    I was having some tech issues with internet, cable and a landline telephone (yes, I'm old). Today I gathered up all of my dated equipment and headed out to visit Spectrum, ATT & Frontier to see if an in-person visit would work vs calling an 800 number and having any replacement equipment shipped and me dealing with return labels and boxes . Apparently it was my lucky day at Spectrum (but not at the nearby Agua Caliente casino earlier). I entered the store at 5 pm and waited less than 5 minutes. There were four energetic, bright and super helpful staff...all tending to the various customers. But..I think I hit the 'jackpot' with the rep assigned to me. His name was a Steven. He was very knowledgeable and actually listened to my concerns and questions despite my rambling and periodic loss of focus. I have two homes so we took care of replacing two sets of equipment. Without my asking, he marked the various items appropriately AND gave me simple but explicit instructions on what to do when I installed the equipment. I had a great experience...thanks to all the improvements Spectrum has made over the years with regard to customer service AND the awesome human connection I enjoyed with Steven...the ideal employee.

    I would rather have more options. Apparently one of the only services out here in the desert. That's about it.

    Terrible customer service, you will be a victim of fraud. Terrible internet for $90+ a month. Everyone is so rude. Just stay away.

    It was awfull. The guy did not even help me 77 years woman with broken wrist to put a chair. He was not pleasant or patient.

    Monday, September 15th a man named Nicky called me claiming he was assigned my business Verizon…read moreaccount. We set up an appointment to look over my account and see how it could be improved. I met him at the store located at 5001 E. Ramon Rd. He claimed there was a special happening in which Verizon was gifting me a new Modem that was faster then the one I had and I would only be responsible to pay for the sales tax. I believed him even though I did not need a new modem. He did fix a few issues with my phone and I trusted him. It was a SCAM! I have been attempting to get hold of him for months. I have called Verizon customer service repeatedly without any success. I am being billed monthly for a device that has a payoff figure of $388 that I only agreed to because it was suppose to improve my speed (which is does not) and was FREE! This is how you lose a customer whom has been with your company for over 6 years. If you are a business owner and fell for this same scam, please reach out to me. I will be seeking a class action lawsuit against Verizon. Spectrum, each year, has come to my store asking me to switch. They have offered me some really good deals and each time I have been loyal to Verizon. I am so disgusted and saddened by what you did Nicky. I hope the "commission" was worth a long term customer.

Confusing, and generally incomprehensible procedures (to mere mortals like me!) were required to make all the changes, preserve all information, Apps etc. Far beyond my abilities! It was with great trepidation that I entered the AT&T store at 2465 E. Palm Canyon, in the Smoke Tree Commons shopping center. The store was Iike most other AT&T stores I have been to, except for the relaxed, unhurried and welcoming environment. We were greeted by Lisa, who, when told what my wife's goals were, immediately set to work making them come true! She was a master of the arcane arts, and not only quickly and efficiently made all the changes, but actually gave suggestions that improved on our original goals. We were very impressed by Lisa's skills, knowledge, and professionalism!

    When I went there, the place was empty except one customer being helped, and 3 salesmen on their…read morephones. No one came over to ask if I needed help, so I sat and waited. After 20", I asked one of the guys if I could get some help and he said he was off the clock and someone else would help me in a minute. The attitude of the guy that finally came over and 'helped' me was so incredibly rude. Maybe if I'd been young and cute,, he would've helped me instead of letting me sit in an empty store for 30" before coming over. I was given an iPhone 15, that was bought at that store, I had the receipt, and I needed some help transferring over from my old phone. He told me I had to contact Apple, and actually said he had no way of knowing if I stole it. I'll never return there.

First I tried cancelling online through the chat but was told I had to call. It took over 20 minutes for a rep to answer and towards the end of the call, he indicated there would be a $50 restocking fee. Nowhere did it ever list a restocking fee when I signed up. When I moved here from my previous address, I was able to cancel Spectrum easily without any issues at all. I used to hate Spectrum but compared to Frontier, they are friggin angels.

Installation was going to be in one week during an appointment on Friday. On Tuesday of the week, a guy stopped by to get into the backyard and run cable. On Wednesday, at 6:30am, another installer knocked and began digging a ditch for the line. Wasn't even nice about it. On Thursday, yet another unexpected visit from dig alert, but Frontier had already dug a shallow trench. So, he left. On Friday, the day of install, nobody showed up. Nobody called. So, I stayed with my current internet provider. A week later I got a voicemail that they were ready to install. They had zero respect for my time, just dropping in to work without notice. And, they stood me up for the appointment. I wondered if I should reconsider Frontier. UNTIL, once again, Frontier knocks on my door. They literally knocked on the "No Soliciting" sign. I have to buy gates now, it seems.
