We live down the Cape and my wife was visiting her mother in her hometown of Waltham and Lexington when she got a nail in her tire. She was told her to bring it to Tom Lyons Firestone which is now Sullivan Tire. After fifteen to twenty minutes before they acknowledge she was there they told to bring it back tomorrow and they could not fix it today. She was then told she had to move her car though at that time it was flat. She asked if they could fill her tire so she could make it home. After another twenty minutes' no one came out to help her. I was on my way from the Cape that was at least another twenty to thirty minutes filled her tire with a pump and we went to Hogan Tire. At Hogan Tire we were greeted right off and the service manager and every one of your staff was just Awesome. After a short wait you had her car done and she was out the door in less then thirty minutes. The mechanic told me that my car didn't pass, due to brake issues. He offered to access the brakes and fix any problems. They put a rejection sticker on my windshield. Since this effort could potentially be an expensive effort and I didn't know the place, I was reluctant. But the owner assured me that they would do a good job. So I made an appointment for the next day. Still has reservations about them doing the work. My neighbor suggested reading any Yelp reviews before moving forward. I did this and was shocked at all the bad reviews. Told them in person the next day that I couldn't do business with them, due to the bad reviews, and drove away before the mechanic could respond. Made an appointment with Direct Tire in Watertown, who I had been going to for about 30 years. They are great! Susan, the representative, looked up my car in Carfax, She found that my brake and rotors had been replaced in early June of last year by Parkway Toyota. I bought the car from them a few weeks later. They gave me a loaner car, too. Thank you, Susan and Godfrey, and thank you, Direct Tire and Parkway Toyota for being so honest!! This is why I have gone to Direct Tire for so long.

There were no issues of "this job is too small for us". It took about an hour and cost about $45. The mechanic even came to me asking where the wheel lock is because he didn't want to look through my car. That was considerate of him! While I waited (there are 2 chairs), I kept seeing repeat customers come through. The workers seemed to know everyone by name. This is clearly a family run business and they must serve everyone well for them to come back. I sold my previous vehicle expecting to take delivery of the car I purchased from Eastside, and I have now been without a vehicle for well over a month. Because Eastside still has my money, I also cannot purchase a replacement vehicle while I continue waiting for the refund they promised. I wired Eastside Motoring the full purchase price for a 2018 BMW M3 on July 14. The car was never delivered because Lorenzo said he was unable to obtain the title from the previous owner due to an unresolved dispute. He personally confirmed in writing on August 15 that I would receive a refund, but I am still waiting. I have called, emailed, texted, and left voicemails, including contacting Lorenzo on his personal cell, only to have promised callbacks and updates repeatedly go unfulfilled. I'm disgusted by how this has been handled and have completely lost confidence in this dealership's integrity. I will update this review if the situation is resolved.
