Great experience. Shopping for a car, especially a used one isn't exactly something someone looks forward to, but the experience I had at Newton Auto Group made it an easy process and one that had great results. I found the exact type of Jeep Wrangler I was looking for on their website for the right price and then set up time with Jade to look at the car. The car was perfect and it checked out in tip-top shape when I took it to an independent Jeep specialist. The real star of this story was Jade. He worked with me even though I was actually the one with the baggage. My bank was being pretty difficult to work with when it came time to arrange the financing. To make matters worse, I was leaving for a nice tropical vacation in two days and didn't have time to deal with endless paperwork. Jade arranged for basically the same great financing I had gotten with my bank with his preferred bank. Not only did he do that, but Jade also made sure to take care of the car while I was away on vacation. I came back a week later and all the insurance, registration, and safety inspection work had already been taken care of, all I had to do was hop in the car and drive away. I anxiously searched for my new used car - 2012 Honda Accord. I don't purhase new vehicles. Newton Group had the vehicle but with higher miles than what I wanted. Believe it or not they worked with me and negotiated a fair price. I was excited and traveled from Haverhill to test drive and purchase the car. Within 2 days I was driving the car home. Honda's can be difficult to find with low miles. I prepped my wife before we got there and told her to ask to see the "red one". But we really didn't have to do that because Chris was very open, honest and transparent. We had seen the CRV listed for a few weeks and saw the price change. When he mentioned this it we knew it was true, not a sales pitch. I asked Chris about my trade in and he explained that because of the miles and MA lemon laws, it would go to a whole sale auction. But they still gave me a fair trade considering the miles on my old Honda. Chris took care of getting a loan at a good rate and all was done in a timely manner. My family has been in the used car business since I was an infant and my father finally retired and I needed to find a used car. This was going to be my first used car from someone other then my dads lot. I've been looking for a Jeep and I had been driving by Newton Auto Group for several years on my way to work. I stopped in and took two jeeps for a test drive. I continued my search and checked out several other dealerships and Jeeps around the area. I went back to Newton Auto Group and asked to have the Jeep I liked looked at by a mechanic, and they happily with confidence said yes take it. I brought the Jeep back and we started to talk about how I could take it home. I went through my credit union and traded in my Ford Focus with Newton Auto Group and am happy with my payment plan and my trade in value. I mentioned that something may need to be looked at on the Jeep and they took it across the street and made the repair before taking the Jeep of the lot as my own. They also went to the DMV for me. I'm very happy, actually I'm in love with my Jeep. It's been just been 2 months and I've driven the Jeep to NY (twice), Philly, ME (2), VT (3), NH and Cape Cod, plus I daily drive it to work. When I pulled up to Newton Auto Group, I was surprised by how small the lot was. For such a small dealership, they pack in a lot of value. There is not a single car here that I would not have driven off the lot and been perfectly happy in. I was looking for something very specific though, a Toyota FJ Cruiser, and they had a great car for me, well below Blue Book value. The employees are extremely nice and very helpful. I went to Newton Auto Group looking for an Audi Wagon as my family needed a bit more room than our current Audi. After driving the newer and very nice Audi A4 Wagon, unfortunately I was not in love with the car. There was nothing wrong with it at all, it just didn't feel like the car I had hoped it would be. We did however also drive a BMW wagon parked next to the Audi, and it was love at first drive. Tony went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even let me drive the car home to let my handicap mom see it. Because of Tony's exceptional service and the car just felt right, looked brand new, and drove like a dream, I signed the paperwork as soon as I get back. My trade was worth a little less than I hoped for, but I felt it was a fair exchange for not having to sell the car myself. Tony told us it would take a couple of days to get everything with financing done. For lack of better words, he busted his ass and we took the car home the next afternoon. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I have received and will happily recommend them to my friends.
