I saved up the $90 and came back, only to be told that because it was over 30 days, it's now $140. That was never properly explained upfront. It feels like they look for excuses to tack on extra fees. Instead of showing any understanding, they were snappy and dismissive. Customer service clearly isn't a priority here. Because of those girls in the front office alone, I won't be returning.

As a first-time patient and new customer, I was patiently waiting for the employee assisting another customer so I could discuss my options. However, my experience took a negative turn when Byron approached me. I explained that I had just finished my eye exam and wanted to look at frames and purchase glasses. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt as though I was being rushed out of the store. Byron responded with, "Well, we can fill your prescription here, sure. Do you have any other questions? Do you have any insurance questions?" The way the interaction came across left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was honestly caught off guard and didn't know how to respond, so I decided to leave without purchasing anything. It's unfortunate because the care I received from Dr. Swanson and the other staff members was excellent. Unfortunately, this interaction left a lasting negative impression and overshadowed what otherwise would have been a very positive experience. Had it not been for this interaction, my rating would have been significantly higher. Dr. Swanson and the rest of the staff provided excellent care and professionalism, which makes this experience even more disappointing.

He said I needed a prism lens since I had a "lazy eye" issue as a kid (55 years ago mind you!) and those eye muscles turned my eye a slightly different way causing blurriness. He was 100% right. Incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful personality to boot. His team is great too - very attentive to every detail. I will be a customer for life. Their selection of designer frames is the by far the best in the Valley as well. Thank you Dr. Blaurock and team for such a positive experience (and cute Prada glasses too)!

I've been going to Milauskas for many years. But, I will never use them again due to a recent bad…read moreexperience. Had an exam which went well. I paid the insurance copay before the exam. But, many weeks later I received a text message from Milauskas claiming that I owed more. That's where the trouble began. I called Milauskas but their 'billing' department never picked up the phone-- and I called several times throughout the day. I was finally able to speak to someone who was probably at the front desk. She was unable to explain why the insurance company didn't pay the balance. She did admit that Milauskas was using a new billing company -- which explains why I got the text message. Despite this, I haven't receive an invoice in the mail. Meanwhile, I reached out to the insurance company for clarification. Instead of waiting for the insurance company to settle or resolve the bill Milauskas then sends me another annoying text message about the bill. Suffice this to say, this is very annoying. I am disappointed with this outfits billing practices. If I am responsible for the balance, then I will pay it. Regardless, I will never go to Milauskus again. I am also investigating whether I have legal remedies against Milauskus and their 'billing' company for the unwanted text messages and billing practices. The owners of Milauskus should seriously consider the business and legal implications regarding incidents like this.

Dr. Todd Kelsch is trained and experienced in double vision detection and how to correct it using…read moreeyeglasses. It is the biggest issue with my eyesight. He did an excellent job in evaluating my vision needs. Including pointing out an element of double vision that had not been corrected in my previous eyeglass prescription. There is an amazing amount of state of the art optical equipment in the office. Dr. Kelsch and all of his staff are knowledgeable in how to use the equipment they are assigned to use within their level of training. The staff documented the physical elements of my eyes and Dr. Kelsch did the visual examination to write the prescription for my glasses. Just like medical office staff uses basic equipment like blood pressure cuffs and pulse oximeters to relate basic physical characteristics to the doctor before he examines the patient. The doctor, the front office staff, and all of the employees in the office are extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I have very high confidence in the doctor, the equipment, and all of the staff.

I was always put on hold and sometimes my call was retrieved, sometimes not. * The wait-time to see the doctor was ridiculous~one time I waited for 93 minutes; when I complained, Dr G blamed it on an error~the real reason was overbooking. * I was scheduled for cataract surgery~the night before the surgery, the office manager called me-at PM-telling me I had to pay an additional $175 because I had Lasix surgery 30 years prior! * My vision requires that Prisms be included to prevent a cross-eyed condition; Dr. G mis-diagnosed the prisms, resulting in a second set of glasses. He showed me the inside of my eyeballs and explained everything going on with my eyesight. He even explained how my medication also helps widen the veins in my eyes to get blood flowing there. We talked about how my vision affects me at work, daily life and what type of lenses suited my needs. Dr. Voster also recommended some eye drops to help with the dryness. He escorted me to another side of the office that was where the glasses were. They have a decent selection. The person that helped me gave me recommendations and broke down costs. Overall it was a great experience, but just an FYI - it was a bit of a sticker shock with the kind of lenses I got. I got the ones where I can see far when driving and have readers for close up. Personally, I should have just got regular glasses and bought some readers separately. Lol I say consider this place as an option. They are truly a great staff with excellent services - and the costs reflect that. That may be a little more than one anticipates. To give u an idea, exam + eyeball thing + frames + lenses... I think it came out to $260 out of pocket. Mind you, my insurance is pretty great. Anyhow. Hope this info helps!
