He showed me the inside of my eyeballs and explained everything going on with my eyesight. He even explained how my medication also helps widen the veins in my eyes to get blood flowing there. We talked about how my vision affects me at work, daily life and what type of lenses suited my needs. Dr. Voster also recommended some eye drops to help with the dryness. He escorted me to another side of the office that was where the glasses were. They have a decent selection. The person that helped me gave me recommendations and broke down costs. Overall it was a great experience, but just an FYI - it was a bit of a sticker shock with the kind of lenses I got. I got the ones where I can see far when driving and have readers for close up. Personally, I should have just got regular glasses and bought some readers separately. Lol I say consider this place as an option. They are truly a great staff with excellent services - and the costs reflect that. That may be a little more than one anticipates. To give u an idea, exam + eyeball thing + frames + lenses... I think it came out to $260 out of pocket. Mind you, my insurance is pretty great. Anyhow. Hope this info helps!

It's all remote until after you check in and have gone through all the tests which is a strange experience in itself. You are taken to multiple rooms where machines are setup and it doesn't feel organized. After all that is done then they disclose the Dr is remote and are you ok with that? Well, by that time what choice do you have?! The contacts took forever to come and get scheduled to be fitted, but what was offsetting was that no one discussed the difference in prescription or anything. I think they don't want to just give you the contact prescription right away, and want to see you for "a fitting", because people would just take it and not come back. They want to sell you contacts. The office is nice when you walk in, but the offices and other waiting room is shabby. In desperate need of a remodel. I won't be back because I felt like it was a mill and there isn't any real customer facing care by the doctors. Not for me.

I never heard such a thing before my whole life and I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years. These people are unprofessional their lab is probably worse than the service people. I would avoid having your glasses done here Even if you have the insurance pay the extra money and go somewhere else you'll be majorly disappointed like I am. I will never have any optical services done at Walmart ever again.

I have a pair of beloved plastic frames that both my optometrist's office and Walmart said could not get new lenses, due to age. I ordered some RayBan frames and took them and my prescription to Affordable Optics. Carla said, "I like the ones you're wearing better." I said "Me too!!!" and told her my tale of woe. She literally said, "Pffffft." They easily put new lenses in the old frames. I have since had two other pairs of glasses made by them--both with vintage frames. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They really should be called Luxury Optics.

I called the clinic directly and Jessi who answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending. Not everyone likes to be sarcastically "honey"! Even after I explained I was not comfortable giving all the information at the call center, and that I would be glad to come in and fill out forms and ID etc after I got there! They don't even have a digital (secure chart like a my chart either! ) ! It's too bad, I'm sure the doctors are good and nice but people like Jessi and the call centers turn potential patients away. I'm going somewhere else.
