Once I frequented this shop more the more the issues came. went to change my exhaust manifold and going to this shop has been the worst mistake I've made. Spend around $260 to get the new gasket and to install $260 is a generous amount for this repair. I got my car back with no gasket and half of my bolts switched out to old rusted bolts basically got switched out for old car parts. The younger guy tells me he changed my gasket initially I couldnt here the noise of broken gasket but after the second time I started my car the sound was back not sure if he just glued the gasket together or what. But that has been the worst job anyone has ever done even after paying $260 he denied me when I went back to get it fixed with out charge couldn't even get a refund for being robbed for my parts. If you go to this shop make sure the older gentleman attends you and works on your car, the younger kid seems to get work from him sad case for customers

I explained to Dee what we and AAA thought the problem may be (a bad alternator or serpentine belt) and Dee said they would take a look and have it repaired today. He gave me an estimate over the phone and had the car repaired in a few hours at the exact price quoted. It turns out it was a bad alternator, after all. I am so grateful for Dee and his shop for taking my daughter's car in last minute and ensuring she'd have a working vehicle for her first day of senior year of college tomorrow morning. This situation is definitely needed to be investigated to ensure all clients receive the same level of respect, and applying the same policies and procedures consistently to every customer, and avoiding any form of discrimination or favoritism; essentially treating everyone with fairness and dignity as a customer.

Needless to say, I was devastated. Had to make a hit and run claim because the neighbor would not admit anything, even though the paint transfer on the door and rust on the ground were 100% from her car. My appraiser recommended Classic, so I called and made an appointment. When I went there on a Wednesday, Tony said to bring it in on Monday so I wasn't wasting my rental while they researched doors and also the weekend passing. I thought that was very considerate of him! Dropped it off on the Monday at about 8:15am, and they set up the rental. Got picked up and had my rental and was at work by 9am. Not bad! I mentioned to Tony that there was a preexisting scratch on the hood and on the bumper that I would like a quote for. He said don't worry, we'll take care of you. The car was ready Thursday afternoon, and I picked it up on Friday. As soon as I saw it, it was like a weight had been lifted. The new door looked and worked perfectly, and the paint was an exact match. You would never know that it was new! Also, I couldn't find the scratch on the hood and bumper! They gave me a great price on the extra work I had them do, and it looks like it just rolled out of the factory. All in all, they took an awful situation and made it into a GREAT experience. Tony and Jimmy take pride in their work and their customers and it shows. I've never had this kind of experience with a mechanic or auto body shop before, and I will definitely come back in the future, and I'm telling all my friends and family! Thanks guys!

They replaced the starter, A/C compressor, fan belt, brakes, and struts, and also fixed my heater. The service was fast, the pricing was very reasonable, and by far, this was the BEST experience I've ever had getting work done on my truck. The mechanic that my friends and I had used for years recently retired, so finding a new auto repair shop that I could trust was really important to me. I was so happy with my experience here that I've already started handing out their business cards to friends who were also looking for a new mechanic. I dropped off my 2004 Toyota Prius this morning to have the front bumper replaced (after an incident in which a mack truck clipped the front corner of my parked car in January) and expected to pick up my car this evening with a new bumper. Pretty minimal expectations, honestly. But they managed to go above and beyond! They did a fantastic job on my bumper, cleaned my headlights (something that has been on my to-do list for years now, so that is a huge life saver), did an excellent interior/exterior clean, and even left a little goodie bag in the car. Let us also go back to the part where the did all of this in a day! When was the last time you had car work done in 1 day?! As an added bonus, the people there are an absolute delight to work with! My husband and I are absolutely tickled by this experience and will absolutely be using and recommending Salem Auto Body for any and all future car needs!
