Scott the Car Guy is truly amazing! He provided me with a very professional, kind, informative, and supportive car concierge experience. I cannot imagine having purchased my Subaru Impreza without him. That's how much of a difference he made. As a woman from NYC, I never owned a car (a lot of New Yorkers don't) and, after many years, I decided this was the time. From our first phone contact to multiple emails and texts, to setting up test drives, to advice, to coaching, to just plain old information, Scott was a god-send. He walked me through the experience, and turned what was potentially an extremely unpleasant experience into something exciting and even fun. I still tell people about Scott, and this is many weeks later. A highlight of the experience was Scott's taking me aside before the Financing/Insurance meeting, coaching me about exactly what to expect, and then instructing me to ask him for guidance right in middle of the meeting if I needed to, and we could step outside and discuss it. Which I did. Throughout the meeting, he looked carefully at the paperwork the dealership presented to me so that I did not sign onto anything I shouldn't. This was amazing. Who does this, you ask? Scott the car Guy! I recommend him completely. Plus he saved me quite a bit of money. Bottom line is that it was one of the best consumer experiences I've ever had. read more

We were referred to Scott by a few other military couples. As parents to 3 young kids with no family in the area, it just wasn't feasible to go car shopping for days on end and drag the children along. We decided to take a chance with Scott after hearing so many good things. He immediately reached out to schedule a time to talk with me and my husband, to find out what we were looking for, what we were trying to trade in, and what our time frame was. He came up with a couple models that we may be interested in, and found a dealership with a great deal that we could head to for a test drive. We ended up loving our first test drive and Scott was down at the dealership within 30 minutes on a Saturday to handle the negotiations with the dealer. We never got our hands dirty with numbers, and felt we were in such good hands. Scott looked the car over himself to make sure that we were getting a good value, and stayed with us every step until it was actually time to trade our car in and take the new one home. We plan to keep this new vehicle for a long while, but will 100% use Scott when we go to upgrade our other family car in a year or two. read more

SCOTT THE CAR GUY..........intuitive, efficient, smart, knowledgeable, adaptable, customer service driven, pleasant, and calming. You pay Scott and he saves you money and time. EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE ! My only question is: Why wouldn't the average car consumer hire Scott??????(unless you enjoy spending time negotiating with car salesman and potentially not getting a fair price) Leave your stress on Scott's shoulders and go do whatever you do. Scott will do what he does ............promptly find your car and quickly negotiate a deal. In my case, less than a week. He wouldn't let me settle for something "close" to my dream car. Scott persisted until he found THE CAR that I was meant to have, at a great price with zero hassles. I did not have to do a thing except show up, sign the papers, and drive away in my beautiful new car! Scott, I will be sending more customers your way, because it would not be fair to keep you a secret. It is clear why so many people consider you to be their CAR GUY, me included! YOU DELIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

When I got into an accident and totaled our car, we suddenly found ourselves in the position of needing to buy a new car ASAP. My husband and I were totally overwhelmed with the insurance and accident fallout, and the prospect of getting screwed by a dealership was nauseating. Enter: Scott The Car Guy! He honestly saved our sanity (and possibly our marriage :). We gave him our wish list and our budget and *the*next*day* he found a car for auction in PA that was everything we wanted and under budget. He got the car transported to MA where we live, brought it to our house on a Saturday AM so we could take it for a test drive, and then took care of the registration and inspection for us. A few days later he drove it to our house and handed us the keys. And if you think this all must come at an impossible cost, think again! We saved so much more on this car than we paid Scott, and in return we got the pleasure of never having to step foot onto a dealership lot. BOOM. read more

When I first heard of concierge car buying, I figured it was a service catered to the wealthy and not something that was feasible for me. But then someone turned me on to Scott The Car Guy. I read the reviews and thought it must be too good to be true. Scott got back to me right away, and was a pleasure to work with from the first interaction through to signing off on my new car. I marveled at the fact that purchasing a new vehicle took me all-in-all several emails back-and-forth with Scott, and 35 stress-free minutes at the dealership. I spent way less money and less time than I would have had I bought my car on my own. I was floored. I can't shut up about it. WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY A CAR WITHOUT SCOTT'S HELP?! read more

I cannot recommend Scott highly enough! My very old car was totaled and I was in desperate need of a new one. I had heard about Scott and called him. One of the problems was that I had no idea whether I wanted to buy or lease, or whether I wanted a new or used car. Scott patiently led me through the process and within five days I had test driven four cars and fallen in love with one. At that point Scott himself inspected the car, negotiated the deal, and went with me to sign the papers. The peace of mind alone of knowing that I got a better deal than I ever could have gotten on my own is worth the very reasonable fee that Scott charges. He is a delightful guy and a pleasure to work with. read more

Scott helped me buy my first car. He is very professional and obviously passionate about what he does. Even though I had thoroughly researched what I was looking for, Scott took the time to make sure I knew all my options and that I was sure I'd chosen the right car for me. I could tell that he truly enjoys finding and buying cars, which was great considering I was completely daunted by the whole process! In just two weeks from the time I first contacted him, I had my new car, and at a lower price than I expected. I would highly recommend Scott the Car Guy to anyone buying a car. What would have been a very stressful process on my own couldn't have been any smoother with Scott's help. read more

If you want good advice about car choices that fit your budget, AND you want someone else to haggle with the dealer, Scott is THE guy! He seems to know all makes and models very well, and he will do whatever is necessary to get you the car you want. Scott is also very personable and is easy to communicate with, and is low key, putting no pressure on you . That's why you hire him - he takes the pressure for you. He certainly is a good negotiator, since he was able to get my new car for 10% less than the dealer was asking! In addition, he also negotiated a good deal on the tire and wheel warranty (15% off!). Out of five stars, I'd give Scott a ten! Need I say more? read more

Definitely the easiest and most efficient way to purchase a vehicle! A little about Scott: He's an utmost professional who LOVES his job. As he said to me: "I love my job -- I get to buy a new car everyday!" For those of us who buy cars once or maybe twice a decade, hiring Scott is a no-brainer: who do you think will get a better deal? Us, the car-buying novice, or Scott, the guy who purchases a car a day? Amicable, prompt on email and phone, detailed, patient, and flexible. He makes a stressful experience completely stress free. I will be hiring Scott again when I purchase my next vehicle, new or used. read more

Let's face it. Unless you are buying/leasing new cars 10 times a day, the dealer has the upper hand based on repetition alone. After some recent experiences left me scarred, I decided to see if there was a better option and I found that in Scott. He took care of everything. From scheduling the test drive, to locating the car, to negotiating for the best price, to being by my side reviewing the final documents. I cannot recommend Scott and his services enough and when the need arises, I will most certainly be contacting him again. read more

From now on this is the way I'm buying all of my future vehicles. We got: a list of cars specific to what we needed, an honest evaluation of every single flaw and asset about each of them, and a squabble-free explanation of the blue book, real value, car facts, cost, and profit. We did not: walk around lost in car parking lots, get oversold or fall prey to bait and switch, haggle over price and worry if we were being oversold. We got back our Saturdays. We got a car we now love. Now we're wondering if Scott will do this for boats. read more

I'm very glad that I worked with Scott to get my new car. From scheduling a test drive (btw I'm glad I followed his advice and test-drove the car I thought I wanted, it turned out saving me $$$) to working to find the exact color and trim (my car was hard to find, it had to be swapped-in from Hartford CT) to being with me at the dealership while signing the paperwork, the whole process was easy and stress-free. I'm quite satisfied with my new ride and the good deal. Definitely worth it. read more

I really had no idea what make or model car I wanted. My wife had a great experience with Scott so he and I connected. He provided a range of cars fitting my criteria and coordinated every step along the way, including negotiating a price that I would not have gotten on my own. He's very proactive and communicated throughout the process - basically handling all the "stuff" with the dealer that I didn't want to hassle with. I would highly recommend Scott ! read more

We were shopping around for a 2014 Honda CR-V when we decide to hire Scott to help. He took it from there. He found us a pristine example with fewer miles and even in the color we wanted for about $1300 less than our local Honda dealer. His service-oriented style of business made the whole experience practically effortless on our part. He was recommended to us by a friend, and we gladly recommend him to others... Thanks Scott! read more

I gave Scott a short list of things I thought I would like to see in my next vehicle and he found my dream truck in just a few days. It far exceeded what I expected to get at my price point. Scott is knowledgeable about all types of vehicles and clearly wants his customers to love the cars they buy with him. My vehicle search could not have been easier or more successful and I recommend Scott's services to anyone. read more

I used Scott for purchase of a 2018 Subaru under a very short time fuse. He was realistic in his negotiations with car dealers and let me know what was possible (and perhaps more importantly, what was not possible!). Scott is smart, and definitely good to have on your side! Well worth the money!!!! read more

Buying a car with scott was a wonderful process. We agreed on everything up front, mileage, style, cost - and then a few weeks later the car just shows up. Once the car is bought he takes care of all the details and then you are able to simply drive it home. Can't say enough good things. read more
