I own a 2008 Range Rover Sport, and I've recently been working on fixing all of the cosmetic details on this amazing car which included severely scratched and scraped rims that was bothering the mess out of me. I received great recommendations from Brookline Foreign Motors where I go to get my car serviced, and Foreign Auto Body Co. In Allston MA, to get my rims refurbished by Rim Shine LLC. They gave me Sean's number and I called him immediately. I gave Sean a brief description of my car and explained that I was hoping to get my Range Rover Sport rims looking like new again. He told me to come by since I had the day off and didn't live too far, so he could take a look at the wheels. As soon as I got there, he gave me a handshake and was extremely nice and welcoming. I honestly felt like I had known him for years. He took a look at my wheels, and his exact words were " I'm going to hook you up, you are going to be very impressed". He then asked me when I wanted to have the work done, and I said "today" since I had the day off. Without hesitation, he said to me "we will have your car done by the end of day today". The fact that he was willing to accommodate me without an appointment, and he was already pretty busy that day, had me sold and I knew my car was in great hands. The customer service that him and his staff showed me goes BEYOND any perfect rating I can give them on here. Throughout the day Sean kept me updated with the progress of his work and even went the extra step to send me picture messages of each rim-wheel he had finished. I couldn't believe how new they looked and the curb scratches and scrapes were completely gone! I was VERY IMPRESSED when I picked my car up at the end of the day. Thanks to Sean and his crew, I have a brand new looking car again! I showed my little brother the work he did to my car, and now he will be getting his rims refurbished with Rim Shine LLC. It all started when I brushed my right rear wheel against a curb. I thought that I would need to buy a brand new rim to replace my damaged one. When I contacted the seller of my rims, it turns out it was backordered for 2-3 weeks. Instead of waiting, I began to look around for alternate solutions. That's when I stumbled across various companies that would be able to repair the rim damage to make it look brand new. I read the reviews of some of the major competitors and although many said that they did a decent job, they also noted that its employees weren't always the most professional or friendly. Sean was friendly, helpful, professional, and did a great job. I had some pretty chewed up rims on my Mini. He explained the options of machining and painting and provided before and after photos. I decided on machining but, once he set to work he became concerned that the rims were structurally not good candidates for machining and that it might visibly damage the rims. He suggested painting, again providing before and after shots of Mini rims and assured me it would look great. He was right. My wheels look like new--smooth and shiny, almost creamy with nary a scuff or a scratch on any part of the wheel. You'd never know they sideswiped a curb before. Excellent craftsmanship. I can't speak to how well the work holds upon because I just got them done. It took one day longer than he estimated but that was because of the change in repair method, not any delay on his part. God bless RimShine! My dear wife had a mishap driving my 2008 Saab TurboX. She hit the curb and and mangled its front passenger alloy wheels. These wheels were unique to the only eight hundred TurboX model that SAAB imported in 2008 to the United States, so it could have cost me $1000 to replace a single rim due to their limited supply. I texted a photo of the damaged rim to Sean at RimShine. He called me and explained that he could not guarantee that he could even get close to 80% of the rim's original condition. I pleaded with him to try to just "clean the wheel up". Sean agreed and told me that if I did not like the way the wheel came out, I would owe him nothing. Rimshine does a great job repairing and refinishing cosmetic damage on wheels. I had pretty bad curb damage on a couple of my wheels and thought that I'd get them cleaned up. My first call was to my dealer who told me that they outsourced their cosmetic wheel repairs to another company (probably rimshine or one of its competitors), which meant that I had to accommodate to their third party's schedule. The dealer also quoted me a price that was 50% higher than that of rimshine. I decided to look elsewhere and I'm glad I did. Sean and his crew are very easy to contact via phone and try to accommodate their customers as much as they can. They keep you in the loop throughout the process and are very appreciative of your business. I wouldn't hesitate to come back for wheel service or refer rimshine to my friends and family. I have a BMW lease expiring and the pre-inspection showed $1600 in charges for wheel excess wear and tear. I contacted Sean who looked at the wheels and gave an honest assessment of what could definitely be repaired and what might be marginal. He told me three of the wheels would be perfect and one could be problematic. I decided to have all four wheels repaired, and mad an appointment. The results were amazing. The three wheels look perfect as promised. And the fourth wheel even looks very good - it should be well within the BMW normal wear guidelines. I curbed a couple of my Enkei rs05rr's. Some might say it was user error, I blame randomly moving curbstones. In either case I ended up with about a foot of curb rash running around the rim of each tire. I called Rimshine, dropped my wheels off, and picked them up the next day. Perfection! Looked just like they did coming out of the box. I dunno which was larger, my smile or Shawns smile at my smile. This gentleman clearly takes pride in his work. Fast, quality work, and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back the next time someone puts a curbstone in, clearly, the middle of the road. Good day all! I recently scuffed up my Ford Edge rim and I was starting to shop around for a new rim. As you all know Rims can run you into a few $$$$ but I did my homework and came across Sean's reviews up in Allston. I wasn't to sure if it would work since I'm one of those particular people who wants the car to look nice. I put the Rim in Sean's hands and when he called me to pick it up I couldn't believe it. It looked brand new and I couldn't even make out where the Rim was originally damaged. Sean is highly recommended and even worth driving out to the city to have it done if you don't live in town. AMAZING work!!! I called at 3:30 today to find out an estimate for getting my husbands rims repaired (he had terrible road rash from hitting a curb) and not only did they make it convenient by letting me text them pics of the rims, they also told me to come down and they would stay open late to repair today. 2 hours later both rims look amazing, you could never tell that they were damaged before. And even though they don't work on chrome rims they also gave me tips on keeping the chrome rims on my car clean. Great customer service they didn't talk down to me or make me feel clueless how some places sometimes do. Oh and very reasonably priced. I give them my highest recommendation. read more

I had a great experience at Rimshine today. A few days ago I had some curb damage on my Land Rover LR4 on the passenger side wheel trying to get into a narrow parking garage. I called up Rimshine and they told me to just stop by. When I arrived, they looked at my wheel, gave me a price and told me they would do it immediately and have it done in an hour and a half. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, the passenger side wheel looked amazing! The wheel looked brand new and identical to the other three wheels. This place is AMAZING. Came here with a destroyed rim on my Infiniti and it was fixed to brand new condition. This must be the best rim repair in the state if not the country. Would recommend this place to anyone I know or talk to for any sort of rim damage. Now that I know that this place exists I will NEVER worry about damaging a rim again. Curbed my wheel pretty good on my brand new car. Found Rimshine online. Contacted Sean 2 days before Christmas; sent him a couple of pix, and he says bring it in tomorrow (which was Christmas Eve) we'll take care of it. Went there first thing on Christmas Eve... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I have some custom made brushed aluminum forged wheels on my car and hit a curb with one of them. The wheel manufacturer quoted $300.00 to refinish the whole wheel with a 3 week turnaround time. I contacted RimShine and they touched up only the area that was damaged. I dropped off my car this morning... $75.00 and 4 hours later I was in their parking lot on my knees in front of the wheel, unable to see where they did the repair. After hitting a curb, I was quoted $850 for a new custom grey Alloy rim for my truck. In under 2 hours and for $125 my rim was filled in and painted to the exact color. It looked like they just came off the assembly line. Their work was flawless. I actually had to have them point out the area they fixed (the damaged area was over 5 inches long) because I couldn't tell what was previously damaged and what wasn't.
