Jake is as wrong as one could be and shows he is not even trying to understand the situation and fix it. It's a small stuff for him but a happy customer may not matter to him. Everything he has said is cooked up. It was a simple case of changing 4 tyres and getting the vehicle in order. The customer does not understand the complications of the process. A Range Rover Autobiography LWB costs upwards of $200,000 and is highly computer dependent.. The Range Rover right front tire went over some sharp object. AAA used the spare wheel to replace it. TGG had to either use the wheel that was replaced for the front right or whatever their expertise taught them. The customer paid the money they quoted and after that realised that TPMS was not working. There had been no prior conversation about TPMS. There was no warning or suggestion to that effect by Jimmy. When informed about it Jimmy was rude rather than offering to fix the problem. Jake who claimed to be the owner sounds equally anti resolution and happy to trash the customer he charged $2000 Instead he again lies about the incident with the locksmith. By the way the technician was a fine person and it was all about communication., the locksmith Jake refers to was supposed to arrive in 25 minutes and charge $75. He arrived in 1 hour 45 minutes because 2 other locksmiths contacted by the paging comps y couldn't make it. When he was being paid the locksmith said he would charge $100 but the dispatching company said $380. The locksmith intervened and decided to do extra work to make up for the robbery the dispatch company was indulging in. He was customer oriented. Jake is not. read more

I was going in a short trip and realized that my tires were not in the best shape. Tread was worn and although I'm no expert, they seemed like they were ready to be replaced. Jimmy was super responsive and explained to me in detail how they operate. They were super punctual and efficient. They did the whole thing at my house. Tires get balanced in a machine in their truck. No alignment but that was ok for the immediate need of getting safe new tires. I probably could have gotten it for less money but time was my problem and had to juggle it with working. I got very good quality tires from them. Michelin all season. Another update: "We weren't the original installers for your winter wheel and tire package which you purchased from Tire Rack and therefore we do not know the exact lug hardware that was sent originally for the aftermarket wheels." Ya I didn't purchase a "winter wheel and tire package" from Tire Rack for the Kia. I purchased a set of Blizzak tires and had them mounted to the Kia wheels. I purchased a a set of BBS wheels with Michelin summer tires. Again, I don't know what passed between you and Tire Rack but in the end Tire Rack shipped me a spare set of lug nuts for a completely different set of wheels for a completely different car. I fixed the problem with aftermarket BBS wheels on the Kia myself by using the correct aftermarket lug nuts with the BBS wheels. I'm beginning to remember why I didn't update the review... lol It recently came to my attention that I never updated this review. I definitely should. I had My Tire Guys come out pretty much every year to swap out summer and winter tires until April 2020. It was time to swap out the Kia Stinger OEM wheels with winter tires for the aftermarket wheels with the all seasons. After they did so and left I realized they made a mistake and installed aftermarket wheels with the Kia lug nuts. That's not good. The Kia lung nuts were shorter than typically aftermarket lug nuts because of the odd Kia wheel design. What does that mean? It means that the lug nuts wouldn't be able to hold the aftermarket wheel in place and the wheels would be in danger of coming off. As a matter of fact, the lug nuts starts coming loose (hand loose) after a few miles. I contacted the owner and he was adamant that this wasn't true. As a matter of fact, he was so adamant, that he contact Tire Rack and told them I had lost the correct lug nuts. I'll never know exactly what he told Tire Rack, but Tire Rack shipped out a new set of lug nuts. For my (NC) Miata. Not the Kia. Which makes sense, since I had recently purchased a new set of wheels from Tire Rack for my Miata, but the Kia aftermarket BBS wheels had been purchased several years prior. Again, I don't know what Jake told Tire Rack, but clearly he didn't mention that the car in question was a Kia. I ended up installing the correct aftermarket lug nuts on the Kia wheels myself (not the ones for the Miata thank you very much). I never called My Tire Guys back and I never let anyone else ever install wheels on the Kia (or Miata) ever again. Why post this update now? For whatever reason, Jake complimented my original positive review. Yelp notified me and I suddenly realized I had never updated my review. read more

Super super impressed with my experience just now with My Tire Guys. They were able to diagnose what was causing the leak in my tire and were able to fix it up in their truck. Josh and Manny were incredibly friendly and are super knowledgable. They made sure to explain to me what was going on and how they would fix and test the tire. One of the best experiences I've had getting my car worked on and maybe one of the best customer experiences I've had period. Also having your tires taken care of for you in your driveway is way better than slapping on the donut and going to a shop and having to wait for it. Don't believe the hype, unless you just need them to change a tire, they are not what they advertise. Ask them to change four tires and install one new TPMS device only to find out that if I don't use their devices it won't work correctly. They charge for something that they didn't do, and then have the nerve to want to upcharge exorbitantly for something they should have done in the first place.... I waited two weeks for something that should have only taken 3 days ... just because I wanted to believe the reviews, was horrible experience you better off finding somebody on the street. read more

I had My Tire Guys come to my residence yesterday to mount and balance a set of tires on a new set of rims and to install a set of TPMS sensors. Then had them remove my existing wheels from the car and install the new set. Everything went perfectly. They were on time, very professional, very courteous, and very careful of my car, the old wheels, and the new wheels. They beat the online store's price on a set of tires as well as a couple of local chain stores. They also did not try to upsell me a bunch of stuff I neither wanted nor needed. The price I paid was the exact price I was quoted. As a bonus, they were willing to answer any questions I had about the process, without making me feel like an idiot. My wife will need tires next year, and I'll have My Tire Guys do the work for sure. read more

It was a tire losing air pressure and Jake covered all the bases on what might happen when the guys came out. Then he reminded me that I could have road hazard warranty coverage depending on what the techs found. He was right. Long story short I got the tire replaced and a warranty claimed was handled by My Tire Guys with no hassles. They were also very careful to protect the driveway from any damage from the car jacks. You might spend a bit more than going to a tire shop but factor in Covid and waiting around a tire shop or walking the streets and it's a no brainer. Jake and I emailed about my wishes for new wheels, my choice was backordered, I waited, they came in, he order them (distributor computer said they fit as did all the wheel configurators I used), they came, My Tires Guys technicians put them on, they did not fit. They could have left them on, but the tire valve was either too close or touching the caliper. They would not leave me with shoddy job. We connected again, I chose new wheels, they are awesome! The touchless Corghi machine to mount the wheels onto my tires is just one example of the ways they are a cut above others. The fact that they came to my job to do the work, and the courteous and professional manner of everyone involved really made me happy. Customer service is so important to me.
