The slices of pizza were huge, I could've done with just one slice. New York style pizza that makes me want to come back for more. I also love that they have a Coke freestyle machine. Atmosphere: they have about 10 tables, two very long group tables, high topped, and also window seats. It was very quiet until an annoying group of guys came in. It seems like they might be regulars. I've been wanting to dine at Ramundo's for the longest time. I'm a sucker for a good classic New York style pizza. My Mr. had lunch here before and raved about it. Last weekend I requested for him to pick up some pizza from this location. We got the extra large pizza. Half Margherita/Half Uncle Frank's Margherita. It was amazing! Loved the crust and everything was balanced just right! Great flavor. I wanted more so we both dined in a Saturday evening. Plenty of parking and seating inside. It was spacious and very laid back. There are TVs if you want to watch a game. Besides pizza, they offer Starters, soups, salads, pizzas, subs, calzones, kids menu, desserts. They do have beers in the fridge. They advertise wine on the menu online but when I ordered, they said that they don't carry it. I was a little bummed, but my Mr and I ended up getting a Miller high life (can) each. For dinner we ordered an extra large half cheese/half pepperoni. We got our order and it was better than expected. The crust was super soft and sauce had a slight spicy kick. Loved it. We drive by ramundos all the time so one night we decided to stop in for dinner. I would say the pizza was good not great, a little greasy and the calzone was better than the pizza. I'm sure everything's a little thrown off with the pandemic but you ordered your food at the counter and service there was fast and friendly, you take a number and someone brings food to the table, most drinks were in cans, I believe they had fountain drinks as well but all beer was canned. Ramundo's DOES accept carry out orders and finally is delivering! When the shop first opened, they were a few weeks behind on getting the phones set up. After many months of planning and hiring drivers, as of last week, they're delivering to the Mt. Washington and surrounding areas, too! We always come here for the NY style single slices, they're huge, thin and delicious! They might have my favorite sauce, a hearty traditional tomato sauce that beats out other local competitors. Your slice comes seasoned thickly, if you don't like this, you might not like the pizza. I can feed my daughter and I for $5 with the $2.50 cheese slices. I recommend skipping the fries, they're not good at all. Come here for the pizza and the beer. Yes, beer! They have a nice selection of craft beers including my personal favorite, Braxton Storm. The service is always friendly, especially the owner. If he's in, he always makes sure you enjoyed your dinner. My kiddo especially LOVES the big chalkboard and coloring pages. You order at the front counter, they give you a number, and they bring your order right to you. And pizza isn't the only thing they serve. They also have lots of options for salads, soups, calzones, and deli sandwiches. They also have beer and wine options with a pretty nice selection. I opted for a combo of a slice of pepperoni with a house salad and a drink. Even the salad was excellent and the blue cheese dressing tasted homemade. The pizza was very tasty and not too greasy, plus the crust had a bit of a crunch to it. Made for a very good lunch at a great price! This is New York style pizza done right for sure! I went in tonight, thinking they'd been open for at least a few days and said, "how long have you been open?" The guy behind the counter looked back at me and said, "since 11am this morning." So I accidentally went on their first day in business. As many people know, the original Ramundo's Pizza has been a Mt. Lookout Square staple since 2000. Limited to 1-2 tables in and about the same outside, it's primarily a take-out joint. Now Ramundo's has a new place across the Beechmont levee and up the hill in Mt. Washington, and this place has a good amount of seating, and the same good pizza and subs and salads and calzones. Located where the New York, NY Deli used to be, this family owned business is across Beechmont from Walgreens near the main intersection with Corbly Rd. So I went (accidentally) on their opening night, and most tables were full(a good sign!). Mind you, like their original location, you order at the counter. Then they give you a number card to identify you to deliver your order to your table. Very good service (even though appearing young, still asked how the food was, and if they could get anything). There were family members helping out too, and I overheard one mention that they were so new that they hadn't gotten their paper menus or even their phones turned on yet! So I'm guessing no delivery. Finally tried Ramundo's last week and it's likely to become our go-to pizza delivery spot. We ordered the Supreme and Chicken Pesto pizzas and family size Caesar salad. The Supreme was everyone's favorite and it was still coming up in conversation a few days after we had it. Chicken Pesto was good, too, but the Supreme was a notch above. I stopped in here on A cold snowy night, trying it for the first time. Pizza by the slice is what caught my eye! I got plain cheese and pepperoni. They tasted great. I'll definitely go back and bring people with me. They were A Jed the night I went. Everyone seemed to work together and I didn't see anyone complaining about anything while I waited for my slices. I guess they were made fresh because I waited at least 15 minutes for the two slices. I heard A couple of who seemed to be regulars point out how busy they were. What was cool is that the kitchen is an open format. Came back with my mom and she LOVES IT HERE. A co-worker's friend owns this place and I've been trying to get over there for the last 3 years. Since this week is Cincinnati Slice Week (not a bargain by the way) I grabbed the oppurtunity. Such a let down. To look forward to trying a place for three whole years and then ........blah. I've read the reviews and it looks like the worst reviews have been written w/in the last year or so which makes me wonder what changed. We walked in and there was no direction. Do we seat ourselves? Do we wait? I presented the cashier with my $15 Slice Week gc (Cincinnati Magazine thing) and she didn't know what to do with it. Being such a small place and participating in a fairly large event, I would think the owners would have given the cashiers a heads up. So a medium one topping pizza (which we already paid for (plus a donation!) online) we also ordered bacon cheese fries, a beer and a can of wine. An additional $18!! The fries came with lots of bacon and a little bit of cheese. All dry. Nothing to dip- no ketchup, no ranch. The fries are VERY clearly cheap frozen fries. They tasted like they had been frozen about 60 seconds before they hit our table. We got up to get our own paper plates and ketchup packs. The pizza....oh the pizza. EXACTLY like the pizza I had back in the day at ol' Sharpsburg Elementary. Brought back memories, Yo. I'm not, by any stretch, a pizza snob, I like it all. Except this. In fact we had a couple pieces left. 100% of the time I keep the extras for my lunch the next day. First time I have EVER gone out to a pizza place and thrown away pizza. Dude, I've ate left over Little Ceasers. And threw this away. We brought our daughter home an order of the Romundo bites. I fully planned on giving them 2 stars until I had to come home and bake those bites because the dough was not baked. Breaks my heart to give a local spot such a harsh review. My wife and I decided to get a pizza delivered. We have driven by Ramundo's in both Mt. Washington and Mt. Lookout dozens of times. Tonight seemed like a good time to give them a try. I found their website a little confusing. They only list the Mt. Lookout location and the phone number is apparently for both locations. We got that sorted out and ordered a Paisano for delivery. I added a tip for the driver and gave them my credit card. The man at Ramundo's said it would be about 45 minutes. At one hour and five minutes I was thinking of calling to check. A few minutes later the driver showed up. When I opened the door, he literally handed the pizza to me, and walked away. No smile, no hello, nothing. The pizza felt like it had been in the car for half an hour...ice cold. I had to re-heat it before it was edible. An hour and thirty minutes after I ordered the pizza it was finally ready to eat. The pizza itself had good flavor, but the toppings were a bit sparse and the crust was droopy and flaccid. Overall a pretty negative first impression, and the 16" pizza with delivery and tip was $29.99. Not good value for what we received. Very disappointed. The picture was an afterthought, so sorry for the half eaten slice. read more

Very disappointed. My family and I do Friday pizza night and try all sorts of pizzas. This Friday we tried this for the first time. Cheese is great but sauce is wayyyyy too hot spicy. After calling in about how it was too hot and my wife could only eat one slice (with milk) on an extra large all I was told was they were adding a note for "kids sauce".....umm first time I've heard that. Was in the area for work and saw this place on the corner and looked like a quick and easy lunch. Pizza by the slice can be a toss up with most places . Sometimes the pizza's are cooked an or prepped too far in advance an once served they become dry and the crust somewhat rippy . Not this place. Excellent piping hot slice of fresh pizza with a very nice cheese blend that is complemented by a flavorful sauce as well as the classic New York style slice . And the Kroger Hot honey pepperoni pizza is a Million times better than Ramundos... They add the pepper flakes and honey after the pizza is cooked... They have no clue about flavors and how heat marinates flavors together.. it's a shame . I will continue to drive an half hour for my pizza still...
