If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They have it all, from efficiency down to the amazing hospitality. I came in today emotional needing plastic frames and Felix showed me the most amazing customer service I've ever experienced. He attended to my needs and really showed his empathy and compassion for helping people. I waited no more than maybe 15 minutes from the minute I stepped into the door to when the glasses were ready! I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone in need of glasses! read more

I had an excellent experience getting my glasses repaired here. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about what they were doing. They fixed my glasses quickly and made sure everything fit perfectly before I left. What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to help--they treated my small repair like it truly mattered. My glasses feel as good as new, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. The fees/charge fee, kind of high but worth it somewhat. I'm just so happy they fixed my glasses fast and new like. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs fast, reliable, and high-quality glasses repair! #spreading the word to everyone and anyone (family, friends and anyone who needs their glasses fix) Thank you to the owner for being so welcoming and helpful. We appreciate you ! Sharing and spreading the word to my whole family and friend's...Best in the valley! Super loves! read more

I have paralysis of the eyelid and need steel frame glasses, which have a wire extension termed a 'lid crutch', which helps prop up my lid. Making something like this is very difficult and usually done by the optician connected to large hospitals with an ophthalmology department. My first pair were made at OSU Hospital. I brought Felix that pair, made in the late 90s and he had a perfect pair made for me, even better than my old ones! If you have ptosis and need affordable glasses, which not only correct your vision but help you keep your eyes open, come to Felix at Park View. He is OUTSTANDING!! Marjorie W. read more

Gael helped me today and he was really nice. I had to wait a little bit because he had a customer before me, but he took everything in stride and was able to help me with my prescription in very little time. I love the fact that they carry Calzals and Caviar. It's hard to find high-end glasses at most stores. And the owner, Felix is very pleasant to work with. read more

Wow. All I can say is thank you !!!! While visiting my family in the desert from long beach I had misplaced my Ray-ban Prescription glasses that I need in order to drive at night , which is definitely essential for me on a 2 hours + drive that I make back to LB. I had gone to lens crafter to see if they could make me a pair of glasses day of and they didn't have my prescription so I was a bit stressed. Quickly he gave me the business card to Park View optical and told me they should have my prescription and i'd be able to get some glasses by today! I went from PD to Cc asap and explained my situation. They told me they could have them made by Monday, I was a bit sad since I had to go back home Sunday evening, He understood how important it was for me to have my glasses while I night drive and told me not worry and he was going to find a way to get them to me by today ! I was in utter shock and disbelief that he would go out of his way to help a first time customer this much as you don't get this treatment from a doctors! They had a great deal going on with select frames and lenses together for $99.00 , With insurance through an optical doctor I paid over 270 out of pocket for just my lenses. As a 19yr old with a budget , I found some frames I liked and he called me later that day to let me know they were ready for pick up and all my stress was gone about having to search for some new glasses. He fitted them for me perfectly which I have never had a pair of glasses fit so well. Thank you Felix for all of your help. Like you said , You don't get this treatment just anywhere! Thank you for taking care of the community :) I will be back in the future and already told my family ! read more

My wife and I moved to the Valley six months ago but I still have my eye doctor in Long Beach. Just received my new glasses in the mail last week and noticed that they needed a little adjustment. Of course I didn't feel like driving for 5+ hours to do it, so I checked out this awesome place to see if they could help me. Great family owned and run business. They made the adjustments on my glasses in minutes and were very kind and helpful. Even better, they didn't charge me anything! Although I have an eye doctor already, I'm definitely going to suggest this business to my wife for her eyeglasses. They have a HUGE assortment/styles of glasses and like I said, they were super friendly and helpful. Awesome to find a family business that my family can support! read more

My wife has had problems with double vision. She met with an optometrist at Costco. Because she needed several prisms her lenses would need to be made by a specialist. The optometrist recommended going to Parkview optical. They were exceptionally good and were able to deal with her complicated prescription. We had tried to get the same thing done elsewhere, but they were unable to do the lenses properly and the cost was about three times what Parkview optical charges. We have gone back to them several times and they are very professional. If you want your lenses done right then you should go to Parkview optical. read more

I was on vacation with 4 days to go. I broke my glasses and was referred to PVO. Gael walked me through the process quoted me a fair price and got me out the door in 15 minutes. The service was great and I could see again. I highly recommend them. read more

Felix is the best! He cares about his customers and is clearly passionate about his craft.

Excellent service! They were able to make lenses for my glasses in less than an hour!

I will forever be a loyal customer to this guy! He's talented and friendly. I sat on (and crushed!) my NEW prescription sunglasses, I was sick! Figured they were shot and I'd have to spend hundreds of $$$$ to replace them. He had them straightened, arms put back on, lenses put back in, added some new nose pads in about 5 mins! And, they were so straightened that I needed no adjustment! This all cost me $25. He has a small shop, full of new glasses he COULD have tried to sell me but not once was I pressed to do so. I appreciated his honesty. read more

Wonderful people, glasses and service. I have bought two pair of glasses and over three changes of perscriptions.

I'm really glad I found Park View Optical. I had accidentally sat on my glasses and broke the plastic binding that holds the lens in place. After finally finding the perfect pair of sunglasses for our Palm Springs vacation, my husband arrived at the pool with frames that were totally bent. Still not sure how it happened, but I jumped on yelp and the positive reviews lead me here to fix them up. Not only was the woman working there super nice, but she fixed them perfectly. I basically ran across the street to the drug store and by the time I got back she was done. Highly recommend. read more

$10 glasses repair and it took less than 1/2 hour. The staff was very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend their services.

Best Opticians around. I have traveled for years from 29 Palms to use them exclusively for all my eyeglasses. They can do eyeglass work that no box-store (ie Walmart) Opticians can do. Truly the best, do not trust your eyeglasses to anyone else. read more

Good selection, good service very pleased. Poor needs will have no hesitation returning to Parkview.

Hello everyone, after I read the reviews about Parkview optical, I decided to go and get a pair of glasses. WHAT A BIG BIG MISTAKE. I order a pair of glasses on Monday 6/3/24 for 904 dollars. Three weeks later still no glasses. I was told they would be in by the end of the week. Didn't happen. I call the following Monday to see what was up. I was told they would be in after 1 pm or the following day. Didn't happen I call again. Same story. I called again. Same story. By this time, it's been two weeks. Called again. I was told the lab was at fault, the eye lens machine was broken, and it would be a couple more days. Didn't happen. At this point I was very upset and stress out. I went back to Parkview and was told they came in but the lenes were wrong and they had to send them back and they would be in after 1pm or the following day. Once again didn't happen Now I'm really P O and really stress. Now it is going on three weeks and still no glasses. I have never had so much trouble getting a pair of glasses in the 40 years I been wearing glasses. Be warned. This joint is absolutely a nightmare to deal with. At this point I don't want the glasses and I going to seek a refund. The place does not deserve my business after this terrible experience I've been going through. Stay tuned I'll let you know if I get a refund. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bural if that doesn't work maybe a chat with my Attorney will help. I save for months so I could get a good quality pair of glasses. At this point I have no glasses and I don't have the money to go elsewhere. They have really screwed me royally. After this I will never ever to back to Parkview Optical again and will warn all my friend about this horrible experience Thank you. My star rating is minus 100 and then some. read more

Stepped on my Persols & after fretting, I Yelped. The shop is in a strip mall next to Henry's in Cat City- from the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of. Not only did they fix my frames in minutes while I waited, they only charged $15! Highly recommended! read more

I can't believe I have gone this long with broken glasses. Store after store, repair shop after repair shop, to no avail. I finally gave up and stored them in a drawer for 5 years! I heard about this place, so I thought I'd give it a try (not expecting any positive outcome). They not only repaired this one pair, but also adjusted three other pair that eventually made their way into that "drawer". Miracle I tell ya! Thank you, thank you! read more

Felix saved me today! I was far from home, in Cathedral City, and my contact lens ripped. I was unprepared. I didn't have a backup. I searched GPS for the nearest optometrist, Park View Optical came up. I drove there in a panic because I cannot see out of one eye without a contact lens. Walked in winking and explained my situation. I happened to have my prescription with me as I'd planned to call in a refill today. Felix provided excellent service, got me a new contact and was so wonderfully friendly and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PARK VIEW OPTICAL AND FELIX! Thank you so much. read more

Was referred here today by our optometrist's office for same-day glasses for my daughter. The office is in a convenient central location. We were promptly greeted by the friendly and helpful owner and given a wide array of choices which matched my daughter's preferences. The office has a large selection including designer, unusual and very stylish frames! The office is beautifully adorned, smells good and is very welcoming. Best of all, they have a technician on-site so our glasses were ready less than an hour later! We went next door for brunch at Don and Sweet Sue's while we waited. There's also a nail shop next door so you could get a manicure while you wait for your new frames if you want! I would definitely give Park View a perfect five star rating for friendly, helpful service, a beautiful office, and quality glasses! Highly recommend and will refer friends and family here in the future. Thanks again!! read more

I was in town for a bachelorette party wknd so of course I ended up losing my contact lenses! I walked in to Park View Optical on a Saturday morning and was greeted by the owner, Felix.
