I've had the pleasure of doing business with Cambridge Honda since 2019 including the purchase of my last two vehicles and NEVER LOOKED BACK!! This dealership is an exemplar of customer service from sales, to service, to the body shop! This outstanding team not only possesses the winning combination of friendliness and professionalism but they go out of their way to work within my budget no matter what the service. This includes everything from the purchase of my vehicles to the body work they recently completed as the finished product left my vehicles looking as good as it did when I had purchased it from their showroom floor two years ago! If you are wise enough to to business here ask for Joe in the service department, Jorge in the bodyshop, and Rubin who sold me my vehicles. They are totally top notch! This is one dealership that totally puts its money where their mouth is when they claim we are "family! read more

Terrible service. We purchased a brand new 2025 Honda HRV from this place, shelled out extra for an increased warranty, and our car has had to have *two* repairs in the first six months of ownership. The first time, our engine wouldn't turn on and it was because rats had chewed through the wires. Apparently this is a known issue with Honda cars because they use soy-based plastic wiring. They quoted us over $6k to do the repair. Our insurance said that dealerships always overprice their repairs and they won't cover any repairs by dealerships for that reason. We went with a different auto repair shop, which quoted us over a thousand dollars less to do the repair. The second time, our rear windshield shattered for no reason. This is also a known issue with Honda HRV cars, but the dealership refused to cover it under warranty because they are only doing it for 2023 and 2024 cars. However, it's definitely a known issue because it's the same car and earlier models had the same issue. We have a six month old baby, which is why we bought the car. So thankful our baby was not in the car when the rear windshield shattered. We will never buy a Honda again. read more

Never able to actually do the thing you have scheduled with them. If you schedule an inspection you'll show up to find their inspection guy "isn't here today". If they promise a detailing with service, suddenly they "can't do that today - we don't have enough guys". Do not trust anything they claim they can do for you. It won't happen. read more

Cambridge Honda does very good work, albeit at dealership prices which is expected. My only gripe it that it is nearly impossible to make an appointment. The phone number listed on their website says that this phone number is not in service. I did some online research and I found other phone numbers for Cambridge Honda Service. Every other number I found and tried was not in service. So I made an appointment online through their website and I got an appointment confirmation by text. I brought my car down on the date and time of the appointment. They had no record of my appointment. The service rep said he was not surprised. That happens all the time, but it was no problem they could still take me. Again, they do great work, but what a way to run a business! read more

The sales manager yelled at us saying we wasted his time in front of everyone literally for 10 minutes in very loud and rude way possible. My wife's birthday is today Oct 11 and yesterday evening, I took her to Cambridge honda directly from work to get her first car. She didn't even knew I was going to buy a car for her. The ways sales manager yelled traumatized my wife and she couldn't sleep last night. Not only he ruined her birthday but traumatized her. We went there around 5:15pm and spent about 20 minutes test riding and calculating some numbers. After calculating some numbers, the sales man (TJ) had to go twice to his sales manager for approval but the monthly payment was somehow still high so my wife hesitated and asked me maybe we should think about it and come tomorrow morning. That's was all. Then this sales manager in duty on Oct 10 Friday, came out from his office and started yelling at us, saying we are not there to buy a car but to waste his valuable time. He kept yelling at us that his time is very precious and can't be returned once wasted. And don't come to buy a car if you're not capable of and waste his time and effort. His reaction was over the floor and goes thumping the car with his hand that was on floor. All I asked for was possible way to lower the monthly premium, either by increasing down, Or perhaps different trim that may work under my budget but no I supposed to just buy whatever this so called manager has put it on paper. But he kept yelling that you customers have all the rights in the world to waste time, and he also added we as dealers also have rights not sale a car to us. My poor wife couldn't take more of his bitterness and walked out of the door and so did I. I am not sure how they even have a business with such customer service. Perhaps, the corporate or HR can do something to this so-called sales manage. Maybe his precious time should let him keep and stay at home not spend misbehaving with customers. Note: I wanted to buy a car was putting down 8k cash and rest in finance on 2025 civic touring hybrid hatchback. read more

I get a text message from a person here and then a call. They have a new car, its one I wanted and they can get me everything I want on it and get me a great price and the car is on the lot. The next day (today 11/29/21) I get a call at 10:19am to ensure that I will be showing up for my app at 1pm. I tell the gentleman yes I will be there, he said ok confirmed. I get to Honda at 1pm on the dot. I walk in I sit, they ask for my keys so they can appraise my 2011 Honda that I am trading in, take a copy of my registration, go talk to whomever come back and tell me that they are offering me 1500 for my car and I have to put 1k down and gave me pricing. So total price of vehicle is 27k. Its about to get fun... So I just added brand new tires $500, just had the breaks, rotars and calipers replaced; $500, I had the ball joint and axel replaced $450. These repairs were just made on my car in the last 20 days. So what they were offering me was trash. So I tell the guy I am not taking that for my car and I can still drive my car and wait out this chip issue they are having that they are charging $1500 over the MSRP for. Hes like "If I get you what you want, will you close the deal" I said close the deal I havent even seen the car. This man said the car isnt even there, I was confused cause the reason I went there was because they said the car was on the lot. So they guy goes and gets someone else and he comes and says they sold the car this morning. So I said so you guys wasted my time, in which he replied "We dont want to waste your time" I said "But you have, you made me come here for a car you sold" Here are the questions I have: Why didnt the guy that called me at 10 tell me that he sold the car I was going to look at? If the car I was going for was sold, what car were you pricing me for? I am a busy person, Mondays are my rest days, I do not schedule to do anything. I take the day away from school work, I dont cook, clean and free myself of responsibility. It is my mental day and I took away from that to visit a business that lied to get me there. I am so beyond annoyed, there are so many dealerships I can go to. I didnt need to be lied to, people will do anything to make a sale. I will never step foot there again. read more

One of the worst car buying experiences I've ever had. They won't tell you the price over the phone/email and make you come in person only to give you an outrageously inflated sticker price. They then try to pressure you to buy. I literally drove an hour to New Hampshire to get my car and would do so again. I would never do business with them. read more

I think that using the entirety of a 2 1/2 hour appointment slot to do an oil change and tire rotation is a bit much.

Used car prices are generally inflated by local standards. Completely unwilling to negotiate prices based on market value. Found a VW I was looking for and while the mileage was low the price was as much as certified preowned models several years newer, The manager scoffed when I made an offer below sticker on a 10 year old car. What kind of used car dealer doesn't negotiate price? Very dissatisfied. I attempted to reach out one last time as I thought I'd give them one last chance, but completely unwilling to budge from thier inflated sticker price. read more

I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent experience at your facility. I brought my car in for service, which cost over $600. Upon picking up my vehicle after paying the services, I discovered that it had been damaged, and I was not informed of this issue at any point. I had to figure that out on my own. I recommend that customers thoroughly inspect their vehicles both at drop-off and pick-up to avoid similar situations. Today I called regarding another matter which is my oil life is decreasing pretty fast compared to my other oil changes. I spoke with a Supervisor named Romelo, who seemed to find my concerns amusing. This response was unprofessional, especially when addressing an issue related to a customer's vehicle which was in your possession. Didn't care to see if my oil was leaking or nothing, just laughed. Don't come here especially if you're dealing with a Romelo. UPDATE: he's not a supervisor. He's just claiming to be something he's not. read more

Sales manager Javel Sosa is cocky and rude. Doesn't want to explain pricing over the phone. I asked him to break down the pricing for a car he wants over $45,000 for, and he just couldn't be bothered. Probably the worst, most toxic sales person I've ever encountered. Very unpleasant to deal with. I guess they have so much business they don't need anymore. I decided to go with Herb Chambers in Burlington, better pricing, nicer to deal with. I'll never return to Cambridge Honda, even to service my CRV hybrid. Horrible. read more

I am giving Honda of Hollywood 5 stars for their willingness to go the extra mile to fix a problem. They went above and beyond to show me generous hospitality (washed my car and fixed a cracked back light without charge) after a mishap happened during my car's repair after an accident. I brought my car in for repair after a minor fender (and front quarter panel) bender. I was taken care of Jorge in Body Repair and was assisted in getting a car rental brought to me during the repair window. The communication was prompt and kept me up to date on the 1.5 week repair. Upon the final delivery of my car, Jorge discovered that my car windshield had some how been damaged since I left the vehicle in their care. He didn't notice the issue until he handed me my keys and admitted as much. He apologized and promised to make it right. There was some back and forth initially about whether or not the accident could have caused the damage (I did not think it was possible), but Jorge agreed to take full responsibility for the damage and promised to make it right. About a week or so later when the glass arrived, I brought my car in for the repair. I was out of my vehicle for about 2 days, but when it war returned it was deep cleaned, washed, and a broken side light was fixed free of charge. Though the whole thing was a bit rocky at first, I was impressed with the attention and commitment to making things right after all. read more

never in my life have I had such a terrible experience. my elderly parents went to buy my mother a car. They told her one price then wrote a price $2500 higher on the paper work. she called me because she didn't notice right away. I called and asked to speak to the sales manager, because I live 2 hours away and couldn't be there with her. That, I'm going to use the word boy, because no man would be so rude and condescending. He stated my mother was a lier. Now my mom should be in line for sainthood, she literally can't lie. I informed him that both my parents heard the first number they were given. so then he went on to call them both liers and say his sales person never told them that and that the car price never changed since they walked in the door. He got loud on the phone with me and was so unprofessional. How he even has a job or gets anyone to buy a car from him I haven't the slightest clue. I eventually just hung up on him because I was not going to continue being spoken to like that. They pulled a bait and switch on an elderly woman. When the guy at the service desk heard that, he said they'd get me out in time even though they were busy. Right on time, my car was done and I made the other appointment with 5 minutes to spare. Long overdue review here for our above-and-beyond experience at Cambridge Honda! Our car's air conditioning broke in the middle of July 2020 when I was 9 months pregnant, so we were in a bit of a desperate situation. We discovered that the repair had to be done at a dealership because of the kind of car we have, so we opted for Cambridge Honda which was nearby. I dropped it off on a Tuesday morning and it was ready by the following afternoon--and that was only because they had to wait on a part! And the price was exactly the same we'd been quoted elsewhere, and in line with what my own research indicated was reasonable. But where these folks went above and beyond (and I bet any people from Cambridge Honda reading this probably remember me) was that I ended up going into labor the day I dropped off the car, and couldn't pick it up! They were awesome--they held onto the car until the day we were discharged, and then dropped it off for us at Mt. Auburn. This dealership definitely has our business for future car repairs. read more

The worst Honda dealership in the greater Boston area. Extremely rude sale manager. I do not recommend anyone to go there

I have a family member that works on cars for a living and has done maintenance on my car since I've purchased it new in 2013. Taking my car to Cambridge Honda is the first (and will be the last) time I have taken it to anyone else. I needed to replace all 4 tires on my vehicle - I purchased all 4 tires online myself and came in only needing to switch out the old ones. First off, it took over 2.5 hours after my scheduled appointment to drive away with my car. I was frustrated at how long this took, considering it was routine maintenance and I had purposely selected an early morning time to avoid delays. My rims were scraped to shit after I got my car back, too. Not the biggest deal but seems like something you might avoid doing to someone's car. After receiving my car back, I've been having issues with car's control system informing me when a tire is low pressure. I've manually checked all four tires and my front passenger's side wheel is 7+ PSI less than the rest of my tires and my car's system wasn't notifying me about low pressure. I've taken my car back to my family member and we've taken the wheels off together to see what's up. Lo and behold - 2 of my tire sensors have been replaced with used, aftermarket sensors, not even Honda brand. They were rusted and corroded - they looked 20 years old. My other two Honda sensors from my original car still look like new, so it's VERY clear that the other two have been replaced. Bonus, either the computer wasn't reconfigured with the aftermarket sensors (turned off????) or the parts were broken when they put them on because those two tires basically have no sensor, and the one that was low also had a leak where it connects to the tire. We let air out to well below the threshold of triggering my low pressure sensor (20 PSI) and it still won't trip, so it is clearly not working. Why did I pay extra to take my car to a HONDA dealership only to have my car fucking broken? I was not informed any parts were replaced or had been reconfigured on my car. This is a liability. Makes sense for why it took over 2 hours, they were replacing parts on my car. If you're like me and thought going to a HONDA dealership meant they would take care of your HONDA car, you are wrong. read more

They told me I could test drive a car over the phone. I specifically asked how it worked, and they never mentioned I couldn't leave the parking lot. I would have been okay with this and said no thank you if they were honest. Instead, I took a day off of work and walked an hour to the dealership. When I got there, they didn't even have the car I was most interested in and only then informed me that I couldn't leave the lot with the other one I appreciate that they are trying to be responsible during the pandemic, but being disingenuous to your customer to get them in the door is shady at best. When confronted, the manager wouldn't even admit that this was dishonest He also explicitly lied to me by saying that other Honda dealers weren't doing test drives right now, "he called his friends who own other dealerships". Ugh. I'm feeling annoyed with the service department. A few weeks ago, my CRV's wiring was chewed through by some rodents. Them: You must have a lot of squirrels in your area. It'll be $400 to fix. Me: Um, I don't think we have more squirrels than other areas? [Google it.] Oh, it looks like the wiring is coated with soy, which attracts squirrels? And this is a super common problem for CRV owners? Them: Oh, right, yeah. You should spray some kind of deterrent on your car. You can find it at Home Depot. Me: Oh. Well, is this covered by insurance? Them: [Laugh.] No, this kind of thing is never covered. A few weeks later, I get around to calling Liberty Mutual. Apparently, it IS covered -- and it's a common claim. But, because I don't have photos of the damage, I'm out of luck, and won't be getting reimbursed. Thanks guys. (Two stars because they do seem to do good work.) read more

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. The sales department told me I would get my car on a particular day and they did not follow through. Then they put me in a rental, and next thing you know I'm getting sent a bill for $936.10 for damages that occurred while the car was parked on the lot of Cambridge Honda, from Enterprise Rent a Car. I dropped the car off at 1 PM to pick up my new car, THERE WAS NO DAMAGES. And Kerry verified that it in fact was not damaged by me. They never brought back the rental until almost 24 hours later. So that is MY NEGLIGENCE? CERTAINLY NOT! This place is been known to damage cars in the lot, because it is too small, they have no surveillance cameras around the whole perimeter of their lot, as they had stated THEMSELVES. They are telling us that there is no way to prove how the damage was done, however the person selling me the car by the name Kerry Melo in the sales department, told me that there was nothing to worry about, that they would cover the charges for the damage, since they were negligent in not having a surveillance camera, and dropping off the car to enterprise almost 24 hours later. The sales manager Jevel also stated and promised, that the damage would be taken care of by them. We asked for something in writing and they declined. Now I wake up this morning to an estimate for almost $1000 worth of damages. I'm reading the estimate and none of it adds up. Why should I have to pay for damages to a car that happened on their clock? When I picked up my car they looked over the rental and said that everything was "all set " When I went down after enterprise they contacted me they also said that they (Cambridge Honda) would cover the damages and it was "all set". Not to mention when I picked up my car there were scratches all over it l, how do you sell a car in that condition? What kind of customer service is this? I now have to take time out of my day off to go and get the scratches fixed that clearly their lot also damaged. The customer is always right. I am now having to obtain a lawyer to sue Cambridge Honda for their negligence, because I know I didn't damage the car, it was their negligence, and any dealership should have surveillance due to the fact that cars could get stolen. Or in this case, damaged. And you better believe they WILL BE ALSO FOOTING THE BILL FROM MY LAWYER AS WELL! If my brand new car could have scratches all over it, then explain to me how this car also has scratches on it which goes to show what type of messy business that they run. They leave their lot open 24 hours a day, people come through there during rush hour from fresh Pond Parkway to make a shortcut. Anything could've happened, but I know that I am not responsible for it, because the car only went two places. To my job and to my house. The car was parked in my driveway, there is no way the car could've been damaged in anyway shape or form, and ithey COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I would've never had to get a rental in the first place if they kept their end of the bargain and promised me the car within two days time of the day that I signed the agreement to buy the car. should've never had to drive a rental in the FIRST place and it SHOWS their lack of customer service IN crossing their own T's and dotting their own I's. So in closing, if you feel like getting completely aggravated and hit with felonious charges then go right ahead and buy a car from them. But if you would like to be able to buy a car and be given a promise to receive the car that you bought and paid for on the day THEY PROMISED. I suggest you go to another dealership. And another thing I'd like to add please refer to the pictures and then please refer to the estimate. You tell me if that makes any sense it's for a scratch on the door, and they're charging me for taillights? something is seriously going on and there is some type of corruption. read more

Poor communication. I've been trying to get an oil change here this morning. I've called two times to ask about whether it's possible, and each time as soon as I mention the word "service" the rep reflexively forwards the call without another word. Problem is that the service department has not been picking up. It just rings and rings and rings. I called back a third time to try to explain this. All I wanted to do is ask the woman who answers the phone whether the service department is open, and whether it might be possible to get service. I started by saying, "I've called two times this morning to see if I could get an oil change..." but before I could even get out the words "...please don't forward my call," she'd already forwarded it. There's a thing called service, and there's a thing called impatience. This is not service. I'll be taking my car somewhere else to get an oil change today. read more

Cambridge Honda doesn't care about their customers, and that is a fact. Today I had a terrible experience at the dealership with Joe Penebre, who lied and didn't call the warranty company as promised by him. I took my car to get my speakers looked at because they stopped working unexpectedly. Joe at the beginning of our interaction told me that it wouldn't cost to get my speakers looked at, and that to be sure he WOULD CALL HONDA CARE to double check . He said and I quote " if I don't get back to you UNTIL 4:00pm, you can come back and pick up your car hopefully for NO COST" .... 4pm, no call from him which made me think that he did his job and I don't have to pay. So I got ready and drove there. Joe greeted me and said that my warranty is expired and that I would have to pay, but he said " if I don't call it's good news". Now I'm here, shocked as to why, and I repeated that I have warranty and I shouldn't be paying. He shows me this paper and I repeated how frustrated I am that I have to pay, and repeated I had warranty. He finds something on the paper that proves I have warranty and it's not expired yet. He goes "sorry sorry I call them now" HE DIDN'T CALL THEM AT ALL LIKE HE PROMISED. He said to wait in the waiting area . 4:30 pm my car isn't ready. Around that time he comes back and tells me warranty doesn't cover and that's how it is. Of course I tell him that I have warranty, and I BOUGHT WARRANTY, but Joe didn't listen and walked away. After this I confronted him and told him he promised something else, and that I'm being lied to but instead of listening he was ignoring me. He didn't stick to his words, lied and that is a horrible look on the company. OVERALL, it is not nice to be treated like this and be lied to. Not to mention staff members weren't even wearing masks, and the lady at the pay station was on her phone when helping a customer. Like what?
