I absolutely love this store. Anytime I have a problem with my phone, I take it here and immediately they are able to fix it. My friends have tried to get me to.switch. But no way will I switch. This store is too valuable. And what i like most is the personal attention I get here. My friends have to call a number to fix a problem. Not here. People are there in the store ready to assist you. And I love the price and the coverage I get. I used to pay twice what I pay now, and was never able to get connected when in a doctor office or hospital. Now I get 5 bars everywhere I go. read more

6/7 I transfer to T-Mobile from a few bumpy years with MetroPCS. I take my new phone to a local store to complete the transfer on 6/11. I express concern for a USB wall plug. I also attempted to put the wall plug ($19.99) in a cart online. My last attempt was through 800-TMobile and the rep discovered that ............THE WALL PLUG WAS LESS THAN $50; THEREFORE THE SALE WAS REJECTED. i went to T Mobile on Hwy 111 about being charged for an account that had been closed 6 months ago i found out that after i transferred my acct to AT and T that 2 OLD phone lines from 2014 wer activated even though there was no activity on those phone lines for a decade. when i went to the store i spoke to a very rude store manager who was more interested in watching TV than helping customers. Despite my being told by phone that my acct had been closed 3 times by phone i was blamed for these charges and they refused a refund. I'm so glad i've switched companies!! I had been having phone bill issues since I decided to switch to T-Mobile from Sprint a while back. I couldn't figure out why I was paying a higher monthly bill than I was initially quoted. I made an appointment and met with T-Mobile Representative Eddie C., I explained to him that I had 5 lines and discussed the issues I had with my total bill. Eddie, took the time to listen, he researched my account, and he then made important suggestions. Eddie placed me on the best phone plan that it was best suitable for me. My initial selected services were NOT affected at all, and best of all, " it will cost me less," yes, my monthly bill will be less! Eddie obviously knows his job, he was very professional, and friendly. I have been a T-Mobile customer for a few years. My wife got a new phone a month ago. There was a promotion with $500.00 off the new phone with a trade in of her old phone. The new phone was $1200.00. I paid the difference, which was $700.00. When I received my monthly bill, I was charged an extra $8.33. When I inquired at the T-Mobile store about this I was told that the old phone had a fair market value of $180.00 which was applied to my down payment. They tried to explain that the $180.00 went to a down payment. The $8.33 is going towards paying back the $180.00. If I have to pay the $180.00 back, I only got $320.00 for the old phone. That is false advertising! It is bait and switch. read more

They couldn't give me a new freaking phone because "their system " was no able to do that. These two employees Esmeralda and Randy need to take more training or get fired. Wow, this experience has been awful. First, I go in to let them know that my phone is having a major battery issue and it dies instantly. I get called up by a young lady who was very rude and basically my problem could not be covered by a warranty due to my battery usage. My phone used 37% of battery in the last 3 hours with 9 minutes of actual screen time. She basically told me I was lying about the battery problem and said there was not a single thing I could do besides buy a new phone. I then left and called the store a few minutes later after my frustration and asked to speak to their manager. I waiting for 20 minutes until I decided to hang up the phone. I cannot believe they think this is acceptable to treat customers in this manner. I think this is time to switch companies since T-Mobile obviously does not want to help me resolve my issue. read more

I went into the store yesterday and I had done my homework and wanted to speak to the person I had previously received information from regarding changing my service to T-Mobile and purchasing a new phone. I had on a mask as did my adult son and when I approached the counter the male that seemed like he wanted to help us, yelled at me to stand back and stand on the circle of the pink feet. Well, since I had the paper in my hand with all the information regarding my information needed, I had to approach the counter. That is so very rude, especially since I was very aware of the covid rules. He became hostile and was not willing to help me. What happened the sale went to another carrier since I simply said time was being wasted on the transaction and I left the store. Never to return. This deserves the low rating because of a hateful employee. read more

RUN. I have never, in 16 years of owning a cell phone, had to fight so hard to end a relationship with a cell phone company, and I was not even on a contract. Like a bad ex, this took over a month of extrication to finally be free. After about 6 phone calls, NONE of which were apparently "noted in the system" I am STILL waiting for the credit to be returned on my signal boost deposit. Which you will need if you plan on using a phone in La Quinta/ Palm Desert, etc. I would loose all service while driving around the Rancho Mirage area. My past month with Ting has been convenient, efficient, and extremely affordable compared to this. Their customer service is the best part. Adios old bf, your sweater's on the lawn. read more

My husband and I went to the La Quinta T Mobile store on March 29, 2022. We were Sprint customers switching over to T Mobile and we needed 2 new phones. We put this off as long as possible, because we dreaded the whole process. Daniel was so kind, helpful and professional. The new phones we wanted were in stock. The transfer of pictures, aps, contacts, and other information was seamless. Our phones are great and everything worked out so well. Daniel did such an excellent job of putting on the glass covers and cases and politely and completely answered any questions we had. Plus, we got to keep our Sprint plan! A few weeks before, at night, we stopped into the T Mobile La Quinta store. Susie, the manager on duty was so welcoming and helpful. She explained the options we had, and we agreed to come back when we were ready to make the change. If we hadn't met Daniel and Susie we might have gone with another provider. We did not have this same wonderful experience at other T Mobile and other places where you can get a new phone. This store and the employees and management really deserve kudos for their excellent customer service. This is truly a model of how the process should go. Thanks Daniel and Susie. Never wanted to use my yelp account but this store even when the customer care on the phone told them to refund my money they said no and pushed me out the store. Unhelpful and underhanded. What they offer online is not the same in store watch out they will take your money and then tell you to pound sand when it's on their freaking website! Even customer care supervisor was floored at this stores stance when they said they should refund my money. Luckily I got better service on a phone than I did face to face. I'm part of the note 7 recall. I went to trade in my phone for new approved phone. I was assured that my pictures, videos, contacts etc. would be backed up. After I got the new Note 7 all of my data was not transferred over. I asked for my phone back and the assistant manager Azucena would not let me have it back to back things up even though several other representatives said it was okay. She was rude and could of easily given me back my pictures and contacts but refused to. She was discriminating my race and was not being fair, leaving me with absolutely nothing on my phone. read more

I have been in there twice to inquire on billing and upgrades and all I got back from this store was very bad customer service. I will drive the 10 miles to the T-mobile store in the Mall in a heart beat. I sure don't believe the other reviews of this location. The is a great store with outstanding service. I recently bought an unlocked iPhone and wanted to transfer over my very old phone to this. The first employee helped me transfer my SIM card into the new phone and then helped me figure out my Blue Tooth connection as well. He followed me out to my car to perform this function! I stopped by the next day because all of my contacts had not transferred but did not have my old phone. The next nice two people told me to come back with the phone - which I did in 5 minutes - and they again bent over backwards with great service. Everyone was very pleasant, very helpful and very tech savvy. I'd go back there again and recommend them highly! read more

My second months payment with T Mobile I tried to do with automated pay your bill on the phone. Long story short, it said my card was declined 3 times (how could it be, there was money in there) I checked with my bank and they had the funds! so had to drive the 8 miles to the store pay again. It doesn't make sense and I don't have the patience to speak again with someone in the Phillipines that says "sorry about that" but does nothing to solve the problem. Also, over the two months I received texts saying your plan is good through the 8th of the following month. It was disconnected on the 7th at midnight. Isn't through inclusive of the day mentioned? Apparently not according to a girl in the store that made it up as she went, she didn't know either way. It took 3 days or more to get my money back that was held but supposed to have been declined. The purchase went well but don't know if I can stay with this provider. It seems first rate coverage, if you don't mind losing speed quite quickly if not on unlimited. I signed up to change plans. I was told a price that wouldn't be charged until the phones were sent. I received an email telling me they were back ordered until 11/28 or after. A few days later they took money from my account. I had issues when I called. I did receive the phones and they took more money from my account. I sent the phones back and was told it would be 30 to 90 days to refund. They are quick to take your money and more then they were supposed to, but slow to return it. I would not recommend the buy you out of your old contract program. read more

My situation was simple. I had recently purchased an unlocked smartphone from Best Buy and want to connect to T-Mobile at this location. I went in and within ten minutes I was out of the store with a calling plan and new number. The young lady who helped me (didn't catch her name!) was very helpful and friendly. I have to say that I have never left a negative review until right now. My 14 year old son and I are T-mobile customers, before that I was a Verizon customer for 10 yrs. We were victims of the recent Galaxy note 7 recall. We went to T-mobile today to trade his recalled phone in. Which let me add has not spontaneously combusted thus far as we were warned. The T-mobirep helping us said to my son, as long as you download google photos on your old phone it will tranfer all of your stuff to the new phone. Well she was WRONG dead WRONG. So here I go galavanting back to t- mobile (we had only gone next door before my son realized nothing was transferring over) with a sobbing 14 year old to ask if they would please give US back the old phone and we would transfer it all over ourselves no reason for them to be in harms way. Or we would just confirm his old phone was backed up properly to transfer to the new Note 7. All of his photos and contacts are in the old phone. Being held held hostage by the t-mobile Nazi with the poorly drawn on eyebrows. The middle aged female named Azuceda. She looked at me and my crying son while I updated her and she proceeded to say I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. Well can I speak to the manager. I am the manager! She squawked back at me. Well can I talk to your manager? She's off today! Of course how convenient. Can you give me a good reason why you cannot accomodate my wishes? I will sign a waiver in case I explode whatever you need me to do? She was having none of it! No I am sorry i am an angry person feel my wrath. So here I am. I have e-mailed the "real" manager, we pleaded with Azuceda (don't ask me I copied it from her name tag) to please put the phone aside until we resolve things with the actual manager she said I'd be happy to do that. We shall see, hopefully the store manager gets back to me a.s.a.p before the phone mysteriously gets a factory reset oops I don't know what happened. Fingers crossed and toes crossed.
