The food was not that good. After reading a lot of reviews, I tried something new there tonight. I wish I would have stuck with my usual. While portion sizes are generous and prices are very affordable, the food was lacking. The spaghetti was okay, not the worst thing I've eaten. The garlic bread with cheese was lacking garlic and cheese. It was basically toasted bread with a sprinkle of cheese. I was impressed with the freshness upon delivery, so kudos to that. read more

Super quick service, polite, friendly, affordable, and delicious. I have lived in the area for over a year and never felt the need to try this spot out. I just rarely eat pizza, and when I do I typically have a fancy "go to" place instead of an old school carryout. I'm seeing that's a bit of a mistake! Angilo's puts out a quality product, and I'll definitely be back! Philly cheesesteak with pizza sauce, lettuce, and tomato - Really good pizza sauce (a little sweet but it was balanced by the large amount of hearty mozz), nicely toasted bread, and a solid amount of crisp grilled beef. We carried out for a Lenten Friday family meal. Highly recommend their cheese pizza. It's really good. We also got a veggie pizza. Surprisingly, it was not very tasty and we wound up pitching most of it. I think it was the broccoli that just tasted weird. The cod sandwiches were delicious, though we added lettuce and tomato at home. I've ordered it with lettuce before and they just didn't put enough on it. The tuna sandwiches were not a hit with us. Warning, of you pull up their menu on their website, the prices are very outdated. We thought we ordered about $55 worth and the bill was $76. I recently went right before they closed and didn't have the best experience with the food. I called in my order of three chicken teriyaki sandwiches. She said 20 minutes which was fine. I got there paid for my order but since I arrived early I had to wait which was fine. When I got the sandwiches, they tasted nothing like they normally do. There was no taste of teriyaki. It was like she grilled chicken that wasn't seasoned with the other ingredients and put the cheese over it. Because I live so far away and they were closing, I couldn't take them back or even call to let them know. I was so disappointed because this is one of my favorite spots for sandwiches like this. Like: Food is all reasonably priced. Good selection of side orders. Dislike: Hours are unideal. They don't open till 4 PM on Sunday and they are closed on Mondays. Hours vary throughout the week. While I've wanted to try Angilo's for a while since they are nearby, their inconvenient hours (for me) had prevented it from happening for months. Finally the stars aligned on a Sunday evening and we ordered some pizza and a couple of sides for take-out. Everything was just as expected - not fantastic but perfect for a lazy evening of greasy indulgence. I would definitely order here more if the hours meshed up with my schedule a little better. Also, this location doesn't accept the coupons I receive in the mail for Angilo's, so that's also a bummer. read more

Until 2 days ago, each pizza has been a culinary master piece, definitely worthy of a 5 out of 5 stars. Each bite has the perfect Topping:Sauce:Crust ratio! And the plethora of toppings is an event in your mouth that makes you crave another slice, even when you're full to bursting. Ordinarily they would get a 10 out of 5, (and I'm NEVER that impressed with chain pizza)! This time, however, my son ordered the largest pizza on accident and it was the first time the crust was too thick and tasted slightly burnt on the bottom and around the edges. He had taken his plate to work for 3rd shift and brought back all but 1 slice, and that NEVER happens. Suffice it to say, he called and offered to return the remaining pizza and the management was great. They agreed to give him another one the next time we ordered. This little restaurant jem may seem quaint and not at all awe inspiring, yet their customer service and "usual" attention to detail in creating delicious pizza is memorable and worth a 30 minute drive across town! Was a life long customer, been going well over 25, wife 30 years or longer. We always get the same thing. Last time we picked up our order we were like this is very dry. We called and they stated we'd be happy to remake it for you. We live over 10 miles away and we asked for a store credit for 2 items, not even the whole order and they said no. I mean if you can remake it you can also credit the 2 sandwiches. That was a $40 order. We chose not to return after that, we loved that place and I miss the tasty fish sandwiches but I refuse to pay for bad customer service. read more

This is the SECOND time Angilo's has done this. As I type this they are supposed to be open. I left there 15 minutes ago. Their store hours say 11am -9pm. I got their at 8:20 and was told they were closed. This has happened before. They are not very friendly, who ever the older guy that works their seems like time I go in he is having a bad day. They are plenty of mom and pop shops in this area I can spend my money on. Please do better. If you don't have the help. Change your hours or at least post something on the door. This is the best place to get a pizza hoagie. Plus this Angilo's is the best one in Cincy! The review is mainly on carry out since that is the only thing I do. They do have a small dining area if you like to chill there. The staff has always been helpful and nice. Never had a problem with them. The food is excellent!! It's hard for my family to agree on a pizza place. Everyone had one that they like. I have find memories of going to an Angilos when I was a kid, so I took my family to this one. The food is everything that I remember. It's one of the few pizza places my whole family agrees on now. I do have to admit that even the decor when you walk in brings back memories...even the menu board up on the wall. It's the same style of menu board that was at the Angilo's I used to frequent 20 years ago, but don't let that detract from the food. They may not be open as long as some other restaurants, but it's something that we can work around. read more

Love the pizza. While there are discount pizza places out there it is worth the price to stop in here. It has the feel of the diner style pizza joint. The hours used to be shorter so we never could go plus they used to only take cash. The hours are extended some now and they accept cards which helps us a lot. The website the company uses is in much need of updating. I think that is handled externally though so not sure the individual franchises have control of it. read more
