Had a very bad customer with new products. Purchased New Phones, Watches and Tablets with employee Daniel not telling us the truth. Went in to add a new phone to account. He told us there was a promotion giving us 2 new phones, 2 new Tablets and 2 new watches. there was nothing wrong with our existing products. he said only needed to pay taxes which amounted to over $600.00. Paid that but he would not give receipt. or tell us monthly charge. Could not get copy of billing. Came to corporate store found out it was all lies. We are charged insurance, and many charges not approved by us. Our bill is $1,004.89 month!!!! that is preposterous.. nobody would pay that for 2 home phones.. remember the products were Free just pay the sales tax. Monique is the absolute best when it comes to customer service, being informed about all the promos and deals, and knowing what's right for her customers without pushing products onto them. I went in today to trade in my old phone, she made the process so smooth, she was quick & efficient. she was knowledgeable, and she was so sweet to me. She made me feel super welcomed and even cracked some jokes with me. It felt like I've known her my whole life and I had just met the girl. I definitely will be returning to this location soon, & not just because she was able to hook your girl up with that free watch promo! But because I truly felt like I belonged as a customer. & that speaks volumes. Normally going into phone stores you expect it to be a drag but my experience was the opposite. He greeted me with a quick smile & looked me in the eye when I spoke & he listened to me. He didn't try to sell me the biggest,the baddest or the most expensive phone & tablet. He did make sure I had the things I needed & he set up everything for me. Without a doubt,this was hands down,the easiest,best buying experience I've ever had! I would never ever ever do business with Victra Corporate, Victra Indio, CA or Verizon again. Bought 3 new I-phones, 1 new line, 2 wearable devices service only, Was quoted 185/mo plus taxes in September SB around 206. My billing history rages from 505 to 305, every month it was a different number. I spent countless hours texting and on the phone with the store staff, many many more hours on the phone with Verizon directly. FInally got my bill adjusted to 217 in MARCH which is still much more than quoted but just did not want to deal with it any longer. In the end they owe me 360 for over payment which I have very little chance of ever seeing. The employees at the store are less than useless and the Verizon direct phone support is not much better. DO NOT FALL FOR the phone trade in scam, it is just that it is a scam. If Victra is watching go ahead and give me a call it won't be hard to find me, ask you sales staff, initials DG. He has my number from the MONTHS of texts and calls trying to remedy this situation. Save your time and money, ATT through Costco if you are a member has a screaming deal. Honestly so disappointed in this location. Went in because my SIM card was not being read by my iPhone. Went during my lunch break thinking I just needed to new SIM card no big deal. The guy who assisted me seemed friendly and began running diagnostics on my phone and making small talk. After maybe 10-15 mins at most, he said the digital SIM card was damaged and my entire phone needed to be replaced but that I qualified for an upgrade and trade in. I was honestly so frantic to get my phone up and running as my father id having severe health issues and my niece has just gone into labor that I thought okay then how much will that cost? He said taxes and an activation fee would be $260. Astounded by the amount I asked if this was something Apple could repair since I do have AppleCare and he said no and that I would only get to replace my old phone. I knew that was the alternative and decided to make a Genius Bar appt at Best Buy instead. I took an hour off work to attend that appointment only to find out that had my "eSIM" been damaged it was repairable for $30! WHICH BTW, it was not damaged! The phone passed all diagnostics with flying colors. I was then referred to Verizon to have my "eSIM" reissued. I then drove the the La Quinta Verizon and was quickly helped by MJ, who is amazing, and fixed my phone in the same time it took the other Verizon to almost talk me into a new phone!! I do NOT recommend coming here whatsoever!! read more

Really bad customer service. Ordered some phones through the app and never received a call or email. Got to the store and one guy was telling each customer that walked in to sit down and wait with a really rude attitude. Customers walking out left and right . 2 other employees finally walk out from the back to "help" and didn't know how to do their job . Ended up getting my phones stuck in a trade in process due to them canceling the order . Still trying to get my new phones .Do your self a favor and go elsewhere. This review is wayyy overdue! Sales rep Amy went above and beyond providing exceptional service! I came in during the week back in February (yeah, 5 months ago) and had previous services with AT&T(which sucks by the way). I explained my situation to her and she just went straight to work getting me a new phone, the best data plan and threw in some amazing accessories too! She diligently and efficiently got me in and out of there in about an hour. Amy also did a follow up call a few weeks later to check on how things were going with my new service plan and phone and no other sales rep has ever done that before. If you need a new phone or service plan or any help with your current phone/plan, you may want to consider going to speak with Amy at the Verizon store off Jackson (next to Carl's Jr.) She was very professional, personable and meticulous. I had a horrible experience with Vanessa M. telling me I had to buy a bundle of accessories in order to get a phone. I explained that I didn't need accessories and she still wouldn't sell me the phone without the "bundle". While checking out she installed the glass protector that I had to have in case I returned the phone in the 30 day window. The 3 accessories were $150. The next day I went to the Palm Desert store and was told I didn't need to buy the bundle but that nothing could be done because the glass protector was installed on my phone already. I returned the case at a loss. I was told a manager would contact me. It has been almost 2 months and nothing. What a scam. read more

My wife and I have been a Verizon Customer since 1995. We have bought 4 phones from this Authorized Retailer including the iPhone my wife recently purchased. She went inside today and asked Vanessa a simple question on how to activate the voice response on her Apple Map App. My wife was the only one in line and Vanessa's response was to write a phone number on a yellow piece of paper and hand it to my wife. My wife inquired why, and was told, "We are not technician's, call that number!" Are you kidding me! We are going to attempt to contact the manager / owner because this type of customer service is unacceptable. read more

Buyer beware! The staff here will tell you anything and act nice just to get you to buy something you don't need. That includes being told you have a "virus" and need to replace the whole phone! Never mind a simply resetting the phone. I know this advice was complete BS because they then used a transfer app to copy all of the data to a new phone, which is a huge security risk! They'll also give you several "free" cheaply made accessories that are heavily marked up then discounted. That way, if you ever return the device, you'll have to pay for it all at full price, since "accessory sales are final". Skip this place and go to a LEGITIMATE Verizon store. There were 2 people in there working but one was chatting with a friend who was not even there for help. I bought a phone here and was charged for a charger. I asked Vannessa if the charger was free and she replied it's part of the package. After asking her several times how much was it she kept saying it's part of the package. Once I saw the receipt I noticed that this "package" was $35 and it was not an authentic charger. I never asked for a package or a charger. Before I left the store I went back to her and told her three times I wanted to return it. She told me stuff like it's part of the package, we can't give away for free, and it's going to take a while to return it because she had to call customer service. Obviously Vanessa is trying to get her commission. Who knows how many people they do this to. Don't go here! read more

I went today just to check out plans because I am thinking of switching. When I arrived there was only 5 people in the building so I waited respectfully away from the others to follow social distancing and respect their space. The sales representatives are chatting up the people they are helping and laughing with each other which leads me to believe that it's a warm environment and that they are really doing their jobs well due to the inviting atmosphere. Yet that all seems to change when I step forward to get help with my questions. Almost immediately the I feel uninvited the guy at the counter asks me to wait away from him even tho he was open and I was standing on the marked areas they have for social distancing, then another representative tells me they can help me it was the most uncomfortable unprofessional experience I had ever had. It was like I was talking to a answering machine I got one word answers to a majority of my questions, the only time I got more than one word a time out from the representative was when they were trying to check my device compatibility. Over all I think that the company is one of the best, but I will not return to this store. read more

I would highly recommend this Verizon store. Cesar Lomeli was great! I spent over an hour having him transfer data from one phone to another. It was not a simple process. He advised me I would be entitled to a credit for my old phone. I purchased a glass protector which he was happy to install. I also discussed other plans and I did change to a better plan and lower price. Verizon is lucky to have employees with the attitude and knowledge that Cesar has. Thank you again! read more

When I first switched over to Verizon we had someone "Amy" help us out and that "Amy" girl screwed us over super good. She's all BS! She said things that weren't true to my contract. Imported the wrong number and leaving me to deal with the mess. Messaging my fiancé, who btw is not a Verizon customer the number was just imported accidentally and that's how she got it. (Very un classy and un profession and very desperate) if you see a BS Amy run. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING! Also, I recently found out she does not work there anymore. Which is super good. Because she's just a mess. I wish I would have not signed that 2 year contract. After these two years with Verizon I will for sure be leaving this company. 1 because they're always putting buts to complains I have and 2nd when I called HR to report the problem with my fiancé they did not do anything. read more

Absolutely horrible. First of all, we had to wait forever but one of the sales people was very kind and said we would be next. We watched the "Manager" walk in with a bag of burritos and even though the store was busy, he took his time in the back eating. Well....he comes out and I ask to get a hot spot ONLY and he asked who our phones are with. I wasn't asking about phones. I just want to cash purchase a hot spot and do a pre pay plan. Next he gets my ID and asks for my social security number because he needs to run my credit (he didn't tell me that though until i asked why he needed my SS#). I said NO, I don't want a contract. And all of the sudden the prices go sky high, far higher than advertised and he starts making up crap right in front of us. Wouldn't answer questions and you could watch him make up prices. He was offering to sell a refurbished old hot spot and started quoting erroneous prices. It was a sham and he was going to rip us off unless I signed a contract. I would NEVER go back there. Awful experience! I went in on a Friday and had our iPhone upgrade all set and needed to wait for our phone to be sent in. I went in a couple days later for the upgrade which I told the employee Stephanie and she ended up adding a new line completely without saying. I knew i had to pay off my phone and when I told her she said it was already paid off so she said all I had to pay was taxes(which was confusing since we were previously told to pay it off & wouldn't have to pay taxes). Excited as I was using my new phone I called Verizon because I saw a new line was added. They told me to I had to stop using it and factory reset it because I had TO RETURN THE PHONE. When we came in to return the phone, they told us we had to come back an HOUR later to deal with the same girl who messed up. So I now have to go through a whole new process because nothing was done right. And we are not being compensated for any of these inconveniences!! Will not be returning after this. read more
