I purchased my prescription/transition Rayban Meta glasses here September of 2025. Wore them every day they were amazing until they had a technical/ software issue. I submitted a request in rayban and they covered me for a new pair. Jaason who I believe was the store manager went above and beyond for me even during a fairly busy time in the store. I didn't have the printed warranty claim from rayban and the store could not print it due to privacy issues. Jaason still processed my claim and said he would help me get it printed out and submit it right away ! I thought that was amazing as these days most would tell me to come back (understandable). Sad. Several months ago I left a 5 star review. Follow up not good! The assistant manager charged me for a screw that fell out of my glasses after wearing them for a few months! The screw was ordered and still hasn't arrived. I spent over $1,000 for these frames and extra $ for protection. A waste of $ for sure! If you have to use this business I suggest skipping the mall and going to the flagship store in Palm Desert at Desert Crossings! A wonderful experience yesterday! They fixed my frames in 5 minutes for free! What a huge difference a few miles makes!! read more

My husband and I spent over $1000. For glasses and sunglasses. We were told we would receive them in 7 to 10 days. Day 14 we canceled our order for a refund. They had sent one pair and a week later a pair of sunglasses that were not even tinted. They had no idea when the other two pair would arrive. Absolutely the worst business I have ever dealt with. I tried LensCrafters for the first time recently. The staff was miserably unfriendly and it seemed like I was bothering them. I ordered two pairs and they came in at different times which was a bit of a hassle to have to go back twice to pick them up. Neither pair was right and I couldn't see which was incredibly frustrating. Luckily, they have a 30 day return policy so I decided to return them. Of course, the clerk was just as rude handling the return and acted like he was doing me a big favor for taking the worthless glasses back. When I first went to the store I got a bad vibe and I should have listened to it. Again, they took the glasses back so I'm out nothing, just some time. Will never go back. read more

I went to LensCrafters this morning and Jose the assistant manager greeted me - I had 2 perfectly good pair of sunglasses that I needed a new nose piece on both. I had taken the glasses to where I bought them and they told me the nose piece for these Oakley sunglasses could not be replaced- that they were discontinued - Jose assured me this was not the case - replaced both nose pieces, cleaned both pairs of glasses and returned them to me --and he charged me nothing!! So, My wife and I were at Sunglass Hut in the Palm Desert mall. They did a fantastic job, helped me find a part number for my broken Oakleys and my wife bought a new pair. She asks if they can throw a screw in her old pair for a spare. I have fixed them with replacement screws but they keep falling out. They said we don't have any screws but Lens Crafters downstairs is our sister company it's a free service they will help you. Ok thanks! We walk downstairs and enter Lens Crafters to find the only one employee trying on glasses. We are the only people inside. My wife explains why we are there and the young man says Ok just leave them here for 30 minutes to an hour. He must have read our expressions because he said you know it's a free service so you have to wait. My wife being witty, says oh because you are so busy! Ok no Thanks we will Leave. We have a doctors appointment. He didn't really want to give the glasses back but did reluctantly. I went there after a bad experience at another place. They took my glasses even though I did not buy from them and did not matter the brand name. I had my prescription and glasses and all I needed was my lenses. The lady which I forgot her name but she was amazing. She went above and beyond and to give my toddler stickers to keep him occupy and focus on me was awesome. I went there around 6PM on Friday and they have my glasses ready Sat morning at 11:30. The earpiece unattached from my sunglasses that I purchased at Lenscrafters, so I went to The Shops mall to have them repaired. 1. The salesperson told me I couldn't have purchased them from Lenscrafters because they don't carry that brand, when, in fact, I DID! 2. I was given a card for repair in Cathedral City out by 10 and Ramon, quite a distance for repair, when in fact, there is a repair place in the mall above them that fixed my sunglasses! I already gave this place a five star review, but they deserve another one. Last week I took my five-year-old here to get the frames that he stepped on straightened, and unfortunately the frames were damaged beyond repair but the wonderful people that work at this LensCrafters gave us brand new frames for $25 and then offered to replace the scratched lenses for another $25! That's the type of old fashion service that you see when you're a regular and a mom and pop store, not a big corporate chain. Thanks! read more

Do not, and I repeat, do not buy glasses from this scam eyeglass chain store! I unfortunately bought two pairs just over a year ago. I did not buy their warranty because it seems like a rip off and I prefer to pay for my own repairs as they come up. Well, the arm fell off my prescription sunglasses and needed two screws to repair. From the moment I started speaking to the lady behind the counter all I heard was "Do you have your warranty?" No, I will gladly pay for this repair. We don't charge to replace screws if you have your warranty. I don't have one so just charge me. We can't do that and we don't have that screw size. Then please order it. We can't do that, but if you have your Warranty we can take care of it! This is the biggest rip-off establishment ever!! And, by the way, I walked into another eyeglass repair place and they fixed it for me, NO CHARGE! Shame on LensCrafters! read more

When we arrived, Eric greeted us warmly, then went off to repair the brand new prescription RayBan sunglasses my husband got from our optometrist in L.A. they were uneven and the lenses didn't seem put in all the way. Eric was swift at taking care of this, took care of it well, was friendly to us the entire time, and was very knowledgeable about the optometrist and the types of testing they do. We are in town from Boston, MA and found a need to replace my daughter's glasses in a pinch. We arrived right when the shop opened at 10am and was immediately assisted by Eric. (Didn't need to see the Optomistrist as we had our rx emailed in so I can't speak to that experience. ) We were given a quick overlook of the frame selection, pricing and lens options. No pressure sales as we picked out her perfect pair and had them fitted on the spot. Including answering all our questions, looking into our insurance options, the protection plan and explaining the technology behind LC precision equipment, we walked out at 11:30am with our new glasses (which were competitively priced). Came in on a Saturday with Appt at 11:40am. Employees were cordial but not entirely enthusiastic. Pricing is severely inflated (see below) on frames and lenses. Waited 8 min to get helped by front desk. Waited 25 min to get into pre-screening (no one ahead of me, just had no employee to help I guess). Waited an additional 15 min to see doctor. I went to LensCrafters and found some new glasses but I always price match online and sure enough, these particular frames were over 150$ cheaper online (several websites). The frames at LensCrafters were 265$. Online websites averaged 117$. I have insurance, but LensCrafters said my co-Pay and patient cost with lenses would be $367 (WITH INSURANCE). On this website, I only paid $246 with the highest quality lenses and upgrades (WITHOUT INSURANCE). I will submit an out of network request with my insurance once I receive the glasses to hopefully be reimbursed even more but either way, I paid much less online (without my insurance) than if I had used my insurance with LensCrafters. Be a smart, frugal and an informed consumer! Research whatever frames and lenses you find online and you will probably find them much cheaper and with better options! When I told the lady I had found the frames much cheaper online, she told me, "we can offer you 50$ off to have you stay in store today." I will update if my insurance reimburses me for out of network purchase. read more

Over a week ago I made an appt for today online and even a rep called me last night to confirm. Not once did anyone or their website or the email confirmation say that the mall would be closed and I could not get in for my 10:20am appt. I called and called and no answer while walking around the perimeter of the mall trying to get in. I finally get a hold of someone and he says something like you need to go in the loading dock entrance by the gym etc etc. at that point I was so frustrated, I went elsewhere. Don't forget your AAA DISCOUNT on Exams, Frames, & Lenses... Many frames to choose from...designer, discount, sporty, sunglasses too... Also good options for lenses like...Transition lenses (not advisable for people with dark under eye circles as it enhances the darkness), Non-Glare (these rock!!!), etc 1 hour turnaround when you place your eyeglass order... Read my fine print below... ONLY THINGS I DISLIKED, resulting in a loss of 2 Stars: 1. It takes FOREVER to get an Exam & then get fitted & then return for the glasses... We were literally there almost all day...and I was choosing the hubby's glasses while he was in for his exam... 2. The Optical Lab (I just made that up...hope you know what I mean) messed up the order... When the glasses were brought out, I inspected them & found bubbles on the edge of one of the lenses... Sebastian happily skipped them back to the lab (side note: he was so adorable & made this long visit fun for us & encouraged me to look at fun glasses too!) He came back with the glasses shortly & the Lab Guy had shaved down one side of the affected lens... Well, that would have been great BUT it was quite noticeable that it didn't match well with the opposite lens... BOO... Result...we were tired after spending more time there than expected & they were one minute from closing & so, we made a complaint but left since there wasn't a solution presented...
