Great experience in a (sadly increasingly rare) family owned practice. As a physician myself, I truly appreciated their personal touch and attention to detail. Strongly recommend. read more

Best ever for my glasses. I'm upset that my insurance changed and I cannot stay with you.

Highly recommend! The staff is friendly, the office is in a great location, and the eye doc is the BEST! They have always been there for us when we needed them. My husband and I loved the selection of glasses and my kids feel comfortable going there as well. We love supporting a family business and this one could not be better! read more

I've been coming here for several years for my annual eye exams. I find the doctor and his staff are always professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Watson's office and I will definitely keep coming back! read more

Be very careful. I chose this optometrist because they took my health insurance (which includes vision). Had eye exam and was handed my prescription and told to go to Walmart for the lens ... I thought this was very strange and had never experienced this before. I got home and verified that my insurance covered the lenses. Yes it did. So I called and was told "we are not contracted with your insurance for lenses just exams". I asked why they didn't tell me that? Sorry, we just didn't. read more

Good optometrist! Louzy front desk staff! I certainly have no complaint about Dr. Kailee Watson. Very professional, thorough and gave me 2 contact lens trial options to make a decision on. However, her front desk staff (one dark haired glum woman in particular whom might be new and need better training) needs an improvement in customer service. It's not the customers job to check the Expiration date on the prescription, but seriously, you have to be sloppy to not check your work and have the Expires date, the same as the Exam date. So I had to drive back (30 minutes of my time) so the young woman who sits at the front could correct her mistake (should say 2023). No apology whatsoever, if she smiled and said hello, I think her face would crack....very glum. I will probably continue to look for another vision doctor with slightly more approachable, professional staff. read more

Absolutely amazing. Dr. K Watson is great and listens to your concerns. Her exams are comprehensive and we are so happy to have found her. We were driving out to Redlands to see an optometrist there for our four year old. So nice to have such a competent professional in the valley. We recommend this business to anyone that needs an optometrist. Super pleased with the service and he front office staff. A+++ read more

I was referred to this doctor after cataract surgery for an eye exam. On my first exam I saw Dr. Kailee. She was very friendly and thorough. My issue was after I picked up my new glasses they were way too strong. I made an appointment to recheck and Saw Dr. Lawrence. He walked in the room, did not say hello just said "what do you need". I need to be able to see out of the glasses I just paid for". Without checking my vision again he said they could change the prescription and that I probably needed trifocals. How would you know without re-examining my eyes. I had the glasses changed to distance only so I could at least wear them to drive. Now I have to go somewhere else to get another eye exam. read more

I have been a client for many years and regularly have an annual full vision check up. The past few days I have been having extreme pressure in my eyes and because of my glaucoma, wanted to have my eye pressure checked as I may be experiencing a serious eye issue. Called the office today to try and get in sometime soon to only check my pressure and was told that I need a referral. What? Isn't glaucoma and pressure check part of my annual visit? I spoke to them twice about this and they would not budge from their stance that I would have to either have to get a primary care referral or wait two months for when my scheduled appointment WAS. Very poor service for a long time client who may be experiencing an urgent eye issue. They have lost 2 customers for good. Or read more

So glad we found these guy's! We were in the market for a new family Eye Doctor, so we scoured the internet/yelp to see what was out there and chose Dr. Watson. From the first phone call, to the first appointment (Which was a matter of 2 days) we were blown away! Dr. Kailee bonded with our daughter (10 yrs old) immediately, and had her comfortably sporting a new pair of contacts in less than an hour! If you're in need of a new OD, or would like a better experience while at the Eye Doctor, I highly recommend this team! read more

Our family of four has been going to Dr. Watson for five years (since before there were two of them). We could not be happier with how we are treated and with the quality of the eye exams and the glasses and contacts we buy. The thing I treasure most, however, is their customer service. It seems like once or twice a year, one of us manages to break or mangle our glasses. We walk into the office, and magic happens. The glasses get fixed (almost always on the spot and always for free). This is the kind of small business my family dealt with when I was a child. It's local and family owned. And they treat their customers like family, too. I guess I might be able to save a few bucks on glasses at a discount or big box store, but I never bother to check because I trust and respect these people. By the way, we've now seen both doctors, and both are great! read more

Dr. Kailee Watson is the best optometrist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is very attentive, professional, but also willing to take the time to know her patients. I am always pulled in early for my appointments and the entire office is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed but instead feel that each individual there cares about my health. The front desk ladies are great with insurance and I have never had a problem with incorrect billing or overcharging. This is a great office full of caring professionals. You will be happy with making this your choice for all of your vision needs. Highly recommend and I am sure you won't be disappointed! read more

Very friendly and welcoming environment at this office. From the moment I made an appointment and during the visit. Dr Watson was very caring and showed a genuine interest to hear my husbands concerns. They were efficient without feeling rushed. We have recommended to our family and highly recommend to all to visit this optometrist. read more

I have been going to Dr. Lawrence Watson for over 15 years. I have never had anything but positive experiences. I recently started seeing Dr. Kailee Watson and can say the same. Kailee also sees my son and I know he is in great hands. The staff is also very welcoming and remembers who you are. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my family's vision. read more

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Watson for almost 20 years - and now his daughter Kailee. Both doctors are extremely thorough and attentive. We have complete trust in their opinions. Dr. Watson office staff, Kailee Watson was so helpful. This office staff is honest, conscious of price and extremely helpful. Besides the excellent staff, they have a wide range of frames for any budget and they helped me get a pair that was modern and completely covered by insurance. They are not a factory like some others in the valley and have a real family feel but very professional and willing. They even called my doctors office to get my prescription which was a problem with the other office but were persistent and obtained it. Dr. Watson office is my new doctor for both my wife and I. My wife had a great experience and recommended me to go see the staff in this office. So relieved and happy to get to know the staff here. read more

I took my son for a contacts and I was more than thankful for the care and attention we received from the office staff and Dr. Watson. I had an appt with Dr. Kailee Watson and loved her. She gave me so much information, and I got her so called lecture on diabetes and eyes, which was so helpful to me, putting diabetes and my eyes into perspective. Dr. Watson described the condition of my eyes in terms I completely understood, and I now get why I have to watch my blood sugar and my diet. During my appointment, I realized she really cared. What a rare and great experience. Thank you. read more

This office not only has an outstanding OD, his staff is excellent. He knows his business, and radiates a caring attitude, which many times is missing in doctors, and has the time to talk to you about your concerns. read more

Best optometrists hands down! They squeezed me in when my son's school sent him home with "possible pink eye". Dr. Kailee Watson was so friendly that my 3 year old actually had fun at the doctor. She was very thorough with her exam and explained everything in a way I could understand. The office was very clean and well laid out. So glad we were able to become patients of this great family optometry practice and glad we didn't make the mistake of taking him to the urgent care for an eye issue. Thank you Dr. Watson! read more

My husband has been seeing Dr. Lawrence Watson since he was a kid. We now go as a family and take our little boy. I can't say enough great things about the whole office. They are all so friendly and we never feel rushed at all while there. They really make you feel so welcome, like family. Dr. Kailee Watson is absolutely amazing with our son who has been going since he was just 6 months old. If you're looking for a great pediatric optometrist she is the one! read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. Watson was beyond rude to me and didn't even bother to introduce himself when he entered the exam room (my first visit). Never spoke with me or looked me in the face even once. After some initial measurements he started putting drops in to dilate my eyes and I asked "Don't you have to test my vision before dilation?" He replied "I can't because you have cataracts in both eyes." THIS IS HOW HE TOLD ME...with his back turned and no explanation, no reassurance...NOTHING. He never once spoke my name or addressed me in anything resembling basic humanity (let alone compassion as a doctor telling someone they need surgery in both eyes). Then he walked out and I only knew my exam was over because one of the office staff came in to escort me out. DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL UNFEELING PERSON. There are plenty of other optometrists out there. read more

My family and I started having our eye exams here back in 2014. Back then everything was great. When my fiance moved to the desert in 2015, I took him to Dr. Watson with the entire family. That's when the problems began. First I was told to the dual insurance information and they would work it out so that I wouldn't have to pay too much out of pocket. They were going to give me a total to pay when the glasses were ready for pickup. I got the call that the glasses were ready, got the amount due and paid it with a credit card. Two months later we received a bill in the mail saying we owed a small amount, I called the office to get that straightened. When I called I was told they would have to look into it and call me back. I never got a call back. When I called back again, the girl that answered the call wanted to argue with me saying there was a call placed because she was there when it happened and a voicemail was left. This was alarming for two reasons, (a) you're calling a cell phone that tracks called placed, received and missed and there weren't any calls or voicemails from this facility. This made me feel like my information was left on someone's voicemail. and (b) I am not about to argue with someone I pay to provide a service for me. I just won't do it. I asked the young to please remove my family any and all communications from this office as we will never return. Fast forward to today, I called requesting the prescriptions for my family so that we can get new glasses from an optometrist in our area and was told the prescription expires after one year. How is that even possible when insurance only covers exams every 24 months for glasses! I asked for the prescription anyway and to please provide the date of the exam. Thinking my new doctor and decide if they want to use that prescription or not seeing as it is only a year old. The person that faxed the prescription wrote over the prescription so you cannot even see what it says. Then I get a call from April saying she wants to schedule my yearly exam. Really?! Did you not read my file and see that I requested that you not call me? Also, when I called for the prescriptions I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't coming back here and I lived in another area. The customer service here sucks! The communication here sucks! Frankly, I think they are just out for your money. To have a prescription that expires in a year when you know insurance only covers exams for glasses every 24 months. read more

I recently went to Dr. Watson's office for my annual eye exam; the staff there is so nice and friendly. They helped me understand my insurance which is very confusing. The girls at the front undoubtedly know their stuff. The Doctor was amazing and extremely thorough. Best eye exam in years. I will definitely be back next year. read more

Let me just start with how much I LOVE DR. WATSON & ASSOCIATES! I have trusted my eyes, and those of my hubby, children and now grand children to them for years and I can't say enough about them. Denise, Julie and the rest of the gals are always so welcoming, attentive, courteous, and professional. Dr. Watson and his daughter Kailey are a phenomenal team who care for our eyes with the utmost importance and care. They are like family and treat mine like they would their own. Real people of integrity! And JULIE is my go-to gal for "the" perfect glasses... because she's that awesome and knows what I like. There is never any guess work about anything; everything from our glasses to our contacts to our insurance coverage and costs are always very well explained. Where do I start my story about how wonderful Dr. Kailee Watson is - and the entire staff at this top-notch facility? I'll begin by saying I moved to Palm Springs a year and half ago. Love it, but had a tough time finding a good optometrist. First one told me off-color jokes during my exam; yes, it's true. Second one kept pushing progressives on me; first pair gave me horrible headaches, they redid, and second pair even worse. Found Dr. Watson on Yelp and - pay dirt! The quality experience starts the second you walk in, when the staff greets you by name with a smile. May not sound revolutionary but, trust me ... it was for me, after my other optometry experiences here in Palm Springs. Then I met Dr. Watson, and here's what I loved: 1) NEVER rushed me; answered all questions patiently and expertly; 2) was wildly knowledgeable on every topic we touched on; 3) had a ready smile and no BS approach. My only regret? That I didn't go to her in the first place. Run, don't walk, to this excellent facility. read more
