We had a bit of an issue in that we made the reservation over two weeks ago with the specific request to be seated away from the kitchen door, and we ended up being seated right near the very small hostess area and of course, next to the kitchen door. Our server mostly made up for it with good service and a very nice demeanor.

Unfortunately, the experience from the moment we sat down until we left was extremely disappointing. First, the soda from the main machine was consistently flat. After receiving flat soda multiple times, we eventually had to ask for refills directly from the bar because that was the only way to get a drink that was actually carbonated. We ordered an appetizer, a pizza, and an Alfredo fettuccine with breadsticks and a salad with ranch. Our server was Marlo. The pizza came out a full 20 minutes before my niece's pasta. When her meal finally arrived, it was completely incorrect. Instead of what we ordered, Marlo brought chicken Alfredo fettuccine with garlic bread and a Caesar salad. My niece's entire order was wrong, and it had already taken 20 minutes longer than our food to arrive. After we pointed out the mistake, Marlo did bring out the correct pasta and breadsticks--but it took another 15 minutes. By that point, my mom and I had already finished eating. My niece was essentially left waiting for her meal while the rest of us ate. Then, when we received the check, we were charged for the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and an additional dollar for the Caesar salad, neither of which was what we ordered. Marlo did not come back to our table for quite some time, so I eventually went up to McKenzie to have the bill corrected. She fixed the charges without me explaining everything that had happened, which I admittedly should have done. What was most disappointing was that, despite the incorrect order, the significant delay, the repeated drink issues, and the fact that my niece didn't receive her correct meal until my mom and I were already finished eating, there was absolutely no attempt to acknowledge or compensate us for the experience. Instead, the only explanation we received from Marlo was that "everyone is new." While I understand that people can be new and mistakes happen, that doesn't excuse the overall lack of communication or the way the situation was handled. We left feeling both rushed and ignored, and the experience was unnecessarily frustrating. Mistakes happen in restaurants, especially when it's busy, but what matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, we did not feel that ours was handled well at all. For the price and overall experience, I expected much better and left extremely dissatisfied.

Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.

Sad day...Grammas Pizza is officially OFF my list of places I will patron. If you know me you KNOW I love to patron mom and pop businesses but this owner doesn't care about the experience the public has. His Manager, Lindsey at the Milford store called a customer every vile name in the book while waiving a cigarette around in the kitchen because they were asked to remake and deliver a substandard pizza. The owner called my friend but instead of apologizing for his manager, he told her she went "too far" when she wrote a bad review on the Grammas Facebook site. Daddy used to take me there for their hoagies and loved their pizza, I've been a customer for years but no more. I will not spend my money where I know common courtesy and customer service is dead. He said that good help that isn't on drugs is hard to find. He can keep his sad excuse for a manager and hope the word doesn't get out that he simply doesn't care about providing high quality service. Hope he saved the hundreds of dollars his family has made off our purchases over the years. He will need it when Cincinnati boycotts his sorry excuse for a locally owned business. read more

My wife and kids have been to this location a number of times for carryout mostly. Always overhear very vulgar language coming from kitchen staff when we pick up our food no matter how busy they seem. Decided to dine in on a rare occasion and not only can you hear the kitchen staff argue with each other and the servers throughout the restaurant plain as day, my family and I proceeded to see what looked like a cook in the parking lot yelling and screaming profane and very derogatory language and throwing a carryout customers food at them. When asking to speak with a manager we were told "there was no manager there" and the above mentioned cook told us "I'm the one in f***ing charge!" Absolutely deplorable staff and restaurant. Speaks volumes about their management and ownership. By all means stay away from this Grammas location! read more

In fact, I've had better frozen pizza's (and I hate frozen pizza).
