This place is a "not so hidden" gem. I'd seen various social media posts and stories about the place but had never managed to find my way there. Well bit I glad we finally made it. We ordered the chicken parm and all the meats pizza. The chicken was excellent and was sitting on a bed of quality pasta. The sauce was good and worked well with the dish in general. The wife loved it and it was the first time in 15 years she's ever showed a glimmer of considering a to go box for leftovers. The pizza was great as well, as someone who makes their own dough, cheese and sauce it's hard to find a pizza that I would say is better than good. This pizza was excellent and outside of my own one of the best I've had from any place outside of my home. Is it truly Neapolitan with that much stuff in it? Ehhhhh probably not but I'm not a purist. Good pizza is good pizza and this qualifies as such. Friendly staff, a neat style and ambiance and good food. That makes the place a complete package worthy of your visit. read more

We have been gone from my hometown of Cincinnati for four years. Just moved back and one of the first places we wanted to visit was Camporosso in Ft. Mitchell. They still have great food and excellent service! Ask for Sydney at the bar. You can't go wrong with anything from this restaurant... from food to service. We loved this local spot. Service was excellent, and the indoor dining area is open and welcoming. There is also an outdoor dining option for non rainy days. We were there for lunch and were having a hard time deciding what pizza types to have when the waitress suggested that we choose 2 types per pizza. That worked out perfectly! We loved the meats paired with the prosciutto and fig. The pepperoni and hot honey was also outstanding. The wood fired crust was perfectly chewy, and I love that they use flour from Italy to make it. I definitely understand why the reviews for this place are so high. I went to Camporosso expecting the usual "artisan pizza experience," which normally means three things: 1. Tiny portions 2. Huge prices 3. A waiter who calls water "hydration." Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? The Yelp reviews brought us here. I rely on Yelp to find new local restaurants. It is especially helpful when planning travel. We went on a Saturday and our plan was to get there when they opened. We walked in right at 11am when they are scheduled to open. We were not the first customers in the restaurant and it very quickly filled up. I read it's always busy at dinner and it's quite busy on the weekends. Plan accordingly. The place is cute and comfortable. I like having a view into the kitchen making area and the huge wood fired stove. Our server was great. I'd made up my mind we were going to get Sopressata Hot Honey - Crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, sopressata salami, local hot honey. They have a fine beer selection and several non-alcoholic options, including mocktails and an NA wine. I opted for the Athletic Run Wild IPA, which was fantastic with the pizza. So the pizza... it took no time at all to put the pizza together and cook it in the wood fired stove. My guess is the Sopressata Hot Honey pizza is one of their most popular and they can probably make it with their eyes closed. The pizza was so good! The cheese, sauce, pepperoni and the hot honey were simply fantastic. I wondered if it would be spicy, but it was not. It was so flavorful and the crust... oh the crust! That wood fired oven does amazing things to the crust. I think I could eat just the crust! We didn't try anything else. We were pretty much in and out, but we left completely satisfied and wishing Camporosso was a little bit closer to us. I think it's safe to say we'll be back. read more

Stoped here as it as featured on DDD which means Guy Fieri ate here. I tried the bucatini pasta which is what he got on the show and it was good despite the fact that I'm not much of a red sauce girl. We also got a deluxe pizza which is wood fired and char cupped pepperoni. Servings were big and now I also have lunch for tomorrow. Service was average, water cups were filled when empty. Tried this place when we got rained out at the taste of Cincinnati. What a great find! Had wood fired pizza with prosciutto and fig and it was fabulous. Rounded it sour with an order of meatballs which were also way above average (I'm a bit of a meatball snob). 5 stars easy and I'd gladly come back here next time I'm in the area (this is about an hour from home). Service was good as well with no waits, timely refills and fast delivery on the food! It's very niche and very expensive. It's been on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and has a loyal local following. It's one of those "downtown Fort Mitchell" things that is a bit overrated. I love a good mom and pop pizza place and Camporosso did not disappoint! I started an early birthday celebration here with my family and it was the absolute best choice! We went on a Thursday and it was packed! Our wait was only about 20 minutes even with the crowd so we were impressed. We ordered the wedge salad and the camporosso deluxe with hot honey drizzled and it was everything!! Both items were absolutely delicious and filled with flavor. WOW! We are visiting from California and decided we wanted pizza for dinner. Found this place on Yelp so we tried it. We wish we had it in California. We would go there probably two times a week. We ordered an Italian pizza with half pepperoni and sausage and the other half barbecue chicken. Amazing!!! It had a thin crust, which is great and it's like a party in your mouth with all the flavors. It was very busy, but the service was wonderful. Our server was very conversational and really sweet. Very reasonably priced. It's a very nice restaurant with a lot of tables and booths, has a large bar and also outside patio seating. We loved it! read more
