The first time I came to them was after an accident (my bumper was practically hanging off) and they resolved my issues while I was away on vacation. I picked up my car two days ago where it was in for bumper and trim repair. During the damage inspection Paul pointed out everal minor areas of nicks, dings and scratches that he said could be easily addressed, and also offered to fully detail the car before i retrieved it. The car is six years old and when I drive it home it looked and felt showroom new condition. The work was done on time as promised, and Paul checked in with me at the start and the finish. Took my car to Paul and Allston Repair in April 2023, received estimate for front end damage. Repairs were done and were far over the estimate--with work being done without me being contacted. Discussed with Paul and settled on a price. Then I noted my horn did not work. Brought it back to Allston Collison Center as thought it might be related to bumper replacement. Was told that relays/fuses and horn were checked---and were all in working order--- and that I needed to replace clockspring in steering wheel which was unrelated to front end and would cost around 600-700$. I thought it would be odd for clockspring to stop working all the sudden. -------Brought it back to my place and later checked and found that the fuse for the horn had been removed and when I replaced it the horn worked perfectly.------- Very suspicious and at best sloppy work. Will never bring my car here again and recommend you avoid if possible. read more

I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of repair to my 2009 Honda Civic. While the repair took considerable time due to parts availability, Paul assured me along the way that he was doing all possible to get the job time as quickly as possible. When I got the car back I noticed that one of the lug nuts was missing its "cap" and I messaged Paul. Paul and his crew did an absolutely top-notch job with my Subaru Outback. Pieces of cement from the garage where in park my car fell onto my hood and front bumper, doing damage that was more significant than it appeared. Paul worked his magic with the adjuster from Liberty Mutual (not known for being the best at paying for things) and got me a new front end. I just had the most tremendous experience at ACC and had to share. My regular mechanic is across the street, and after a collision that left my car leaking god-knows-what, he recommended I bring my car over to ACC and talk to Paul. I can't imagine you can get customer service as good anywhere else than from Mark and Paul. They care about their customers, and the first question they asked me when I got out of my damaged car was "are you okay". They sat with me for almost an hour helping me figure out howto file everything with insurance and get it all settled. As a 20 something first time car owner (with parents who live far out of state), I was so overwhelmed and their guidance was much appreciated. From that moment forward, they constantly communicated with me about the status of my repairs and did everything they could to make this a painless experience for me. My car is about 12 years old, so understandably it took some time to get all the parts. Paul was so helpful with everything and went above and beyond what I expected any body shop to do when it came to pricing and accommodating me with a rental car. Paul and Mark took care of everything from start to finish and I hardly had anything to think about during the insurance process. The car looks like its never seen an accident and it is running great. Paul walked me through everything when I came to pick it up and even offered to let me leave the rental there for him to coordinate pickup. Brought my car here for a front bumper/fender repair. ASC did a good job. They put on new bumper, fender, and light, and the car looks great. The only drawback is the waiting time. The process is sluggish and it took two and a half months for the service. Paul initially asked me to leave a deposit before inspecting my car. I agreed, but later they found additional damage and have to order more parts. They also postponed the completion date couple times for various reasons according to them: manufacturer shipped parts too slow/shipped the wrong parts, there wasn't enough space to place my car, they were short of mechanics, etc. This disrupted my schedule as I couldn't have my car back on time. Still, they took a good care of your car, and the team is supportive. read more

l've always driven past here but while searching for a place to fix my car, this place was top rated and in the end, I've also got to say, they deserve a 5 star review. Customer service and the work they do on cars here is TOP NOTCH. My car was backed up into and visually it doesn't look like much was damaged. I brought my car here for a free initial estimate and Abel walked me through all the obvious and potential damages. I was going through the person's insurance at Liberty Mutual and conveniently Paul from Allston Collision knew the adjustor, everything from photos to car fixing to payment was super easy. Since they knew each other, there is no worrying about communications between Allston Collision and Liberty Mutual. I dropped off my car and Courtney (so sorry if I spelled it wrong) took care of the paper work and emailing of things to whomever I needed, she is super nice :) It took about a week to fix my car but they called me in between to update me on progress. I picked my car up today and brought in the check from Liberty Mutual, so I did not have to deal with any of the payments. Paul and Abel walked me through all the fixes of my car, they showed me all the old parts that were damaged and all the receipts for the parts they ordered. My favorite thing about Allston Collision is that they work closely with the Toyota in Wellesley, so they get actual Toyota parts. I drive a Toyota. The previous places I got my car fixed at did a good job but used different vendors and the parts were not as snug fit. They are open early in the morning (7am) which was the reason I approached them to beginwith. I was able to basically handle all my dealings with them before getting to work. 2. They've been in business for a long time and have a relationship with appraisers, such that I could give them the initial appraisal for the repairs I needed and they communicated directly with them and the insurance company to figure out whatever was needed. 3. The repairs took less than a business week. I dropped the car off on Monday and it was ready by Friday. 4. Paul and the rest of the team are extremely nice, friendly and professional. Been going to Paul for 10 years. Paul has worked on all 3 of the cars I've had since moving to Boston. I searched far and wide for a body shop that was reasonable and competent. I would not go anywhere else. Paul and his team are extremely professional and transparent about costs. Keeping your car in pristine condition can be difficult in Boston, and the city can be especially unforgiving for those living in the city and have to park on the street. Sometimes you just don't want to submit damages to insurance and decide to instead pay out of pocket. This is where Paul comes in for me. A few years ago, I got in a really bad accident when a cab hit the front end of my car. Being new to the area, I chose Allston Collision Center because it was close. This place had my car for over THREE months (!) and every time I called to inquire about it, I got the run around. "Oh, we're waiting for a part to come in. We'll call you in a few days." (they never would). Or, "The guy working on your car is not in today. Call back tomorrow." It got to the point where I was worried I might not even get my car back. And to top it off, when they were "done", they had apparently forgotten about one huge scrape on the front end. Nice. Will not go back here, ever. The only positive thing I can say is that my car was nice and clean when they returned it, but I am pretty sure most places do this anyway. read more

Dogshit. I'm not happy with this place at all. I have reason to believe that this place is in on some kind of scam with at least 1 auto insurance company. I have a very long story attached to this that I won't repeat here, but I feel like I basically got screwed here. The employee I delt with, Mark, never ever ever called me back. I bugged the hell out of him for about a year because he needed to fax me a copy of some paperwork and he never did. Now i'm out $400 dollars because of that. (long story). When they did my larger repair, I also had them repair a broken side mirror. They did a total half ass job, using substandard parts. I can barely adjust this mirror. When I mentioned it, they said "we only charged you $80 dollars for that, what did you expect?". Fuck them. read more
