I recently had a minor fender-bender and had to get some body work done. My insurance company recommended All Star, and it was conveniently located, so I tried them out. I couldn't be happier with the results! They replaced one wheel (a custom rim), painted a quarter panel, and replaced the back bumper. I dropped off the car on Friday morning and it was ready the next Thursday morning (faster than other body shops I have dealt with). In addition, they do a FREE interior/exterior detailing with all body work, so my car looks brand new. They also let me drop off my rental car there, so the whole process was very easy. I would absolutely go back here again if I ever need body work again! read more

After contacting the owner, Robert Cucurull, and being completely ignored, I filed a small claims action in Salem District Court to recover the $1,500 or so it will cost to fix the electrical problems and botched paint job. To my surprise, all three gentlemen, Big Bob, Julio and Little Bob all showed up in court. Bob Cucurull refused to sit with a mediator early on in an effort to come to some sort of compromise. So it went to trial early in the afternoon. Needless to say, I won. The standard for a professional and workmanlike service does NOT include bubbles, scratches and holes. Why they preferred to sit in court for five hours instead of fixing their mistakes was beyond me. In Little Bob's defense, I'm sure he was told to be there by the other two. Now I'll wait to see if they honor the court's judgment or if I'll have the sue them to pay on that as well. read more

I recently moved and needed to rent a moving truck. After comparing prices online, I found that Budget Truck Rentals was the best option because of its pricing and truck availability. The estimate that came with the reservation came out to $201.20. The location I chose (dealer) was All Star Woburn in Salem, MA. On June 30th, 2018, I picked up the moving truck from the dealer, All Star Woburn in Salem, MA. When I got to the location, the agent, a female, asked me to sign some forms and give a credit card for a deposit. As she handed me each form to sign, she explicitly told me what the contents of each form outlined. In other words, as she handed me each form to fill out and sign, she told me what each form was for. Nowhere in the explanation from her, did she mention anything about opting into, singing up for, or consenting to receive any kind of additional protection, insurance, or coverage on the rental moving truck. I explicitly denied these options when I made the online reservation. I had no reason to suspect that I was signing up for anything additional when picking up the truck since she told me what each form entailed and she told me the card was just for the deposit. I had the moving truck until Tuesday July 3, 2018. When I returned the truck, I didn't sign anything else, just handed the keys and was offered a receipt. When I initially saw the bill, I saw that the price was higher than the estimated amount, but due to the hectic nature of moving, I didn't get a chance to discuss it with them at that time. On Friday, I looked over the receipt more carefully and saw that I was charged for $307.86. On the itemized receipt I noticed that I was charged a total of $110.97 for something labeled "Physical Damage Waiver". So I called Budget's 1800 number to inquire about this. When I spoke to someone there, the rep from Budget told me that they don't have the option to add any kind of optional coverage, but that once the customer declines online only the dealer where you pick up the truck can add it. So the Budget rep told me to call the dealer, All Star of Woburn When I called All Star of Woburn about this charge and told them during my online reservation, I opted out of this option and I did not consent to it during the pickup of the vehicle. The rep from All Star, a male, told me that he "does not add or subtract anything to the contract but just opens and closes what comes through the computer" and he told me talk to Budget about the issue. So then I called Budget again and told them the scenario. The Budget agent, Mike (Agent ID: 37817) told me the same info that the original Budget rep told me about only the dealer having the ability to add additional coverage. He then advised me to talk to All Star of Woburn again at which point I expressed to him my frustration of being tossed back and forth between these two businesses and that I'd like to talk to his manager. I was told to wait on hold as Mike looked for an available supervisor. After waiting on hold for a while, Mike returned and informed that a supervisor was unavailable, but he took the liberty to call All Star of Woburn to talk to them about this. Mike said that the agent at All Star recognized my scenario and expressed to Mike the same thing he told me about not adding anything to the contract. When Mike informed the All Star rep that he does in fact have that ability, Mike informed me that the All Star rep "lied" about this ability to add optional coverage and "was rude" and hung up on Mike. Mike told me that he would escalate the case about this rep and this dealer as they should not be working with Budget. But Mike could not get me to a supervisor nor connect me with the corporate office as he said "they're off to lunch an unavailable". I was disappointed to hear that there were no managers available and even Mike as an employee apparently couldn't contact anyone at this own corporate office. The only other option that Mike offered was giving me an email address to a corporate email address (BTR-CustomerService@avis...) and tell them about the scenario. Additionally, I've used multiple moving trucks, and this one was by the dirtiest one I've used. Everyone who worked there either was on their phone or looked like they didn't want to be there and was rude. I highly do not recommend doing business here. read more

Being one of the pickiest, fussiest, and pain the a$$ people regarding who works on my truck, when, and how long it takes I knew as soon as I was rear ended that I was going to be in for a long ride. With past horrible experiences with other body shops I decided to try a new one. Passing by All Star Enterprises every day on my way to work and seeing their lot constantly full of high end cars like BMWs and other luxury cars on a daily basis, I knew these guys must be doing something right. I was correct on every front. From the minute I walked in the door and said I don't want to be put in a rental that's the size of a micro-machine, they took care of me and made sure it was something comparable, in my case I dropped off my Nissan Xterra and got a Nissan Murano in exchange. The repair took exactly two weeks, mostly due my insurance company sending out an independent appraiser which started off the appraisal with lies (Viking Appraisal out of Canton, don't even waste your time with these folks) and then having to wait for additional supplements to come through. The end result, a perfectly fixed truck, that looks just as good if not better than the day I bought it. I had an aftermarket backup camera which was reinstalled perfectly and a trailer hitch that needed the harness custom fit. The repair work was the best I've seen, and their detail job on the vehicle was better than the Nissan dealership when I bought it. I really didn't think my truck being a 6 year old truck could look this good. I'll be sure to send some referrals their way in the future. read more

Treat them with respect, you will get amazing service. I had an accident in my 2013 Range Rover that resulted in a broken axle and lots of mechanical damage. I met with Julio and Little Bob and explained how important having quality parts and labor was for this job. They literally fought all the battles with insurance and RR dealerships to make sure all parts were new and genuine. They even hand delivered the car to me upon completion and made sure everything was running perfectly. Talk to them with respect, ask questions, and ask for the shop tour - very impressive state of the art equipment. You won't be disappointed by this place. read more

Great customer service! After getting into a rear end collision on Lowell Street, All Star Towing not only towed my car to the auto body shop, but gave me a lift home (in the opposite direction!) after hours. Returned my phone calls promptly and kept me up to date with the appraisal of the vehicle, which took two trips from the insurance appraiser. After the car was deemed a total loss they helped to unload vehicle, remove plates, and jump the battery so that I could remove my cd. The employees were definitely friendly and helpful. read more

I had a dent in my back left passenger side door. They did a great job fixing the dent and painting. It was fixed in a week, and my car looks great. The car was cleaned inside and out for me and it looks brand new. Very happy and would recommend to anyone! Melanee C. read more

I recently had the need to have my car towed for service and when I called AAA they dispatched Allstar as the towing company. In route to the service destination, my car fell off the flatbed. When the car fell off, it jump started our starter (which was what needed to be replaced). Since the car was now "running" the company told us it was fine to drive and left us there. My car was totaled due to the fall. Now accidents happen and although I am sure somehow the vehicle was not properly tied down on the flat bed, what is even more infuriating is the way this company has handled the situation. They failed to bring insurance information to the scene when called back by the police, and after numerous attempts have not provided the information to my insurance company. Luckily my insurance processed the claim to total my vehicle and will go after them for the necessary information, but in the meantime I can only wonder how this would be for someone who had insurance that would not go to this level for their customer. At the end of the day I was Allstars customer and they totaled my car and have done everything they can to make trying to handle this terrible event even more difficult. Personally if I use AAA again I will tell them not to send Allstar towing. read more

All Star repainted my hood and fender after they were damaged when snow fell off a building onto my hood. It was covered by insurance. The paint mysteriously peeled and All Star was awesome taking car of the mystery of why the paint peeled and resanded and repainted with a smile and in a timely manner. read more

Allstar Collision Center in Salem is by far the worst auto shop I've ever worked with, and unfortunately for my cars and my insurance rates, I definitely know what I'm talking about! Terrible customer service and a total rip off. If you want professional service, a reasonable price and timely repairs, go elsewhere. read more

I have had problems with various rentals before and I have learned from that experience. I do agree that nothing is explained as far as the paper work goes but your responsible for your own actions. I went over the truck and asked if I could video tape it as we inspected for damage, staff had no problems with that. Rented the truck which was surprisingly very clean and in great shape. All-star does require you purchase their insurance which is usually optional, but hey, I can understand that as a business owner. They did inform me that it could be waived with written proof from my insurance saying that a box truck would be covered (Mapfre doesn't cover it). I was skeptical about various views about Budget Rentals themselves but this was a positive experience from All-Star after my first rental request wasn't available. I would recommend All-star for your Budget Truck Rental. Just make sure you read your rental agreement in detail and make sure you document any damage to the truck to avoid possible discrepancies. read more

I had some scratches and dents on my front and rear bumper that All Star had fixed and painted. They did an awesome job! I dropped the car off on Wednesday and they told me it would be ready on Friday to pick up which I thought was really good! Then they called me on Thursday to tell me the car was ready! They washed and detailed the car too! Bob and his guys are great and awesome to work with! I wouldn't go any where else! read more

This is the wort towing company and auto shop I've ever dealt with . I got in a car accident, the police called them to tow it. I went the next day to pick up the car. They didn't want to give it to me. they said they will charge me 600 $ for the towing, but if you let us fix it we only gonna charge 300$. so they charged me for the repair and the towing about 18000$. I showed the pictures to my mechanic, and he said, it's not gonna cost more than 1,000 to fix it. anyway, when i got the car, it was still missed up. The alignment and the tires were messed up. I gave them the car again to fix the problem and they put me on hold for about a week. And after I finally got it. The car's alarm system keeps going off for no reason even tough, I told them about it the second time. They take advantage of people and never delver their work in time. I had a really bad experience with all of them, and i went to the salem police, and they said that they can't do anything about it, and I have to go to court, and that's ofcourse will cost me more read more
