My first time at Fine Wine O'Clock was last week and I've already reserved for another visit. The service is outstanding, both while there and prior to my visit with questions I had via the website and email. They were flexible when we possibly needed more room. They were accommodating when I requested the back room for our next visit. The prices are very reasonable. The $15 corkage fee is high, but that's because their pricing is retail versus hospitality. You know how a bottle of wine at a restaurant costs 40% more than at the liquor store? That's what's in play here. Tuesdays are no corkage fee, so you get that retail pricing without the corkage fee. We didn't eat because we had just had dinner but the menu looks good. They were doing a special 3-course pasta meal for $35 that looked really promising too. Note: All the wines are from Macedonia, except for their prosecco. Do not go and assume you'll be able to get a specific wine. Go in with an open mind and just enjoy the experience.

I am new to the area and been here 4x now (yes... I like it, haha) and I must say this is the cutest wine spot. The wines they feature are primarily from Macedonia, which was new for me to taste and my palate has been pleased! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Cute and Cozy ambiance. A back private room can be reserved for small parties. I've enjoyed the weekly Thursday wine and cheese tasting. The pairings are top notch. They have "flight of the week" tastings and also have a small food menu which I look forward to trying one day soon. It is also a wine shop, you can purchase anything you taste. Prices are very reasonable. If you enjoy wine, this is worth a visit!

We enjoyed our first visit to fine wine o'clock! I called to make reservations for a thirsty Thursday tasting and was pleasantly informed that they were celebrating their 1st year open! While there wasn't a tasting that evening, we enjoyed live music and celebratory cake! I ordered their barrel aged cab Sauvignon which was really tasty and hubby ordered the bourbon flight which he also enjoyed! Their menu is mainly apps but ordering a few will fill you up! We ordered the sampler which came with 3 spreads and warm toasted pita. And the veggie flatbread also on warm toasted pita topped with mozzarella, tomatoes and greens. It's amazing how 1 couple can run the whole show. They are very passionate about educating their visitors on Baltic wine so we are looking forward to a slower tasting evening for our next visit. It can get a bit loud in there and difficult to hear your neighbors so keep in mind for a fun neighborhood feel vs. romantic quiet ambiance.

My wife and I had a date night here and loved it. Family owned and operated with great people from Macedonia. Delicious wines with great prices, $5 glass during happy hour. We had the Syrah, well several glasses. Food: legit charcuterie board with fresh meats, cheeses, crackers, spreads, nuts, olives. The Burek with cheese was fantastic, homemade from a Macedonian bakery. We highly recommend this place for anyone that likes wine, shareable apps. Support this place!

cute, cozy and friendly wine bar in pleasant ridge! The owners are so welcoming and very knowledgeable. There is a fine selection of wine and cocktails, perfect for any group. I have been for the wine and ended up buying a bottle of sauvignon blanc for home. We also have enjoyed cocktails here before dinner. I am excited to return for one of their tasting flight nights!

AMAZING experience at Fine Wine O'Clock just like every other patron has had! We came here on a Saturday night and the place was PACKED. There were no open seats in the front room but the owners graciously seated us in the back room and said they would pull us forward if seats opened up. All of the wines here are from Macedonia or the Balkan region which makes this place very unique! The owners are from this part of the world and therefore they are very knowledgeable and passionate about these wines! The owner personally came and took our orders and answered all our questions which was greatly appreciated. My partner ordered the weekly wine flight which came as single glasses of wine one after another (i.e. not at the same time like normal flights) with the owner explaining each wine each time before he poured. I opted for a single glass of a dry red wine which was super tasty as well where I ended up ordering a second glass! They had live music which was not only great, but kept the atmosphere lively and fun which you do not always see at a wine bar! We were able to eventually move up to the front and enjoy some of the music first hand, but the back room was also very nice and a perfect place to host a private wine tasting. We will definitely be back to enjoy some more wine and their charcuterie boards which looked delicious!

Great little place to sit and talk and have some drinks with a friend or date night! Pere the owner is wonderful and has a great attention to detail. He will help assist with what you may like wine wise. His passion has poured into pleasant ridge and we are so glad he is here! Parking is super easy and you can quickly pickup an Uber or get a drink while you pickup pills at Walgreens!

The Liquor Lover's Wonderland - Party Source, Bellevue, KY…read moreBy Brian You ever walk into a place and think, "Well, I probably don't need a cart..." -- and then five minutes later you're pushing around what looks like a mobile bar? That was me at Party Source in Bellevue, Kentucky--a short hop from Cincinnati and definitely worth the ride. Let me set the scene: Imagine if Walmart and your favorite liquor store had a baby, and that baby grew up to be a well-organized, fully stocked party animal. That's Party Source. If it pours, pops, or parties--they've got it. If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist... or it's banned in three states . Mini Bottles, Maximum Curiosity One of my favorite features? The mini bottle section. A whole wall of airplane‑sized bottles so you can test-drive a new liquor without committing to the full bottle (or the full price tag). It's like a liquor buffet--without the hangover. Want to know what jalapeño peanut butter whiskey tastes like? Grab a tiny bottle and find out... preferably not before work. Aisles of Joy and Wonder I strolled through the bourbon aisle like a kid in a candy store with a $20 allowance and zero adult supervision. Then over to the gin and vodka aisles, where my eyes glazed over from the sheer variety. Lavender gin? Pineapple vodka? Was that bottle shaped like a grenade? Yes. Yes, it was. The wine section is equally impressive--ranging from casual sippers to "special celebration" bottles. And the beer zone deserves its own zip code; they carry everything from well-known staples to wild, small-batch brews that taste like a fruit salad with a buzz. On this trip we grabbed: * Jim Beam Pineapple - because why not give summer a Kentucky kick? * Santo's Tequila - smooth, sassy, perfect for margarita missions. * From one of my favorite fruit-forward breweries, Austin Eastciders: Blackberry, Pineapple, and Blood Orange ciders. Refreshing, crisp, and exactly what you want on a hot summer day. More Than Just Booze (Barely) Beyond the bottles, Party Source is a true one-stop party shop. Paper plates with flamingos? Tablecloths in 17 colors? Tiki torches, confetti cannons, and maybe even an Elvis piñata? Probably--but I didn't check. If you're throwing an adult gathering, Party Source has your bar cart and beyond covered. Where to Find It You can visit in person at: The Party Source 95 Riviera Drive, Bellevue, KY 41073 Or check out their full stock of spirits, wines, beer, and party goods on their website: thepartysource.com () Final Thoughts: Stocked Up & Smiling So next time you're on the hunt for something unique in the liquor world--or just need a one-stop solution for your next party--make the trip to Party Source in Bellevue. Your taste buds will thank you, your wallet may whimper a bit, but your gathering? Absolutely epic. Until next time, I'm Brian... reminding you to stock up, sip responsibly, and most importantly-- Take the Trip. Your Next Adventure (and your next drink) is waiting.

Our table ate family style to maximize the yumminess. First up was the raclette. Oh my! The smell of melty cheese pervaded the entire atmosphere. The plate we ordered was generously piled with cheese, ham, potatoes, and some picked veg to cut the richness. I was so pleased, I wondered if we should have ordered anything more. The answer was yes! Other entrees included a delicata squash dish, confit mushroom tacos, a spicy pad thai pancake, and beef stew. Each one was interesting and delicious in its own right. You could tell all the food was carefully curated; from the seeds to give a bit of crunch to the squash to the chicarrón like crisp on the mushroom tacos, I appreciated the clear effort. There was only one misstep- it is a pet peeve of mine that if you ask about what's being celebrated in the reservation that it should at least be mentioned by the host or server. Otherwise, why ask? It is a testament to the great food and service at Oakley wines that I consider it a 5 star experience despite that.

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.
