I've been a patient of Dr. Sun for 15 months - and I've had serious problems the entire time. I've been complaining of vision issues (light sensitivity, glare, halos). I kept telling them I feel like I'm "looking through a dirty window". In my short time there, I've had 3 eye exams and 4 pairs of glasses. In February, Dr. Sun informed me I have cataracts, but they are too small for surgery and not even significant enough to even note on my medical records. My vision problems persisted, so I asked for a referral to a specialist. In about 4 seconds, my new doctor identified very advanced cataracts and scheduled surgery in two weeks time. I'm incredibly upset by the lack of competent treatment I received at Perspective Optometry. My family and I have lost all trust in this practice. Beware of the customer service when you don't buy frames from them. I had a wonderful experience with them 2 year ago so I went back again. However, I brought in my own frames this time and noticed the attitude was different when I picked them up. The customer service from the tech with initial D who helped me was very short, unfriendly and seemed irritated at times as she had to do adjustment a few times. I could tell that she was unhappy help stated that she couldn't really do much for me because I didn't buy the frames from them. She didn't offer any advice at all. My new glasses still don't fit well. The experience this time around was so different than my last time when I spent more money with them. It's so disappointing!! The prescriptions are off. They are a friendly place but they don't do a thorough job and their frames are awful. And when you go in to get things fixed, they are not helpful at all. Don't base your decisions on the reviews. Base it on competence and helpfulness. Thankful I found a better optometrist. read more

Went in to get glasses and they really just wanted to do exam and kept saying you can get prescription and go somewhere else for lenses and frames; didn't show me any frames, didn't act like they wanted to show me frames. Like the twighlight zone. Most places take you around have you try on frames. Waste of time. read more

The woman who had helped me choose was right there but seemed to have been elbowed out of the way by a more senior person. I would never do that with someone less experienced. The Dr is amazing - she is very detailed and explains the entire exam and reasoning of each step. She gave me a perfect new and different prescription. She is five stars! Now into the glasses team. AJ and Sequoia helped me choose the best new cool frames and perfect lenses for my prescription. I'm a hard customer to fit because of my no-nose bridge. But they're always super cool , friendly, and patient with welcoming to my almost every other day visits for adjustment just because of my issues (not theirs). I love how clear I can see! My new hero is AJ at Perspective! My very last left contact ripped and I had to work allday not being able to see properly, I really had a hard day. As soon as I got off, I went to Perspective to see what they could do and AJ not only gave me a left contact but he also gave me the right eye too!! I was not expecting this amazing treatment, I was expecting some kind of run around. I'm not even a true patient of theirs until the 22nd of June but he treated me like I've been a customer for years.
