Food was good. Enjoyed our Pepperoni and Bacon pizza very much. Fried pickles were decent. Cole Slaw was nice and creamy with a slight tang to it. Very good! We dined in. They did cut our pizza but they also give you a pizza cutter, which we liked! They could spend some time cleaning. That's probably my only issue. Dusty counters, dusty air vents, dirty oven hood, floors could use a good mopping. Seems like one of those places ran by teenagers with minimal adult supervision or direction. read more

Saturday April 15, Montgomery Community Church lead a community service event for a widow who lives in Pleasant Plain and is raising her four granddaughters. We had 14 individuals from five families step out in support and once complete had Chubby's pizza for lunch. The pizza was delivered on time and was some of the best we've had on a community service event. Just ordered a steak hoagie, they sent bread cheese and pizza sauce and the adolescent manager blamed us for the missing steak lol. Serious question for Chubbies and anyone else reading this. Who orders a steak hoagie and asks for it with no meat? Does this happen on a regular basis? Ok. Sure, whatever... As a restaurant owner myself, here's a little piece of advice for Chubbies.... You really should take care of the mistakes with your over complicated online order system unless a specific house or customer is trying to get something for free on a regular basis. I used to order from you regularly and have never had a problem, and frankly I've tipped your people pretty generously in the past. Now, your child manager has banned our house from ordering from you again because he wanted to flex and save the company $6.95. Sound business decision. Keep doing that and see how it works for you. Just so you know.... door dash, grub hub etc. is a thing now. Your business will cease to exist if you let low IQ individuals continue to run your store. My family has been ordering from here for years. It's a typical small town pizza place with decent food. Quite an extensive menu. Expect longer delivery times during typical peak hours (evenings and weekends) I really don't have any complaints given that it's the only place that delivers around here. read more

Chubbys has always been our favorite pizza, lots of flavor and perfect crust. Our recent pizza order was not good. Quality and quantity of toppings, meat, cheese and sauce was not good. Evidently if you order a taco salad and you don't select a dressing, you don't get the sour cream and salad you're supposed to get. After ordering numerous times from this place, I've decided to stop. My son loves their pizza. The last couple of times ordering, it's been a cluster. One time my sons pizza was burnt. He wouldn't eat it. I called and told them and was told I'd get a credit for it. So last night I called in to order and was told there's no record of me even calling therefore there was no credit. I went ahead and ordered. It was 6:30 when I ordered and was told it would be an hour and a half until we got our pizza. The pizza is hit or miss and customer service doesn't exist. We ordered a pizza at 10:45, (close to closing time, but if you don't want to make the pizza just tell me it's too late!), they said it would be ready in 20 minutes, go to pick up the pizza, and the lights are off and its closed!! My parents love Chubby's, and consistently order it to be delivered to us, however I am never satisfied with the food. The pizza is bland and never has enough sauce, and the cheese is rubbery. There's just not a whole lot of flavor in the pizza. The fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks I have to admit are very good, but how hard is it to mess up mozzarella sticks? If you want something quick and cheap, order from Chubby's. But if you're looking for a good quality pizza place, I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

I've had this place multiple times. It's not bad, but it's not something I'd order a lot. The mini burritos are good. But I've had them deliver mult times and we stopped going entirely the last time as I live 5 min away, and they took 1.5 hours to get me the food. My husband showed up angry, they remade my entire order and the girl showed up saying she couldn't find me. 5 min away. When they'd delivered before. Hummmm no. She didn't even call to get help from the store or from me. Other times they've delivered they've forgotten stuff. Stupid stuff. Like burritos that say they come with sour cream..none. Salsa for chips. Dipping sauces. Super frustrating. As close as they are, delivery happened for a reason, not to mention I pay for it yet have to drive and pick it up! The customer service we've received, alone, has been reason enough to quit. Tired of the forgetfulness. Accidents do happen, but every time? My family loves Chubby's Pizza! Its a favorite amongst the kids. The pizza isn't anything over the top, but in our opinion it tops LaRosas, Pizza Hut, and Dominoes. They have a great Family Deal too. The cheesy bread is crazy good and you have to give the gravy cheese fries a try! The only draw back is they can sometimes take a while for delivery (45mins or so during peak times). They are one of the few places in town that delivers so they can get very busy. Definitely worth a try if you've never had them. read more
