I followed the prompts on my phone and made an appointment for 5:30 PM at this location. However, after I checked in, I was told that battery replacement usually takes about two hours or more and that I wouldn't get my phone back until the following day. This was highly disappointing as I had driven an hour and a half from 29 Palms to make this appointment too. I wish the system would have notified me of how long the replacement would take or prevented me from booking such a late appointment (this store closes at 7pm). Nevertheless, Benny made it happen. Debbie also took really good care of me, and was such a pleasure to talk to, too. This kind of customer service is what makes Apple so great, and why I continue to be devoted to their ecosystem of products. Again - Benny, Debbie, and whoever performed my battery replacement in the back - THANK YOU!

When I arrived a half hour early, I was directed to the table in the back with the screen. There wasn't a chair (stool) to sit. I wasn't going to stand for an hour, so I left. Recommendation: don't overbook your classes.

The simple replacement went from a perfectly working phone to a broken phone. The screen kept going white with lines or just didn't turn on. Another thing that ticked me off was that my 17 year old daughter took it to them on her own and when she went back to pick it up they had added a front screen because they broke hers and were charging her for it as well. My husband had to drive over because they wouldn't give her the phone back without paying the additional cost they had added because they broke it. Funny thing was that when my husband arrived no longer just a kid, they were like "pay us what you think is fair". Lucky I hadn't been there because fair would have been $0.00. It's been such a headache. Now we have her phone back because it had to stay over night with them and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! This was after paying $250.00. This shops actions really make me wonder if they know anything about cell phones.

I spoke with Hector, who confirmed that I qualified for the promotion but I didn't have my ID that day. I returned on September 25th, spoke to Hector again, and he verified my eligibility a second time. He helped me complete the process through the T-Life app, and I paid the $10 activation fee. I specifically asked multiple times if there would be any ongoing charges for this line, and Hector repeatedly assured me that it would be free for the life of my account. However, when I approved the line, the app displayed a $35 charge. I asked Hector about this, and he said the app wouldn't reflect the promotion but that I would not actually be billed the $35. Based on that assurance, I went ahead with the activation. When I received my next bill, it was over $50 higher than usual. I returned to the store and was helped by a kind employee (unfortunately I didn't catch her name). She tried to assist but wasn't able to correct the issue, and recommended I return when Hector was working. When I came back, Hector was assisting another customer, so I spoke with Omar(I think was his name), who I believe is the assistant manager. He tried to help, but when Hector joined the conversation, he inaccurately stated that I had added the line myself without ID. I clarified that while I visited without ID on the 24th, I completed the activation on the 25th with his direct assistance and explicit confirmation about the "free line" terms. Omar spoke with the manager in the back and told me they could only credit me for one month, and that going forward I would have to pay for the line or cancel it. This is unacceptable because I added the line based on false information given by an employee, and I have already distributed this business number to clients -- canceling it would cause major disruption to my work. When I asked to speak directly to the store manager, I was told he was "in meetings." I went outside and saw several managers casually talking and laughing in front of the store, so I went back in to ask again. The assistant manager said the store manager still refused to come out and speak to me, even after I explained I had already made multiple trips to resolve the issue. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I feel misled by Hector's incorrect information and dismissed by a manager who refused to engage with a customer about a legitimate billing problem caused by his staff. However, it's woefully slow. I don't think it's the reps, per se, but more the customers. During the almost 1.5 hours combined waiting time (I had to pick up new equipment, go home, then come back and drop off the old equipment), I noticed that almost everyone who was there had little to no grasp of current technology. Either it wasn't a clear understanding of their cellular phone plan rates, the Xumo box and remote, or how to connect their dumb or smart TV to spectrum, it was all rather simple stuff that took so much time. I had ordered my equipment while driving and was told it would be ready after 1pm. Fair enough. I got there at 1:20 but didn't leave until 2:15! Yikes! Then, when I returned at 6:30 pm, I wasn't helped until almost 7. For those of us who know how to log into a website and navigate, there should be an automated dispenser and/or return kiosk for equipment. I really didn't have to talk to anyone to get or return the equipment. I mean, I had to activate the new modem on my own via their website, so Spectrum already made the assumption I didn't need any customer service help, so why would they think I'd need it picking up or returning equipment. The 2 star rating was based on the wait times, but really, it's a reflection of the customers' lack of knowledge... I appreciate the teams' patience there. Some of the questions or the rudeness of the customers would have gotten on my last nerve...
