It had traveled across several states, so that's understandable. I didn't notice any damage when I met the shipper to pick it up. I immediately went to the car wash to rinse it off, and that's when I saw that the front bumper was damaged. I notified the dealership once I got home....that same day, not 2 days later like the owner is saying. I have photos, call logs, and emails showing the date. The dealership stated it wasn't like that when it left, so they called the shipper. Of course, they say they didn't do it either, so now I am stuck with a car that was supposed to be in perfect condition, that was delivered with a damaged front bumper. The owner of the dealership told me to buy touch up paint or file it on my insurance. I still have the email where he told me this. He acted like I was overreacting. I think not. I didn't agree to buy a damaged car. I don't know if the dealership or the shipper damaged the car, but someone needs to take responsibility for the damage. Update: The car was delivered on May 31st. I STILL have not received the title, so I can register the car in Texas. I've had 2 buy 2 30 day tags so far. That's about $62. It's the only way I can legally drive the car. The dealership is in Massachusetts, but when I called the dmv, they found out the car is titled in Connecticut, so now I'm having to pay to get a duplicate title sent to me from them. NEVER AGAIN!

Everything was expertly addressed in a few hours and the experience was completely hassle free. I had my chill dog with me and the waiting area felt a bit compact, so we took a walk. There is a public bike path, a bridge over the Charles, a shaded park/reservation area, dog park, and shops and restaurants all within a relaxing 10-20 minute walk. If you own an Alfa in New England, 10/10 this is the dealership to go to. Perfect experience. Lots of fun things to do nearby Cambridge/downtown Boston if you want to make a couple days trip of it!! Ok... so next week, I bring it back, he keeps it for two days, and fixes only part of one problem... and did a bad job of it. This went on FOR WEEKS, taking it back to him, picking it up with the problems not fixed. The bottom line is, he never fixed the problems, and in the end refused to fix them, despite me having it IN WRITING that he would. He kept saying to me "But if I fix that, I won't make a profit on this car!" Why do you think I care about your profit? You shouldn't have agreed to fix the problems when you sold me the car if you weren't going to do it! But I just don't have then energy to take him to court, so whatever. Some of the issues I had with the car were with the tires, and the owner replaced them with new ones soon after I picked up the car from the lot. And that too without getting it in writing (I'm new at this whole buying a car thing, its my first one) My only issue is that the car was not washed /cleaned when they said they would take care of it, but I am just nitpicking. Saving close to 3000$ on retail doesnt compare to spending 20$ at a carwash. In addition, they managed to find me really cheap insurance which is remarkable since I have 3 points on my record. Also, they found me a really good credit rate at 6.99% which is great considering I recently joined the workforce & am still building my credit.
