Phenomenal! Best optical exam of my 60 years. Dr Blaurock quickly figured out why I've always had trouble seeing out of one eye and have some double vision there as well - something my ophthalmologist could NOT figure out, nor an eye surgeon, nor the other 3 previous optometrists I've seen recently! He said I needed a prism lens since I had a "lazy eye" issue as a kid (55 years ago mind you!) and those eye muscles turned my eye a slightly different way causing blurriness. He was 100% right. Incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful personality to boot. His team is great too - very attentive to every detail. I will be a customer for life. Their selection of designer frames is the by far the best in the Valley as well. Thank you Dr. Blaurock and team for such a positive experience (and cute Prada glasses too)! read more

What didn't go well really fabulous exam my insurance paid for it. My insurance covered a substantial amount of the cost of my glasses, which was fabulous. David's outfits just kill me every time I see him because I'm so envious and Dr is bombproof because he's been doing this for so long so what else can I say when there is a great guy in town go to them! read more

What a wonderful experience! My glasses broke due to a collision with my 50 lb. dog, and David, in the front office, was incredibly helpful. He saved the day! David fixed my glasses to perfection and didn't even charge me. He was an absolute gentlemen. My Maui Jim sunglasses fit better than new. David is a class act. Thank you David and the lovely young lady at the front desk. I will forever appreciate you both and be back. read more

Very helpful, great staff! Lots of choices for glasses! Organized and very easy to look for what you need!

It was beyond time for me to get an eye exam. I'm new to the area, finding a Dr was a bit overwhelming. I'm so glad I made the choice to see Dr. Blaurock. The exam went well! Got new contacts and beautiful new glasses. Can't wait for the follow up. Thank you to everyone at the office for such a great experience! read more

MaryAnn and the rest of the crew were so professional and helped my pick out some really cute frames!

This experience was for me as good as it gets, Such a huge difference from my previous experience at a different optometrist. I loved it from start , the staff and the doctor are top notch wonderfully kind people, the office and the selection of frames was great. The glasses clerk is very knowledgeable and found me a pair of glasses that fit my wide nose bridge and my face perfectly. I walked away so happy and great full that I came here. I highly recommend them and hope they will be around for many years to come. read more

From doctor to staff, EVERYONE is WONDERFUL. They know their stuff AND treated me with kindness and humanity. Often times these days, we the consumer, are treated as a number, or sub-human. Very pleased with our experience. My son is special needs and staff was very helpful and supportive with his exam. Highly recommend!

Now this is what an Optometry office should be, Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was impressed by their Yelp reviews and decided to give the office a try and I'm so glad I did. Dr Blaurock is kind, thorough and informative. His staff is well trained and I can't say enough about Maryann who helped me with my glasses and prescription. Her advice with fit and lenses was such an improvement over my previous optometrists office. I had been struggling with my glasses for a while and she took care of it all. Took my VSP insurance. Can't wait for my two new pairs of glasses to come in! read more

I had what I thought was a very thorough exam with modern equipment. I then ordered glasses though this office. When I tried them on I could not read signs in the parking lot just outside of the office. The vision was so bad I didn't even leave the store with the glasses, and got a refund. I went elsewhere to get glasses and the prescription was fine. However, a year later I tried to make another exam appointment and I found I was "blacklisted" and they would not see me because I would not accept the glasses they made for me the prior year. Had they even tried to figure out what was wrong this may have ended on a better note. However, this treatment is unacceptable. I have never had a new pair of glasses with which I could not see properly in my 70 years, so I'm not really a "picky" or "complainer" type. read more

I am so grateful to Dr. Blaurock and his wonderful team. My son needed a pair of emergency contacts.. he did not have any and he could not see well enough to drive. It just happened there was a cancellation and under the circumstances they were so kind to fit him in. Dr. Blaurock examined him and gave him a pair to wear for the moment. Both Mary Ann and David and superb. Mary Ann helped him to order contacts, choose glasses and she made it such a pleasant experience. They are the best ! Heartfelt thanks. read more

What a great visit. The staff there is phenomenal. Super friendly and help with everything, from scheduling your appointment to the final appointment with your glasses. Dr. Blackrock is the best. My better half needed a new optometrist since we are new to the area. After a yelp search we found this just around the corner from our place. Nice clean office. Love the background music they have. He liked the optometrist & we were in and out pretty half. A gentleman named David helped Dwayne pick out a nice frame and helped him out with everything. We chatted and had a nice time while they were doing their thing. As we were leaving I whispered to Dwayne "Good choice" read more

Ok. The staff is professional and friendly. However, I went back twice with glasses that were not correct. Frustrated with two visits over twelve weeks due to COVID and not having a correct pair of glasses, I went back to my previous optometrist in Palm Springs who did a very thorough exam and changed the prescription just a bit. They determined that the majority of the error was do to my pupil alignment with my progressive lenses. It cost me $700 for new lenses as my insurance was used by Elegant. For me, will not return. read more

Dr. Blaurock, and his staffed were great when I had my eye exam. They are very professional, patient, and kind. WOW!! The day of the appointment, I was greeted by a gentleman named David. David was very professional and cordial. My appointment was at 1030 and David started my pre eye exam at 1030...right on schedule! I then met Dr.B for my exam. Dr. B is the best! So friendly and welcoming and treated me as though we were equals. Best conversation you could have prior to an eye examination. The exam was fast and thorough, and Dr. B answered all my questions. I'm so happy that I stumbled upon Elegant Eye Optometry during my search for an optometrist in the desert! I am new to the area, so I had a hard time finding someone close by that accepted my insurance (VSP) but EEO checked all the boxes! Making an appointment was very easy, and I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. I finally had my appointment today and WOW, everyone was so nice and friendly and the doctor is hilarious! I don't think I've ever laughed so much during an eye exam. They also have a great selection of glasses, and I'm very excited to pick up my new pair when they're ready! Prices are also very reasonable after insurance. read more

Great docs and staff. Always go here for glasses and contacts. Great selection of glasses

Great experience. First time using this office, but they were the only ones able to get me in within a reasonable time (first of the year). It wasn't planned, but I'm staying with them. Clean, fast, professional, and excellent customer service. I just got my glasses Friday (approx 2-3 days earlier than quoted), and I've had no problems after one day of wear. Typically, I have to send my glasses back for any number of reasons. I read more

This was my first visit to Dr. Burlock and the Elegant Eye office. The staff was top of the line and professional in every way. Dr. B is a lovely man who is not in a rush, but is happy to explain in detail about the exam results and choices based on that exam. Dr. B does not push you to purchase glasses at his place, and is happy just to do an examination. However the selection of glasses was great. The technician was equally able and willing to explain about lens coating, tinting, etc. available. This is a well run impressive operation, and I'm looking forward to picking up my new glasses and designer sun glasses when they arrive next week. read more

Love this place! Been going to LensCrafters thinking that was the way to go as I've been brainwashed from all of the advertisements...never again. I was looking for a new Optometrist and based upon the reviews here I gave Dr. Blaurock a try. Boy I am glad I did, he is just as professional and friendly as other reviewers have stated. He didn't try to push or up-sell any product or services and spent a lot of time doing the exam and explaining what he was seeing. If you are looking for a great optometrist, look no further. read more

I have been going here ever since I was 8 years old. Dr.Burlock has always been the best dr. And always treated me very nice and always had a smile on his face! He made me feel welcome and so did his staff, at the time, and so I never had a problem going to the eye doctor. But a few years ago I noticed a change in the way his staff addressed me and the way they spoke to me. They were very short and very snooty and they never called me when my prescriptions were in. And then they would blame it on me, and try to make me feel bad about it. I even asked my mom (who has gone there for over 10 years) if I was overreacting or if she felt the same way. she 100% agreed with me. She said they never call her to let her know her contacts are in, she said you have to call them or you won't get your contacts. I dread calling them and never feel comfortable probably going to be switching eye doctors soon. read more
