Delivery driver was awesome and followed instructions. He also sent a text letting me know he left at the correct location as requested. Pizza and nightsticks with cheese were correct. The temperature on the other hand was pretty close to being cold. Not the worst thing in the world. NYPD are one of the few pizzas they you can warm up in the microwave and it doesn't affect quality. I gave this place another try recently and it didn't disappoint as much as it did last time which is a good thing. This review is apart of my doordash series - therefore I will not be rating customer service or the cleanliness of the place as I do not know. I ordered a steak hoagie with cheese, pizza sauce, pickle and onion - the hoagy was a good size and filling - not too covered in pizza sauce and had the right amount of cheese. The bun was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and had a nice hint of garlic butter. I also ordered cheese fries which arrived luke warm and soggy. The night sticks which are just breadsticks with cheese could've used a little more flavor as it was very basic and needed the dipping sauce to make it a 8 out of 10. read more

While I have not been in person to this business to experience what ambiance exists; I have ordered delivery from here numerous times. First and foremost I have never had a true complaint from this restaurant. From mozzarella sticks, cheese sticks (night sticks), hoagies and whole pies i've not been disappointed. My personal favorite is the hoagie with extra sauce. Both of the pizza and mushroom hoagies are delicious. Don't get me wrong the hoagie meat itself is not something to have high expectations for but it is seasoned well. However, the mushroom sauce and the actual pizza sauce are incredible. The pizza sauce you can tell has garlic either cooked into it or garlic powder/salt. Overall the pizza sauce for the hoagie or pizza is savory. The size and portion of the pizza are fairly priced as is most of the menu. The pizza has plenty of flop to it, not like your chain pizza that has a texture of cardboard. One recommendation I would make is to do a little research into how to keep the integrity of the flop of the pizza but get a little crisp so it's not as doughy in texture. Next time skip the massive chain and check out NYPD. Service must be incredible considering i've never had an issue with receiving my entire order and will be making a trip soon to experience what ambiance may be available. read more

This place is cheap and close to my apartment so sometimes when I don't feel like cooking I'll order online and pick it up. I've given them plenty of chances but they fuck up almost every order I've ever placed. Forgetting something in the order. Adding an ingredient that wasn't listed. Forgetting to omit the pound of mayo I didn't want. Adding spoiled products to my food. Under-cooking my food to where the dough is raw in places. I've never complained directly to anyone in the store because I feel bad for them. Most everyone who works there has no life behind their eyes so I know they wouldn't even care regardless. I bet they deal with a lot of bad clients judging by how low their prices are so I didn't want to add to it. It's also the kind of place that would spit in your food if you weren't careful so I try to just be grateful and I always tip at least $5. I'm writing this review because I'm just disappointed. NYPD Pizza is the best "Cheap" pizza in Cincy. It's located in Northside and doesn't have a dine in area, so I don't get it as much as I use too. But sometimes Dan & I just crave it and drive over to Northside to pick it up. They are really affordable and have great coupons on their website. We always get the deal where you get a large one topping pizza, cheese bread sticks and a 2-Liter for $15.99. You get SO much food for what you pay for. If you're in Northside and craving Pizza I would stop and pick one up from here. You could take it to a park and eat it if you don't want to drive home. OR you could take it over to Urban Artifact Brewery around the corner to enjoy with some beer. read more

I waited 2 hours and 10 minutes to get a cold pizza that didn't taste good at all. Every time I called to check the status of my delivery the person that answered the phone would say the same thing "the delivery driver just left they should be there in 5 minutes" 5mins turned into a 1hour. I understand they may be short on drivers but to give people food that's cold (not even room temperature) and sauce that taste old is wrong. NYPD excels at everything a cheap hole in the wall pizza place should. First, it's cheap. Second, they deliver FAST. Ridiculously so sometimes. I ordered once at an off-peak time and delivery came in under 30 minutes from placing an online order. Third, it's run by friendly people. They didn't receive our online order once. They gave my husband a free drink even though they made his order so fast he never would have realized they actually missed his order. Oops, but I haven't mentioned the food. It's nothing special really. But it's not bad either. It will solve any pizza craving and the BBQ pizza is solid. It's cheap unhealthy greasy pizza...and it's perfect for what it is. But what raises it to four stars? THE FRIED PICKLES. I love pickles. I love fried food. And I have found fried pickles to be underwhelming. They always suffer from some problem. Namely, the batter overwhelms the pickle. So you taste batter, but no pickle. Whats the point? Or they use bigger pickles and the pickle gets warm and mushy on the inside. NYPD has found fried pickle perfection. They are one of the less greasy things on the menu and lightly breaded. They use whole pickle spears, so it's very pickley. Somehow, the batter is light and crispy. The pickle is not mushy and oh...it's just beautiful. And cheap. I have had the spaghetti several times from this location, for whatever reason after being remade before even leaving the store, it was a pile of disgusting stuck together, over cooked blob of "noodles". Ordered delivery during a stormy night in Northside. I attempted to order online but unless you download their app it is almost impossible. That being said, calling in wasn't too painful. Despite the crazy weather (thunderstorms and torrential rain in December?) it didn't take long for them to arrive. I ordered a calzone and my friend ordered wings and a house salad. My calzone was big especially compared to what you get from Larosa's. It was loaded with pepperoni, bacon and extra cheese and came with pizza sauce AND garlic butter sauce. It was super tasty but the bacon wasn't my favorite. My friend didn't really enjoy her wings and kept mentioning they didn't seem like they were fully cooked. This place is solid. The Northside location is carry out only. They always have good deals and you can order in person, by phone, or online. Everyone is very friendly when picking up your order, and I've never had to wait longer than the 20 minutes asked for. I've also never been told my order will take longer than 20 minutes. I can't comment on the delivery service as we always do carry out since it's just a few blocks away. This pizza also reheats really well. I hate when crust turns into concrete or rubber the next day, and this crust does not do that. Props to that! read more
