These glasses were my favorite glasses I've ever owned and I paid a small fortune for them at a vintage eyeglass shop in LA years ago. What they DID do was somehow find another pair of the exact same Cristian Dior vintage frames on line , bought them for me, and then replaced the lenses . I only paid for the lenses. These frames are in better condition than my last ones ever were . Couldn't be happier and the owners couldn't be kinder . :)

I have been a LensCrafters customer for years, which is why this experience at the LensCrafters…read morelocation in The Shops was particularly frustrating and disappointing. I arrived for an eye exam appointment that had been confirmed weeks in advance, both by email and text. When I checked in, I was told by a male staff member with red hair that no one was there to perform my exam that day. When I explained that the appointment had been confirmed and asked what had happened, his response was essentially, shrug his shoulders and say "no one is here to help you today." When I expressed my frustration with this infromation, he did not care in the slightest. He explained that the online appointment system is unreliable and suggested it was my really my responsibility to call the store directly to make the appointment. What was most disappointing was not simply that the appointment could not be honored. Mistakes and scheduling problems happen. It was the complete lack of concern or effort to help resolve the situation. After giving that explanation, he simply walked away. Another staff member was somewhat more helpful and called the other LensCrafters location for us. We ultimately decided to go to the Desert Crossing location, where we received the professional, courteous service and genuine customer care that I have come to associate with LensCrafters. The contrast between the two locations could not have been clearer. I appreciate the Desert Crossing team for making things right, but after this experience, I will absolutely avoid the LensCrafters location in The Shops going forward. For a long-time customer, being told that a confirmed appointment is essentially not remotely confirmed, followed by "I don't really give a..." indifference when I needed help, is simply not the level of customer service I expect from LensCrafters.

And Dr. Ho stands out as one of the good ones. It was a good experience all around. I had frames that were not very old and then had cataract surgery and wanted to use those old frames. They did not try to upsell me. They gave me what I wanted ; in the time I wanted. And, my prescription is spot on. The only difficulty I had was in making an appointment online. Apparently, they no longer use that form. Call the office directly!

I called multiple times and left several voicemails, but it took about three weeks to get a response from the doctor (via a staff member). When I heard back, I was told to use eye drops and "blink more to rotate the contacts," which felt dismissive given I've worn contacts for over 20 years. I should have been brought in for a re-exam or evaluation after the first concerning call. That was never remotely offered. I paid out of pocket to see another doctor, who suggested the prescription was too strong and not appropriate for my eyes. He shook his head when I showed him the measurements. Very disappointing experience and even poorer follow-up care.
