I've always wanted a MINI, just for the simple fact that I think they're absolutely ADORABLE! I decided to make an appointment to test drive the 2025 Countryman. It's gorgeous in person & it's completely remodeled from the previous years. Updated touch screen, panoramic moon roof, heads up display, wireless charging, heated front seats, parking assist, heated steering, & remote start all included in the base model! I test drove the melting silver III metallic with Vescin Vintage Brown interior (favored style) & the iconic package. With the new remodeling, the car is much bigger now and comparable to the BMW X1. More overhead space & back seat can comfortable fit passengers. My favorite part about this car during the test drive was the GO KART MODE! It's basically their sport mode & man did it feel nice! Also, if you're a current/former BMW owner, ask about loyalty credits! Up to $1000 loyalty credit can be used towards a MINI or BMW. If car is totaled, I believe as long as it has been less than a year, you can still get loyalty credit. Although I did not end up getting the Countryman, our salesman was very nice & not pushy at all, which I was very appreciative of!

But, on the bright side, I called Bob and he just happened to have a perfect replacement! I just picked up my new (to me) 2005 Volvo S40 T5. The car runs and looks like new. Bob gave me a great warranty and judging from past experience, I'm sure the car will last me a very very long time. I cannot stress enough how honest and customer oriented everyone is at Specialty Auto. Oh, and they also have Tom there, who is probably the best Volvo mechanic in the world outside of Scandinavia. They have to be reputable. The vehicle is gorgeous and I fell in love with a photo. I spoke to Kasey and he assured me the car had ZERO Major Problems and I took him at his word. There was Missing accessories from the Interior. Broken Window Parts needed to be replaced and the Wheels are 'so' oversized that when you turn the car hard left or right, the wheels rub and create a rubbing noise. Worst of all, all 4 wheels are and were COMPLETELY Pitted from Weather and need to be replaced....NONE of these things were disclosed to me PRIOR to me receiving the Hummer. I paid a ridiculous price for this vehicle and Kasey, plus the Manager Bill Ryan, the G.M. Mark Doran .......All COMPLETELY have ignored my calls and texts! I even Facebook Messengered the Owner Ernie Boch. I've tried for a Full year for restitution, and they have done absolutely zero. Now I realize It is a used car....but I feel they took me real good and should have better described the true condition of the car. Omitting important defects to me is the same as lying!..... Although I was purchasing the vehicle from a different used-car dealership, I spoke with Dan, a Service Manager at Herb Chambers Volvo, beforehand and explained that the Carfax report showed a previous air-conditioning issue and that the AC was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection. Dan and the service team conducted a thorough inspection, including the use of a camera to identify a leak in the evaporator component of the air-conditioning system. They also provided an exceptionally detailed written report outlining safety concerns, recommended repairs, and areas of the vehicle that were in excellent condition. When I returned to the selling dealership with the report, I was told that the AC had simply been recharged and was working properly. Wanting clarification, I contacted Dan regarding the evaporator findings and the items listed in the inspection report. Dan promptly returned my call, walked me through the technician's findings, and even sent me the inspection video so I could share it with the dealership. After reviewing the video, the dealership ultimately confirmed that the evaporator did, in fact, need to be replaced--a repair valued at approximately $5,000. Even though I was not purchasing the vehicle from Herb Chambers, Dan went above and beyond to answer my questions, return my calls, and provide a level of professionalism that was truly outstanding. I am extremely grateful for the transparency, thoroughness, communication, and customer service I received throughout the process. I would not hesitate to bring a vehicle to Herb Chambers Volvo and highly recommend the team to anyone looking for honest, professional, and comprehensive service.

Now after doing some research we find that according to Volvo an urgent safety message requires dealerships to scan the car asap. So let this be a warning to anyone who is buying a Volvo, shop elsewhere since service is what it's all about.
