I usually go to the Oakley Location, however I'm in the Kenwood area which is convenient. Nice that it is across the street from the mall and next to the movie theatre. I like this location better, the wait is not that long on weekends and alittle more roomier than the Dewey's in Oakley. Service is quick, food is always awesome (my favorite is the wild mushroom pizza and Peppercorn ranch salad), and clean. read more

Heard this place was very good, so decided to give it a try. It was not very good. It was Fan-Friggin'-tastic! Had the Bronx Bomber. Super fresh ingredients. Sauce has just a tiny zip to it. The crushed red peppers they give are actually hot. They know to use sliced sausage, not that crumbly crap. I grew up in NY and have been searching for really good pizza here in Cincinnati for decades. Got carry out, so cannot speak to the interior of the restaurant. But the pizza I had was wonderful and I will for sure be back to try more. read more

I love Dewey's so much, but I had a really weird experience at this particular location today. My mom and I came here for lunch, and when we walked in we were immediately acknowledged and told that someone would be right with us. One of the managers (it appeared) approached us next, pointed to a table in the middle of the dining area and said, "you can take that table in the middle of the room over there and someone will be over with menus in a minute." My mom and I looked at each other with looks of total confusion and proceeded to seat ourselves. We were literally asked to seat ourselves. It was the most bizarre thing that's ever happened, mostly because the sign at the hostess station specifically read "please wait to be seated." We ordered the new seasonal today, the Van Damme. It's a roasted Brussels sprouts pizza with garlic, bacon, and caramelized onions. It was perfection. The pizza had just a hint of sweetness from the caramelized onions and it was absolutely loaded with crispy bacon. And the Brussels were the definite showstopper, not to mention that Dewey's crust is consistently chewy and delicious. The service, in general, just wasn't up to snuff today which was disappointing as we struggled to get refills today. And once again, I will remind you, that we were asked to seat ourselves. read more

My wife, granddaughter and I have been on vacation attending various attractions including the Creation Museum. On Sunday we were leaving the Museum and my wife announced she had never been to Cincinnati and since we were so close we should go just so she could say she has been. She did a quick search and found Dewey's Pizza, as we headed that way traffic was ridiculous going into Cincy for some reason but we finally made it and were very glad. We had the Bronx Bomber with the Peppercorn Ranch salad and it was amazing!! Great service, amazing atmosphere, an all around very pleasant experience. We are headed to Dayton later this week for the Air Force Museum and will probably do the Dewey's there!! read more

Deweys was good until they switched over to conveyor ovens in most of their stores...the pizza looks pretty much the same, though the itegrity of the dough is just not right. Any self respecting pizza place should never use conveyor ovens, unless all their motive is to provide poor quality delivery pizzas! read more

Came to Dewey's to get some pizza before a movie. As you walk in you can see the kitchen area where the pizzas are being prepared. It was a few days before Thanksgiving so it was relatively busy. We were seated upon arrival but there was a constant flow of people moving in and out with few table vacancies. The people dining here were families with children of all ages. Some were coming from a basketball game and others were out on high school dates. Your simple and casual pizza dining experience. The service was good and they have alcoholic beverages. We ordered a salad and a large pizza and were able to finish them both. The pizza is kind of New York styled, not too thin and certainly not deep dish. I had pineapple and the wife had pine nuts. Yes, pine nuts are an option and my wife ordered them. Apparently pine nuts are all the rave and can be expensive. Even though I've left Cincinnati for a major epicenter of pizza (NYC), I still think fondly of Dewey's and often have it when I'm back in town. The crust is the perfect combo of thin and chewy, the toppings are fresh, and you can order 2 types of pizza in one pie (half and half). Big, HUGE fan! I really enjoy that you can do half and half pizzas. Saves dilemmas often. The uniqueness and quality of their pizzas go above and beyond. I have not once been displeased with anything we've ever gotten from takeout to dining in. Weave been dining at Dewey's since they have opened. I'm pleased that there are even more locations around town. Their salads are huge and the small size is enough for a meal. They make one of my all time local favorite salads, the Greek, and again, I am not left disappointed. Was excited when I went to Cleveland this past summer and I saw one up there. Dewey's never disappoints! There's no other pizza like it. The restaurant is always very clean and organized and the staff is always ready to accommodate to you. We waited about 20 minutes and when we asked if we could have a booth for our car seat after we were given a table, they were very nice and worked with us. The food was to the table quickly for it being a Saturday night and it tasted amazing! I got the Hawaiian Pizza which is the best combination of sweet and salty. It's always nice that you can also see the pizza being made from their window into the kitchen. Definitely somewhere I will keep coming back to. read more

We ordered 1/2 "the Socrates", and 1/2 the seasonal special (I love that they allow you to order the gourmet pizzas by halves - Great for sharing!), and a large cheese pizza for the kids. Great pizza and beer. I go here with my wife and friends several times when we go to Kenwood Theatre next door. Every location I've visited has the same great quality, service and taste. This particular location is just the closest to my house. Haha. They also make excellent salads and if you like ricotta cheese (which I do). The calzones are top notch. I imagine you can get without ricotta bc as I mentioned earlier the service at this location is always excellent. I've never had a bad experience at this Deweys. As for the pizza no favorites here. Best pizza in Cincinnati! Been going to this store for awhile now and every time has been great. The staff is really nice and seem to enjoy their jobs. The service is slightly different than a normal restaurant tho, as they have a system that makes it so every employee can service any and every table, so you don't have a specific person as your server, per se. It's weird at first but we've actually noticed it works really well. The pizza is, simply put, incredible. The normal menu options are all great (Bronx bomber is the obvious favorite) and I have yet to try one that I didn't like. What really makes me love this place, though, is their seasonal pizzas. Their taco pizza is AMAZING. I really can't recommend it enough, I only wish it were a year-round addition to the menu. But the seasonal pizzas are a great reason the keep coming in throughout the year. The location is nice since it's right next to the theatre, however I would caution eating there before/after your movie watching experience. If you go before, you're gonna be in a rush and they can't guarantee you'll be done when you want to be. And if you go after everyone else in the theatre probably has the same idea. Just saying. The only thing that slightly bothers me about this location is the clientele. It's Kenwood, right next to the mall no less, and I feel like every time I go in here I hear some rich white lady from Indian Hill yelling at the staff. I went with my girlfriend and her family just a few nights ago and the place was packed, so we naturally expected a long wait. After waiting almost an hour we were told we would have to wait even longer because another customer was apparently throwing a fit over having our table (that we had been waiting on) right that very moment. And the kicker is that the party had already been sat a half hour earlier than us at another table and had already ordered their food! How inconsiderate do you have to be to make us wait longer so you can have our table after already being sat? So just be prepared to be surrounded by the over-privileged Indian Hill crowd when you go. All in all, a great pizza place. And local! Whoa, and I didn't even get to the beers! I love this place. Best pizza around. You also get great service as they work well as a team and all look out for other tables. There's normaly a small 15 min wait dueling peek hours. So be prepared but they will let you order bar drinks while you wait so that's always a plus. read more

Yo Yo Yo. Word on the street is that Dewey's Pizza is the best in Cincinnati. Move over La Grossa's there's a new cat in town. Well, not new, but delicious... A girlfriend and I ventured here before a movie at Kenwood Theatre. We sat at the bar and chatted over some brews. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It came out pipping hot and delicious. The crust--I swear is a secret sent down by the gods. So soft, yet crunchy, I love it. They don't douse their pizza in sauce which I love, and they always have "crispy pep" (as my bf and I call it) fired on top. Great beer, tons of pizzas to choose from, family friendly. What's not to love? If you haven't been to Dewey's your life has not fully been lived! read more

Not much to say about Dewey's Pizza that hasn't been said already. Their pizza is always fresh and every specialty is thought out. Even if you don't like the taste, you know it's still quality pizza. Staff is always friendly and never had any issues with service. Only downside is sometimes they have long waitlists. Good problem to have though. read more
