After we contacted them they did put in a new camera, but this required bringing the car in a second time - and at this point we had very little trust in their work. I have since seen they billed by insurance company for more money, which doesn't make a lot of sense to me since the job was done minus the camera they billed for but didn't replace. I came across this body shop through my car insurance and will gladly return because they have earned my trust. Not only did they repair my car without flaw, they also went out of their way to educate me on what else I could get out of my insurance to improve the value of my vehicle. Ethically, of course. To top it off, the owner stayed behind 30 extra minutes as I was delayed in traffic on a Friday and then personally assisted me with my son's baby seat. He also helped me to transfer my groceries from the rental to my repaired vehicle. I was so grateful that I was happy to offer him a $40 tip which he refused. Talk about integrity. One of their drivers parked directly in front of my driveway and blocked my access for…read moreapproximately 15 minutes. At first, I assumed he was preparing to tow a vehicle because it was street cleaning day. However, there was plenty of room for him to pull his truck forward. Since street cleaning was taking place on my side of the street, there was no legitimate reason for him to remain directly in front of my driveway for 15 minutes while waiting to perform a tow. When I politely asked if he could move his truck until he was actually ready to tow the vehicle, he refused and simply rolled up his window. I called the company to report the issue. During that time, the driver began recording me, mocked me, and made exaggerated gestures instead of acting professionally. I informed the company representative who in turn told me she would contact the driver, and within a minute he drove away. What makes this even more frustrating is that he never towed the vehicle he claimed he was there to tow. My driveway was blocked the entire time for no legitimate reason. Professional tow truck operators should treat members of the public with respect and should never refuse a reasonable request to stop blocking someone's driveway. I hope the company addresses this driver's conduct and provides better customer service going forward. I didn't want to go to Tesla for repair as it's a pretty far hike from the city, and I have had long wait times with them. World Auto Body is about 2 blocks from where I live. I felt fortunate that there was an auto body shop that close to me to even go to. Made the drop off/pick up that much easier for us. We went through insurance. It took 2 weeks to repair.
