Purchased a truck with warrantee roughly a year ago for a total of 23k went back to the dealership numerous times with check engine codes and several other problems within 30 days continuing out for 3 months they did whatever they could to get me to keep from bringing the truck elsewhere for service during this time ... engine light never repaired over course or 3 or 4 visits other repairs on truck were Mickey moused come to find out their were after market parts installed on the vehicle that caused 8000 dollars worth of damage 3 months after purchase repairs not covered by warrantee due to aftermarket parts direct refused to do anything about the problem even though I had went back with it numerous times with the same problem ... service did not recorded the check engine light every time so I could not fight in court BUYER BEWARE will never recommend to anybody read more

I went here with my son to purchase his first truck. We drove a GMC. Communication wasn't great but I understand sales people are busy. When we asked for $500 off for a truck bed liner since there was rust and exposed nails from the previous owner, they wouldn't budge. I have owned several cars over my years of driving as a result I have many years of experiences at various dealerships.. my experience at this dealer was "HORRIBLE".. it started by a lack of organization and structure this business has when I first walked it it took more than 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me which I believe is one of the most basic things any business can do to give a customer a good feel. I took it upon myself to sit around and research what cars were on the lot and I've identified 5 cars that may be a good fit for my wife ,after waiting for at least 30 minutes I was then acknowledged by Guto which was very presentable and had a great disposition and felt that he "genuinely" wanted to help. We proceeded to test drive a few vehicles after further consideration I've determined that the Nissan Murano would be a good fit for my wife. I have made it very clear to my sales rep that I can either be a cash buyer or I can finance buyer whichever gives me the best outcome. The desired vehicle was listed for 20,500.00 I've asked for 500.00 to be removed based on my research on a fair price as I've identified other similar vehicles within a 50 mile search which was lower or had similar mileage with all things being equal. Guto indicated that he will try and see what his manager can do. The manager focused on payments which clearly provided me an indication that he was not focusing on my objective but his agenda which I find "absurd" after a brief discussion he said okay we have a deal , I said okay now that we agree to a price I also would like to know what we can do with regards to the extended warranty .. I then was introduced to a "finance" guy which I found incompetent which couldn't provide me the basics of the third party company in terms of years of business,credit rating, deductible , scope of coverage.. quite frankly I was surprised and taking back that he couldn't even look me in my eyes .. which I find unprofessional!! At some point I felt he was intimidated with my basic inquiries and decided to abruptly leave the table... In closing, I felt that this business needs management training,also work on "listening to the client needs and not there own agenda.... This has been the worst experience my husband and I have ever had buying a car. We have bought, traded, and sold 26 cars since my husband was 15 (he's 33 now) and never ONCE has he been given the run around, blatantly lied to and misled, struggled with communication, and had such trouble simply registering a vehicle out of state. We are told one thing and then told "we'll get back to you", which doesn't happen, so my husband will call to follow up and then get different information. There are too many hands in the pot, everyone has to "ask their boss" before doing ANYTHING, and for being a neighboring state to New York, they and their finance department have NO IDEA what they are doing or how to register a vehicle. My husband offered to do it himself no problem since we've done it so many times before, but they insisted they must do it themselves because it was their bank financing the vehicle. He STILL had to walk THEM through the process, it STILL took them TWO WEEKS, they STILL made mistakes and are trying to make us pay for them, and we STILL don't have possession of our vehicle even though we have financed it and insured it for 2 weeks now IN ADDITION to having to pay for and insure the vehicle we are trading in. PLEASE save yourself the hassle of working with this business. Weeks of phone calls, chasing MULTIPLE people down for information and updates, and sheer incompetence are the only things you'll find upon entering into a deal. read more

I personally did not purchase a vehicle from the dealership and I'm more than glad I didn't. My boyfriend found the perfect truck for him from here and Edwin was great help along the way. As for when we came to pick it up is a complete different story. Chris was the employee "helping" us. He was completely rude and unprofessional. He had told my boyfriend he could pick up the truck at 11 am. When we got there at 10:50 am he denied ever saying that and threatened to listen back to the phone lines. We put up with his crap for about 30/40 minutes of back and fourth finding every excuse on why the truck was not ready before I lost my cool. At first I was polite on asking why it wasn't ready a full week later, on the scheduled pick up time. He began his excuses again, that is when I had to cut him off and mention that my boyfriend had already signed the contract and the truck is technically his. I also mentioned we did not need the car wash as that was an excuse on not being ready. The rudeness got worse. That is when I brought back up the fact he could listen to the phone lines and he said "what's the use at this point". The use is to catch you in a lie...my blood was boiling at this point. He said he would call to "find where the truck was" I THOUGHT IT WAS GETTING WASHED? All in all this place is unprofessional and policy of pick up NEEDS to be changed. There is NO reason it should take that long to be picked up. If there is a real reason on why it needs to take as long as it does I would feel better about this. But there is something sketchy on why it does. **SINFUL** 40K 2014 LEXUS PURCHASED W/ UNDISCLOSED ACCIDENT HISTORY. I guess you can say I am this type of dealerships favorite customer: a nieve female who thought she could handle making an extremely expensive car purchase. Well, needless to say it's been 6 months down the road and I was in a terrible accident on the highway. The Certified Lexus Autobody who is doing my repairs called to give me a heads up on the progress, only to ask me if I was aware that my car had extensive prior history of being in an accident?.......... Mmmm nope, had no idea. Then they proceed to assume that I didn't purchase the vehicle from Lexus....... right again. Then I'm told about the hack job of repairs and tons of AUTOBOND that is seen throughout the entire left side of my car and existing areas of framework damage that were left untouched. Are you kidding me?????????? I will never, I repeat NEVER go to this "BUSINESS" again! When I was looking at this vehicle the gentleman showing me the car said "this brand new 2014 LEXUS IS250 F SPORT and its the top of the line...... in fact, this was the owner's car but he decided to upgrade to a 350 instead." I was told he was the ONLY OWNER of the vehicle. Then he proceeds to show me a CAR FAX with NO ACCIDENT HISTORY AND ELABORATES UPON THE FACT ITS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. Shame on me, I SHOULD have known better when the navigation wasn't hooked up......... I was told that the dealership is in a bad neighborhood so they disconnect it because they are stolen from so frequently. THAT should have been my red flag there. BEWARE! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALER! I gave them a 1 because 0 isn't available. I have purchased over 20 vehicles in my life. Purchasing a vehicle should be a rewarding experience. They are the most despicable bunch of people I've ever met! Not with Direct Auto Mall. Once they get your money they will promise you anything and deliver nothing. A large bell should have went off from the beginning. After my purchase i called to talk to the salesperson that I bought the truck from. I was told he was told he was with a customer and he would call me back in a few minutes. 3 hours later I called again. This time I was told he was on the phone and he would call me right back. I demanded to talk to the General Manager. After a long hold I was then told that the salesperson I was looking for had that day off. So, the first 2 times I guess they were just lying to me to shut me up hoping I wouldn't call back. When i talked to the General Manager (another piece of work) he made all kinds of excuses for the operator. Non of which i believed. I traded in my old vehicle and was purchasing a $30,000 truck. I told them i was also going to put down $10,000 in cash. I told the finance manager that i would be back in the morning with a bank check. That wasn't good enough. He actually had the salesperson follow me to my bank, which is over 30 miles away, to make sure they got the check right away. That should have been my first warning. After I took the truck home I noticed a vibration when the brakes were applied. I knew it needed a brake job. I brought bit back and they agreed. I told them that i was willing to pay extra for the best rotors and pads. I told them I didn't want them putting junk parts in my truck. They told me not to worry there would be no extra charge. about 2 weeks after they did the "brake job", I noticed that the vibration was back. I took it to my mechanic because I couldn't trust them to tell me the truth. The truth being that all they did was put in the cheapest break pads they could find. I Think they were hoping they would last long enough for the warrantee to expire. I had to pay Over $500 to have all 4 rotors changed and 4 new brake pads. That's just the beginning. When I purchased my truck, I wanted to switch tires with my old truck which had Bridgestone tires on it that were only a couple months old. I had paid $900 for those tires. The service manager said tat the tires that are on the new truck, which were Yokohamas, were better than what i had and that they were "brand new'. What I found out was that the Yokohama tires, although they looked brand new, were anything but. They were all dry rot between the treads. When I went back with this information, they agreed that they were dry rotted. Then they tried to blow me off saying that the tires passed inspection so they were fine. I argued (rather loudly I might add) that I was told that these tires were brand new! After going back and forth for about a half hour, they agreed to reimburse for the tires. What they came up with was $81 per tire. I asked where the hell I was suppose to buy 20" tires for $81? They said take it or leave it! So, I spent almost $1,000 for 4 tires and they gave me $324. The General Manager, some guy by the name of Dan, is another story. At the time of purchase I had ordered rain guards, a bug shield and a bed cover. After 3 weeks I was told the bug shield was in. When I got there (a 30 mile drive) there was no bug shield. When I went to Dan and told him what was going on. we went to talk to the service manager. What Dan said was "From white guy to white guy to white guy can we see that this gets done?" What a racist statement for a General Manager to say. If I had the authority I would have fired him on the spot! Do yourself a favor. If you are in the market for a used vehicle, stay as far away from these people as you can. read more

If I could leave 0 stars i would. I Should have known when I was pressured by my salesman to leave a 5* review before I had even finished the paperwork or picked up the car. The night I went home I realized that instead of the $600 we agreed upon for my trade in, I was only given $550. Not to much money, but also extremely shady. Not to mention my trade in was going to be worth $700 before I was told i could pay $100 to sign up with wells Fargo and get a lower financing rate (I've still yet to fact check that one) I had called the manager Rafael that night and was told it was a "miscommunication" that wells Fargo actually charged me $150 instead of $100 (again, I never fact checked) I informed the manager it wasn't my problem and to refund me my $50. He told me it was no problem and he'd refund me when I came to pick up the car... Of course when I came to pick up the car he wasn't there, so now still $50 short, I had my first issue. Fast forward again to the next Wednesday (11/21) I went to get my car inspected (apparently they don't do that for you) and was informed by the mechanic that my car had still not been registered. After numerous phone calls to direct auto mall it was sorted out and I was then able to inspect my car after I had been driving around illegally for a day. That was my second issue. Now fast forward AGAIN to 12/02.. three weeks before Christmas and I look at my account only to find out my old car loan still had not been paid off, and another payment was taken out 22 DAYS LATER!!! That was the third issue. After much arguing with the salesman and manager of the company I finally got them to agree to cut me a check which I still have not received. I finally spoke to the manager Rafael today who informed me they would be paying me $50 less than what they owe me (the money they shorted me becomes more than $50 after my loan term and interest rate). That was my fourth issue. ****BUYERS BEWARE***** I do fortunately love my car, but the hassle and unprofessionalism that I have dealt with and still continue to deal with is unacceptable. Bought a 2015 tundra limited DC from here .My sales person Anna was very nice and I had a very positive experience with her ...until when I went to pick it up and had to deal with the manager . It was damaged on both rear quarter panels . I took pictures the day I bought it with no damage. they denied damaging the vehicle and claimed the deep scratches were there . Even after proving they were responsible the sales manager told me he could only fix one side and I would have to pay for the other because" we didn't make that much money on the sale "!? I brought the truck back to be fixed and their body shop did an AWFULL job , now I have a 50,000$ truck that is scratched down one side and two different colors on the other side . they gave me a loaner car of a Toyota corolla which shook violently in the front end and smelled like something had died under the front seat . Now I bring it back to get fixed a second time and they scheduled it for an early morning so I could get it back by that night . they didn't even call me that day and by the time I called the service department was closed . now I am without a truck again waiting to hear from someone. read more

This is my first YELP review. I was compelled to write one in regards to this business. I am 60 years old and have bought cars, boats, motorcycles and homes and have always been treated as a valuable customer. In turn, I have treated those individuals dealing with me the same respect. This dealership does not deserve anyone entering its doors to give it the dignity that the luxury automobiles in its lot commands. I understand that sometimes miscommunication occurs. In those times, I expect as the customer a certain level of compromise between the two parties. I sat across from their manager with a bank check and a certified check in their name for one of their vehicles. Due to a disagreement in paperwork, we were requested to come back the following day. I asked, as a gentleman if he could hold the car until our return. After contacting the owner, I was told that this would not be possible. Direct Auto Mall is a "first come first serve business." In addition, we disagreed about why the car would not available for pickup for at least for 7 days after receiving 100% of the funds required. PLEASE read all the other reviews. There is something wrong here. After a heated conversation over the phone, the salesman ended it in stating "you are an incompetent asshole". Ummmm... I have had many confrontations during negotiations and deals gone wrong but really? They certainly know how to make your blood boil. The response he received wasn't very polite either. No one called today to discuss if they could iron out the problems. Hope they sold that vehicle. They switch and bait you. 1 person promises 1 thing knowing it will never happen. The next one tries to play a different hand. I waited to write this review until after the fact to properly gauge them... so: bought a jeep. Dealer NEVER cleaned it and refused to detail it or pay for it. We caught them taking on 4,000 to the back of our loan as well. Afterwich to have it removed it took 2 months and Wells Fargo to 3 way call their manager who dodged both of us for weeks. They treated me like shit. After we bought the car we brought it to the jeep dealership. Long story short this vehicle was an auction that was crashed and never reported and then fixed in a sketchy shop and sold to us. We called the previous owner who's Information was left in the vehicles computer. . . Now we are finding other serious problems and working on picking up a lawyer and delivering this vehicle back to the dealer legally and are after a full refund. Shocked and appalled this place is still in business. Angie was absolutely terrible, she dropped the ball more than once and also downgraded us. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. This is your worst nightmare. The second we purchased the business treated us like shit. And it was a fight with them to replace the leaking transmission cooler line that was damaged and basically proved to us they never even looked at the vehicle when they put it on the lot. If I could give this place a 0 I could. Worst experience I have ever been through. My husband and I went there to purchase a vehicle, but unfortunately it didn't work out. I provided them with my personal information and asked to not run any credit because we weren't sure if we were going to go with the vehicle. We decided not to go with the vehicle and went else-where. When I went to pull my credit at another dealer, they told me that I had an inquiry from Direct Auto. I was very upset and gave them a call. I spoke to Luis Alves which was our salesmen and while speaking to him, he hung up the phone on my face. He confessed that he did pull my credit while I gave him no permission to do so. He was very rude and told me my husband apparently gave him the authorization to run my credit. THIS IS A LIE and no documentation proved this. I was transferred several times and finally spoke to a finance manager named Vinny. He was also not helpful and basically told me there was nothing he could do. I wish I could give zero stars. Everything was good until I was suppose to get the car. I took the morning off work to meet the runner at the registry. I called several times the day prior to get an approx time and what registry(I'm in RI) no one had any answers for me. Called the day I was suppose to pick up vehicle. No one new anything about me meeting the runner at the registry to swap plates, the car still needed to be detailed. Then I was told he was going to register it and get new plates (apparently they didn't remember we were swapping out plates) so no phone call all day. Finally I call back (4 hours later) and was told he is not registering the car because then I won't be able to drive this car (duh, that is what I was telling them the whole time) So now I'm actually still waiting on the car I bought last week and was suppose to get yesterday. Went in looking to trade my relatively new car for an SUV. I wanted to receive a trade in value for my car so I handed over the keys. What I got was someone taking my car for a joyride around the block picking up people along the way? Not entirely sure why my car was driven off the lot without my permission to began with( I have a dash cam and watched the video after I saw my car had been moved). I have never been anywhere that had any type of precedure like this, and honestly feel violated. The funny part was I asked to take a test drive of their car without the sales person with me for personal preference and she said no right away, but they drive mine by themselves without me. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE - I wish I had the option to leave 0 stars. I bought a car here in mid-July because it was the only local place that had the specific make/model I needed and I had 2 weeks to get a replacement vehicle. Besides from offering me 1/4 the price for my trade in, not one other thing they told me was true. For financing, they told me it was illegal in MA to charge a refinancing fee and that I could sign with them and take the loan to anywhere I wanted tomorrow. Guess what? Took the loan to my bank, my bank said there were fees and it wasn't in my best interest to transfer. While on a test drive, the sales rep (Angie) claimed an expensive feature of the car (auto stop/start) was present, but just not turned on at the moment. When I came to pick up the vehicle, I asked Angie how to turn the feature on - turns out the feature wasn't in the car. I was furious, so Angie and her boss Addler offered me 3 free oil changes (worth apx. ~$60 and one is included with all new cars vs the thousands of dollars the feature is worth), were supposed to work with management to see what they could do to make up for it and call me the next day. They never called. I called them. They were not present to talk. Angie called me a few days later to check on how things were going. I said I was still waiting for their offer to make things right. Asked why I wasn't called back. She said she never received my call (guess she forgot she was supposed to call me back). She said she would check on it for me and call me back. I've called, no response; its now October and I'm still waiting for that call back. Also as part of financing, I purchased the extended warranty. I was told there was a $200 dedcutible, but if I brought my car in there to be serviced, this was waived. I brought my car in for the first time last week for an issue. I was told they stopped that policy and now I have to pay the $200 deductible. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told I could not. I asked when that policy went into effect. The date the service manager gave was PRIOR to the date I bought my car. Ironically, Angie called me a few days later to "check in". I reminded her I was still waiting for her first call back. And now I had a new issue with the warranty. Also mentioned I called her back, and no response. Once again, Angie states she never got my call. Once again, I guess she forgot about her commitment to call me back the first 2 times. Angie then says she'll look into these and get back to me on Monday (10/17). I'll give you a hint of what happened next. Its now 10/18, and no call back. I see that Andri or Greg S responds to post of these postings saying 'we are working to make things right' etc - so Andri or Greg S - I am asking 2 responsible things, as I have gotten no where with Angie or Addler - I am asking you honor the warranty you sold me and waive the $200 deductible for all services done at your facility for the length of the warranty and provide a service voucher or refund equal to the value of the auto stop/start feature. read more

Trying to summarize the experience, after 2 attempts to test drive the vehicle I was looking, I got to see it on the 3rd attempt. Moving forward, the trade offer came extremely low, but that is actually understandable as their prices are also good. Now delivery: this is where they blew it, it took over a week (I have never before leave a dealership in my old car), they send the wrong info to the insurance (stating new car instead of trade), took them 4 days to submit the application to the bank, I had to actually drive to the bank a no talk there to get it approved as it got stuck. Finally got the car delivered. Post delivery: even that they stated that they had just done a mechanical inspection and oil change I took the car to a certified service, thru found an oil leak, replaced the faulty parts under warranty. Also with the bank, as they took so long for delivery and processing I had continued to pay the loan on the old car, as when they would submit the payoff it would end in a credit from the bank to me, instead of paying the amount stated in the contract they requested a new payoff and paid the new lower amount. It took me to call them and ask for a refund on the difference, which I'm waiting to see that it arrives. read more

I am an out of town buyer and attempted to purchase a truck that I saw at Direct Auto Mall on the internet. If I could give a zero to this dealership I would. The truck was on auto trader for an internet price of $37,000. I contacted the dealership and gave them an offer on the truck. The sales person stated that she would give that offer to management. After a few days and an email that I sent no response. The sales person eventually did get back to me and stated that she had been sick and not in to work. During that time the internet price on the truck was raised to $38,000. The sale person in an email said that I could purchase the truck for the original price of $37,000 plus their dealer fees of $695.00. I agreed to that price then the games started to play and a few conversations with sales people and alleged sales managers the price was now $38,695. After some texts it was now $38,195. The original offer in an email to me was $37,695. The sales people played it off as an honest mistake and finally offered me the vehicle for $37,695 which I now refused. I don't take kindly to being manipulated to pay a higher price. I would recommend if you are a buyer to beware of this business. I have seen and read the other negative yelp reviews of this business and I can believe what they say is true especially being an out of state buyer. I would not purchase a vehicle from this business. Again BUYER BEWARE. read more
