I could not get an appointment with out giving all my personal information address, birthdate , Medicare number etc at a call center! I called the clinic directly and Jessi who answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending. Not everyone likes to be sarcastically "honey"! Even after I explained I was not comfortable giving all the information at the call center, and that I would be glad to come in and fill out forms and ID etc after I got there! They don't even have a digital (secure chart like a my chart either! ) ! It's too bad, I'm sure the doctors are good and nice but people like Jessi and the call centers turn potential patients away. I had a appointment at this office in Indio I showed up on time to be told I was at the wrong location I went to the office he recommended and it was closed I received a phone from Melissa from the Indio office she accuse me of not showing up and then she said what part of what I told you yesterday didn't you understand ? I told her I was there on time ! In my 67 years of life I have never been talked to by a doctors office the way Melissa talk to me I will never go to any of there offices in America !! They NEVER answer their phones. Twice I had to drive there because they don't answer. Also the assistants who take measurements and talk/ touch you should introduce themselves. Otherwise it is like a factory. read more

Let's start off on the positive...both Drs were very good and explained things clearly. Total time with the Drs was probably 10-15 minutes. He did diagnose and explain my condition (floaters) and told me what to watch out for in the future. Now on with the rest. My appointment was at 11am. It was after 12noon before I even saw the exam room. The staff was rude, distracted with each other and totally uncaring about the delays. They seemed bothered when approached, hung up on several calls and made light of it. The staff seemed much more concerned about ordering/eating lunch than running an orderly office. And they could have taken time to check out the restroom provided for the patients. It was disgusting. If referred there again, I will decline. No matter how good the Drs are, the poor choice in staff will keep me from going back. read more

This was hands down one of the worst buying experiences I've had. I had an eye exam and ordered 4 pairs of glasses. When the glasses would arrive in store I never got a call and had to rely on just stopping by. With each pair, it would take several tries to get it right. Wrong prescription or wrong glasses. I ordered my glasses in September. One pair took 3 times before it was correct. It took until the end of January to get 3 of the pairs right. I gave up on the 4th pair. I had intended on purchasing two more pairs of sunglasses after the first of the year. And not cheap sunglasses! I was going to order pairs of Versace and Prada sunglasses. In February I reached out to corporate to address the service and lack of apology on their behalf and never heard back. There was no way I was giving Acquity another dollar after that. My husband and children all went somewhere else to get their eye care and glasses. Disappointing because Acquity is right up the street from us. So, all in all Acquity lost out on 4 new customers and the sales of 10 pairs of glasses because they were bad at their jobs and refused to apologize or offer anything more than excuses. And it was ALL of the excuses and not actually doing anything to finally get anything right. And it took almost 5 months to get what I got. Still waiting on the 4th pair. Doubt they even cared that I ordered it. read more

She was very rude and talked down to me and when I told her not to talk to me like that she stormed off and told the receptionist to send me elsewhere! This office is ridiculously slow, my sons apt was at 3:45 and we arrived 20 minutes early. It is now 4:20 35 minutes past our scheduled time and we were told there's still 3 people ahead of us. What is the point of making and appointment and clearing OUR schedule if you're going to see the patient whenever is convenient to you. Something needs to be done. read more

I had a 6 week appointment, stepped into the waiting room, at least 15 people before me at 11 AM. I asked about the wait, vague answers. Lights turned off. I could hardly see the paperwork. A third world experience, although I saw much better doctor's offices in South America, or Asia. Dr. Schultz was rude and impatient. I was a new patient and I never had any eye doctor appointments since I was a child. He needed to check the pressure of my eyes, but he didn't describe what needed to be done. He just started doing it. I was scared because a bright light and an object was coming at my eye. I kept moving and he was sighing loudly and rudely every time I moved. I moved again and he backed again, yelling at his assistant, "She's a jumper. You deal with her!" I have never been so frustrated with an appointment in my life. Never going here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone else. read more

If I could rate them negative stars, I would in a nanosecond. The staff is rude and incompetent. Clearly, that stems from the doctor himself. My appointment was at 3:00 but didn't see the doctor to nearly 4:00. Sitting in the waiting room made me feel like I was in substandard Mexico clinic. The doctor IGNORED the reason for my visit and it seemed he just wanted to put in authorizations for the highest paying procedures. There should be a negative star on Yelp. Because one star is too generous for the front desk or whoever answers the phone call at this office. The woman there must has been trained to be rude to patients or what ? I got a referral from my family doctor and I called there to make an appointment . The woman named Alissa answered the phone and told me that the doctor on vacation until August. But my referral expired at beginning of September . So finally i got a date for the appoinment but I wasn't sure if I could make it cause my work schedule changes every week . She helped me with an attitude of me begging for service at this office . I don't know how good the doctor is but you'd better change your service here. I called back to change my appointment one week ahead and she told me " NO, WE DON'T HAVE ANY AVAILABLE DAY BEFORE , OR AFTER THAT . YOU WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER " ." But my referral expires on Sept ", I answered . " THEN CALL YOUR DOCTOR TO RENEW YOUR REFERRAL " . Then I asked her if she has any time earlier during that day . And a big NO was all I got . Doctor Shultz is one of the best doctors I have ever known. He is very knowledgeable and treats patients with compassion and consideration. He is a honest doctor and it's sad to say but the reality is that many doctors are not honest and only consider their bottom line. Yes the wait is long but it is worth it if you ask me. read more

Wait time is 2 hours with an appointment... ohh and an additional 1 hour wait time once you are called to a room. Horrible service and an abundance of people waiting to be seen at the wait room. Staff was rude! After 2 hours of waiting I asked for an estimated time to be seen and the front desk receptionist responded (without looking at any charts) with "At least another hour or 2". read more

The lady at the front desk was professional and friendly but the staff in the back with the doctor is rude. He sighed when my mom shared with her symptoms and used an angry tone to speak to my mom. The doctor made us feel like an inconvenience and was not friendly at all. Staff and Doctor argued in front of us and made it uncomfortable for us to be there. Needs to learn how to work well with patients. Overall, the experience was poor and the doctor was very rude. read more

I have never waited so long to see a doctor before. My appointment was at 10:45 and it is now 12:34 and I finally got to be placed in a little room, still no doctor. I'll probably see him in another two hours. This doctor has no respect for ppl's time. They need to create a new system for appointments, maybe a text messaging service or first come first served. Had to see an eye doctor on very short notice for a minor injury. Dr. Schultz worked me in, and I was very pleased with his thorough exam, his explanation, his common sense approach. No unnecessary procedures or medications. So glad I found him and will go to him in the future. read more

I have to agree with MorningGlory M ... there should be a minus stars button... I called early this afternoon because I was referred by my insurance company to call them to set up an appointment ... to my knowledge I was calling to make an eye surgery appointment for my son (who is an adult but cannot see do to him having Diabetic Cataracts .. please note that we have seen 2 ompthamologists and a Retina specialist and the next referral was to a surgeon in the past month and a half) A lady by the name of Rosalie answered the phone and advised me that he was a new patient and would have to start the process all over again her next appointment was over a month away, I explained that we had already seen an optamologists and a retina specialist and i just needed to schedule a surgery appointment ... in a very rude tone she said then why are you calling us why don't you go back the Dr Speigel's office and make an appointment with them... i was surprised by how unprofessional she was so i told he i would call the insurance company and let them know what was going on... i called insurance they referred me to retina specialist... the Nice lady there said she would make some calls and call me back... She called me back a few minutes later and advised me that when she called she was spoken to the very same way i was but now they had pushed the appointment out even farther!!! She stated she wouldn't go to that Dr either and said she was gonna make another referral for a different dr... I called back to Schultz eye clinic in regards to the rude service and Rosalie answered again. I asked to speak with the Office manager and to my surprise again she stated she was the office manager so i asked to speak with her higher up and She connected me to a Corrina who waited about 10 minutes to come on the line and right away started talking very fast in a defensive tone ... she was under the impression that i was calling about the date in the appointment ... i asked her to let me explain and she kept cutting me off and talking over me ... and at one point told me "do you really want to be talking to someone who's going to be handling your child's eyes like this ma'am!!!" And she continued to state " no wonder the other office DISSED you!!!, im a professional!!!" Really !!! Since when do they teach you at the schools of Optimology to use the word DISS as a professional word????? She's supposedly gonna have the dr call me ... i guess we shall she how truthful that is!!! read more
