Both the owner and the junior guy inspected my car. The junior guy showed me the comps. I asked if could go higher based on the data points. He said it was out of his control and he needed to ask the owner who was helping a couple at the time. The owner (think his name is Charles) proceeded to scream at me that the offer is the offer, essentially a take it or leave it. Very confusing and rude. However, the owner is a real salesman, in a back slapping kind of way, and either tells you that he'll find the car you need, or try to sell you an existing car on the lot. In my case, I described what I was looking for and he happened to be headed to an auction the following day. When I looked at the car, none of the tires matched, it didn't track right during the test drive, and the engine had a knock. There were various other issues, all of which he said he could fix if I decided to buy the car. I was left with the impression that this car, which was described as perfect, would end up costing me a lot more once he started servicing the vehicle. It seemed really sketchy and I couldn't accept that he'd 'take care of me' after I bought the car which had obvious problems.

The problem is, they do not account for the flaws in their pricing and do not fix them before selling. Prior to selling a friend a Subaru they promised to have the vehicle ready to roll with no safety or mechanical defects. We noticed that there was water in the headlight - something that should have been addressed before it went onto the lot. We had the car examined by another mechanic who said that the transmission needed replacement. After a bit of prodding Royal's owner agreed to install a new transmission. They spent about 12 days working on the car before telling us it was ready. Upon receiving it we found that they had not installed a new transmission but had taken a rebuilt one and slapped it in, covering it with paint and a layer of silicone to make it look new. In a nutshell that's all you need to know about Royal Used Car Sales. Stay away!

Other automobile shops sent me an estimated invoice of over $5,000 for the AC alone and could not promise the problem to be fixed. WIth Sarris, less than half of the budget and all the problems fixed beautifully. Mr. And Mr. Sarris are genuine people who actually care about others. From several in person visits, I built a personal friendship with them. The guys that work there, Johnson and Andy are also genuine and bright people. They truly give you this feeling that you are welcomed and accepted there and they always find solution for you. I wasted thousands of dollars on my car until I met Sarris. Take this as a good suggestion, bring your car to Sarris if you need any help!

They are super fair, reliable and have not forced any unnecessary services onto me. They even sent me to Herb Chambers (which I really dislike) when a catalytic converter was broken. They told me that Mercedes extended the warranty on many of them, but of course won't tell their customers until they bring in the car. So unless Peter (the boss I think) had told me, I would not have known and probably paid for a new catalytic converter my self into their pocket. WOW - A trustworthy car repair shop.

Was very happy with the whole process. On average, cars on their lot were at least $1,000 less than the dealerships I went to. I didn't feel like I needed to haggle, because price seemed very reasonable. Before I picked up the car, they had a mechanic change the oil. Mechanic suggested four new tires, and Malden put four new tires on for free. I can't recommend these guys enough, and I've bought many used cars over the years.

What stands out about Land Rover Boston is how they treat everyone who walks through the door. In 2026, great customer service is hard to find, but this team is always on top notch. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, and at least four people from techs to managers came over to make sure I had been helped and to see if I needed anything. Everyone, from the service techs to management, is great. The woman at the front desk is always a pleasure to see as well. Truth be told I couldn't even get a salesperson to say hello at Land Rover Norwood. On my first visit, I came in as a walk-in while Ahmed was with another client. Johnny, the GM, immediately stepped in to help. He introduced himself, but not as the GM he simply saw Ahmed was busy and jumped right in. That level of leadership and customer service is not normal for a GM. Grateful for another purchase from Ahmed and the Land Rover Boston team.

Great guys and their process was streamlined & easy. Details of my stellar experience: Firstly, they answered my emails immediately. I figured they may go into a black hole as dealers may use the phone more but the opposite happened. Every question or concern was addressed quickly; I never waited around for an answer. Secondly, they were extremely welcoming and let me try out about 5-6 different cars in one afternoon (rapid fire.. one after another). I had a feeling my car was on the lot but wasn't sure which one would be "it". They let me test the cars out and make my own determination. I even remember them pointing me to a lower priced car over a more expensive one when I was making my final decision. When I found the car I loved, I drove it twice that day. On the second drive, I remembered I had a work call to take and they let me sit in their office at their desk and take my call w my headphones and laptop. No judgment at all that I lost track of time. They were extremely accommodating but in a very relaxed way. I am lucky they knew to buy this car from the auction because somehow I got a car that drives brand new for $6995! The car is old but it's almost impossible to tell. I've been showing it off for 2 weeks and asking friends an family what year it is. They all thought it was 8-10 years newer. Thirdly, once I picked the car they were quick with the paperwork but patient with me getting all the loan details sorted out. They even advocated that I go with my own credit union over any banks they had relationships with. They didn't even ask me for a deposit which was surprising but it helped build trust between us; they new I would come through with the check. I didn't even try to negotiate because I knew the car was priced right and I felt very comfortable that I was getting a great deal. Love the car & so glad they saw this gem and picked it up! It drives amazing & they even put in a new battery right before I got it. PS - I used to own a 2015 ILX and I can hardly tell the difference with this 2004 TSX. It's like I got the same car for half the price! I'm still shocked. :)
