This includes everything from the purchase of my vehicles to the body work they recently completed as the finished product left my vehicles looking as good as it did when I had purchased it from their showroom floor two years ago! If you are wise enough to to business here ask for Joe in the service department, Jorge in the bodyshop, and Rubin who sold me my vehicles. They are totally top notch! The first time, our engine wouldn't turn on and it was because rats had chewed through the wires. Apparently this is a known issue with Honda cars because they use soy-based plastic wiring. They quoted us over $6k to do the repair. Our insurance said that dealerships always overprice their repairs and they won't cover any repairs by dealerships for that reason. We went with a different auto repair shop, which quoted us over a thousand dollars less to do the repair. The second time, our rear windshield shattered for no reason. This is also a known issue with Honda HRV cars, but the dealership refused to cover it under warranty because they are only doing it for 2023 and 2024 cars. However, it's definitely a known issue because it's the same car and earlier models had the same issue. We have a six month old baby, which is why we bought the car. So thankful our baby was not in the car when the rear windshield shattered. We will never buy a Honda again.

I moved up here from out of state a few years back and had fine experiences with this location for…read morecar service during my first 2 years in the area. The last 3 years have been a different story. Every time I bring my car in, prices are unreasonable, with added expenses we didn't discuss before service. I have to negotiate literally every time I bring my car in, and I leave feeling swindled consistently. To say this place has become a scam is an understatement. The prices are arbitrary, and they can never tell me what work was actually done on the car. I most recently dealt with Michael for car service. I dropped my car off at 9am and then reached out to Toyota to check in at 3:30pm because I hadn't heard anything. I got a receptionist, who said Michael had a line of customers at his desk and that he'd get back to me. I immediately received an automated text message to approve or deny a list of services (that were not the reason I needed service on that particular day), and they never even addressed my issue. I waited until 4pm to call back, nearing the end of the work day because I needed to pick up my car by close and I was nervous they now wouldn't have time to address my issue. They'd had the car already for 7 hours without actually addressing the issue, only for Michael to call me around 4:30pm to say they can't help me. More accurately, I was given two options, 1) Toyota cannot help me because I had work done with "aftermarket parts" (these parts were installed by Toyota when I purchased my car, mind you), so I'd have to bring my car elsewhere, or 2) They would charge me an indiscriminate amount to remove all the fully-functioning "aftermarket" parts because "maybe" it would get them one step closer to addressing my issue - no guarantee it would solve anything but I'd be charged a great deal more money, have functioning parts removed to potentially also cause more issues without necessarily solving the original issue. I asked if a third option was available, one that could have been a fairly simple fix - and one that was recommended by another Toyota Service Center as the first step in solving the problem, and he said he'd never heard of such a thing. I explained that I'd contacted this other Toyota, and they said to start with this third option. Michael said, "If that was an option, the service technician would've given it to [him]." I asked if he could check in with the technician, and he refused several times. When I brought this up upon collecting my unserviced vehicle, he claimed that "he's not racist, but the technician is Chinese and doesn't speak English," so it wouldn't have helped anyone even if he had asked about the third option as I requested. Michael then went on to charge me $149 for labor (not the full $199 he "should've" charged me, as he pointed out for me to be grateful), despite nothing being addressed or accurately diagnosed on my vehicle. When asked how long the vehicle was looked at and what exactly I was being charged for, Michael couldn't answer. After years of feeling disrespected at this location, this was my final straw. I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere.

This is a long overdue review of Scott. My wife and I have used Scott twice to replace her cars,…read moreand both times he delivered and surpassed our expectations. We were introduced to Scott by a colleague of mine who also used him and was happy with him. And we remain grateful for that introduction. Looking back, I can see that we continued using Scott for 4 primary reasons: 1- We trust him 2- We value his expertise 3- We enjoy working with him 4- We don't have time to handle getting new cars ourselves. We first used Scott in 2021. After reviewing what my wife wanted in her X5, he rightly advised that we go with a custom build. Scott handled everything from the negotiation of the deal to placing the order to finalizing the documents which we simply DocuSigned before the car was delivered to our home. Throughout the process, Scott tracked the progress of the car build and kept us updated, and my wife was extremely happy with the car she ended up with. Despite the car being a custom build, Scott was able to get it at 9K below MSRP at a time when car prices were already starting to get somewhat crazy. Scott's involvement didn't stop with the car delivery. The car had some tree sap on one of the mirrors, and he ensured the dealer took care of that as well. The second time we used Scott was toward the end of 2023. The last few months of 2023 were trying for us as a family with the loss of my father, then a close uncle, then our dog, and then my wife's stepfather. Those losses combined with our jobs made it difficult for us to work with Scott with much lead time. We ended up asking him to find my wife a 2024 X5 matching a specific build and he literally had days right before Christmas to do it. And he DID it. This time, the new car was again 8-9K below MSRP. And Scott again took care of handling everything from finding the car which he did in a weekend, to negotiating the deal, to finalizing the documents for us to DocuSign, and finally ensuring the car was delivered again to our home. With everything we had going on in our lives and our jobs, I can say without the shadow of a doubt that if it weren't for Scott, my wife would not have been able to get a new car by end of 2023. We highly recommend Scott, much like he was highly recommended to us. And we are grateful for his good nature and calm dealing with our constraints in 2023 because we know that couldn't have been easy for him. In a world where everything is inflated, Scott is one of the few exceptions where the value you receive far outweighs the fee you pay.

I found myself googling "can you hire someone to buy a car for you?" And that's how I found Scott! He made the process positive, exciting, and absolutely stress free. I cannot imagine buying a car any other way. I was very overwhelmed by all of the car options and had no idea what I wanted. After a brief phone call, Scott was able to narrow down 2-3 cars that would be perfect for my needs. I literally did not have to leave my house one single time. As a nurse who works long hours, and primarily overnights, this was so helpful for me. Scott was very flexible with my schedule. The best part is that he is one of the nicest people, and you can immediately sense his passion for cars and for genuinely wanting to help people and make the car buying process as pleasant as possible. The price for Scott's services is extremely reasonable considering everything that he does for you. He will also make sure to get a very fair price for your car. I have told literally everybody I know about Scott's services, and will continue to recommend him for anybody buying a car. Thank you Scott!!!

Kristine Marino was wonderful in ensuring the lease inspection was taken care of (as I was not able to be there). I was concerned that there would be a problem with my absence, but Kristine did everything and kept me up to date on the process. Without her help, I would have had to wait a week before getting my new car. When I got my new Tiguan, I wouldn't have gotten out of the dealership driveway without the help of Steven Tkacyk. There were so many differences between this Tiguan and the older model, I could never have figured it out without Steve. The salesmans name is Anthony Ospina. He literally is thee worst salesman I've ever dealt with. We asked what he could do on the price, and of course his answer was it's already at the lowest price. So he didn't even ask if he could do anything with one of his managers, just a hard no. I told him we were going to look around and price comparison. He told us there were no other used Civics in a 200 mile radius. Which we all know that's a lie. And when we told him if he could hold the car for a little while he said he has someone coming in about a half hour after us that's interested in that car. Which was lie number 2. When Anthony knew we weren't going to buy the car, he stormed away from us like a 2 year old. No thank you for coming in, no goodbye, good luck. Nothing. Didn't offer a water, coffee while we were there. Very rude and childish person. We left and went to another dealership and guess what? Another used Civic! And I didn't drive over 200 miles to find one! Another lie. Well we were greated with a warm welcome, asked us what we wanted and sat us at his desk. Brought the car right up to the front door. Gave us the keys and said take it for a ride. We did, great car but my nephew didn't like the color of the inside. He wanted the one at Mcgovern. He called Anthony Ospina and said we'd like to come back and try to get him to give us a better price this time. Anthony Ospina told him they had sold the car. My nephew said okay thank you. Hung up, within two minutes Anthony Ospina called back and said the person just backed out of the deal. Lie number 3. I knew he was full of Sh*t from the get go but the car was for my nephew. And he was already approved for a loan from a credit union. With a really good APR. He told him he'd match it at Honda and take a $1,000 off the car he said he couldn't from the start. Lie number 4. He also said if he didn't use Honda finance he'd have to pay full price for the car. I've been buying cars for a long time and know how things work and what these dealerships can do. They just expect all people to be stupid and not question them. The reason he wanted my nephew to finance with Honda is because for every car they have financed through them they make a pretty good commission. And that $1,000 he offered would be made back 10 folds on the kick back they'd get from Honda's bank they used. Which now the $1,000 he thought he would have saved, he'd pay more than that in the higher finance charges. My nephew agreed and I told him what there trying to do. But he wanted the car. Now instead of Anthony Ospina saying congratulations to him he took us to the finance guy who's name was Ben. Very nice made us feel welcomed offered us something to drink. None of which Anthony Ospina did at all. As we we're leaving one of the managers called Anthony Ospina over to say goodbye to us. At that time I asked Anthony Ospina for a few oil changes for the first time young customer. Right away he said NO. Without hesitation. I said really? Yep. He said I already saved you a $1,000! Again lie number 5. So I said how about your manager, as I turned to the manager he yelled out NOPE. Didn't even have to ask him. He said we don't do that. Again, really? You can't give him a few oil changes? Nope. As we were walking away the other manager said "Don't tell anyone I did this but I'll give you the first one for free. I think he said his last name was Lopez. What a sport he was. But if I'm correct every dealership always gives the first oil change for free. Not everyone knows that and they don't tell you either. All complete losers in my book. I told my nephew don't even go back for it. You got the car now stay away from there. First off, I don't recommend going to Mcgovern Honda in Everett. Because they will do nothing but screw you and they don't treat you right. And they will tell you their not making any money on your deal! Which is a HUGE LIE. I'd give no stars if I could. Be warned. They all Su*k there. This is 100% the truth. Update...Update... Because I left a bad review on line about Mcgovern Honda in Everett Anthony Ospina called my nephew and told him they cancelled his contract. Talk about babies! Mcgovern Honda is mad because they got a bad review. Boo hoo hoo! My nephew is very upset but I know he can get a much better deal. Shop at your own risk. Hopefully this review will make you think twice about going there.
