and were told no, they had to come into the store. There wasn't any attemp to see how he can help you, just a wall of inaction. So we left. The primary account user is in another State, so that complicates it. Yet, he called T-Mobile phone support again and they added the name to the account, only needed us in the store with ID and the phone, for a new card. We made sure to go to a different person, but the guy that originally was no help made a point to come over and tell the girl helping us to make sure we were authorized to be on the account, like we were a couple of crooks. Good grief. Homophobe maybe? I don't know. Never had that sort of accusation - ever. So rude. Luckily, he went back to the woman he was helping and the girl helping us took care of everything. And, she was very nice and professional. She knew what to do and was efficient, while remaining polite and kind. After 2 calls and two visits to the T-Mobile store, we have my husband on the family account. I like T-Mobile, or I'd give lower stars, but the coverage is good for international roaming and usually the service is nice. I'm so taken back by the implication that we were trying to scam something. He did nothing to help us, simply dismissed us, without even lifting a finger, unless he gave us one as we left.... I don't know, and wouldn't be surprised. It just felt bad.

I followed the prompts on my phone and made an appointment for 5:30 PM at this location. However, after I checked in, I was told that battery replacement usually takes about two hours or more and that I wouldn't get my phone back until the following day. This was highly disappointing as I had driven an hour and a half from 29 Palms to make this appointment too. I wish the system would have notified me of how long the replacement would take or prevented me from booking such a late appointment (this store closes at 7pm). Nevertheless, Benny made it happen. Debbie also took really good care of me, and was such a pleasure to talk to, too. This kind of customer service is what makes Apple so great, and why I continue to be devoted to their ecosystem of products.     I had visited this retailer once before and was assisted by an employee who didn't seem to want to…read moresell me anything. I asked questions and he answered with a minimum amount of words, not looking up from his screen much, and not offering alternatives or even suggesting any viable purchases. I left feeling like I had wasted my time stopping to enquire and possibly purchasing an iPhone. I made a mental note to not go back there again. Then COVID closed the Verizon store at The River and at my wife's suggestion, we returned to this retailer. Fortunately for me, Cruz Lefebre was the young man who assisted us in the process of upgrading to a new iPhone 11 Pro Max, switching my wife's SIM card and data to my previous iPhone 7 and clearing her old phone for gifting to our grandson. A lot to be done, to say the least, especially when I have over 2500 contacts--I have a deep, wide network!--and 36 gigs of pics & vids on my old phone! But through it all, Cruz was professional, courteous, knowledgable, patient and personable, all at the same time. A couple of challenges presented themselves in the lengthy process of getting this all done, but Cruz was unflappable... cool, calm and collected every step of the way. My confidence was high in regards to his ability to get it all done in the most efficient way possible. And I wasn't wrong! In our conversations I discovered that he was of an entrepreneurial nature, so I invited him to attend my global network meeting and looked forward to introducing this young man of unique character to my trusted inner sphere of business owners in this community. He attended the meeting and is returning next week, considering membership. He will be a definite asset to the organization if he sees it as a viable opportunity for himself. It's very refreshing to see this level of professionalism in someone of his age--early twenties--and I know this will serve him well in all of his endeavors.
