Friday night there was live music at Factory 52. The heat had finally seemed to break making it an ideal evening to listen to some outdoor tunes. My beautiful wife suggested we grab our picnic blanket and order some Angilo's for dinner. It was a fantastic suggestion. She is not just beautiful. She is also wise. On Friday nights angilo's has a special of a 3-topping 12 inch pizza for $13. In Donald Trump's economy this is a great deal. We got mushrooms, sausage, and banana peppers. The sausage is hearty and has great flavor. We did wish the banana peppers packed a bit more heat. Overall the pizza was delightful with a crispy thinner crust. The hot pepper cheese bites were also nice. Fried perfectly with a little heat. Would order them both again. Pizza was ready upon arrival and service was good. Had parking in the back. read more

My husband and I had forgotten about this little gem until recently. Now we're wondering why we wasted money on the chain places before this. For about $25, we can each get a pizza of our choosing and maybe even some mozzarella sticks. Every time I go to pick up our orders, the service is always wonderful. They don't have much, if any, seating inside. That's ok for us as we prefer to pick it up and eat at home. Tonight my husband ordered a calzone with tomatoes, sausage, and mushrooms. At one point I looked over and the cheese and toppings were just oozing out of the crust. I wish I got a picture! I was about halfway through my sandwich before I snapped a picture. I ordered the small turkey hoagie and a side order of fries. The side order of fries was so much bigger than I had imagined! And they're the really good fresh, fried fries. The turkey hoagie was grilled turkey and cheese and was just so amazing. On a night when I wasn't super hungry, this was more than enough food! Especially for the price we paid. You can't do takeout for 2 people that inexpensive anymore. We'll continue to support this local business! read more

This is my first time having Angilos pizza. I'm not very impressed with the pizza or garlic bread with cheese. The amount of cheese was overloaded and I was lucky to get 3 pepperonis on each slice. The garlic bread with cheese was lacking. All of the cheese was on the bottom half of the loaf. There was no cheese or flavor on the top half of the loaf. The pizza sauce tasted more like spaghetti sauce. The crust was as flavorful as cardboard. I only gave it three stars, because the cheese is good. read more

Hadn't had a pizza from Angilo's in about 20 years, but I was hearing some good buzz about it, so thought I would give it another try, and I'm glad I did. I had a medium Super Special (9 toppings) and a steak hoagie. WOW--the pizza was loaded with toppings--about 1" thick. It would easily feed 2 people, and it was terrific. When the lady handed it to me, she said "Here's your masterpiece." and to be honest, it was.The steak hoagie was one of the best I've had in this area. The counter people were very friendly and accommodating. There are a couple of tables if you want to dine in, but it seems like mostly a carry-out place. My job has ordered from Angilos and it's always decent. We recently moved within walking distance, ordered and it was good! 1 week later family came over and I hyped Angilos so we ordered. After hectically looking for a place to eat on the way to Factory 52 (I really need to read the website to know that you can just get it delivered next time) we stopped by a bustling Anglio's. I got the buffalo wing and fries deal of the week along with the spicy cheese bites. Service was great and the food was even better. I remember hearing back in the day Angilo's was pretty good. I wanted something different than my usuals so I gave it a go. After taking a look at pics, I knew immediately to order light cheese (for my tastes). The wings appeared to have two flavors, buffalo (I assumed) and plain. While I enjoyed the inferno (buffalo) wings, they were wayyyy spicier than anticipated. Lol. All in all, would order again just not at the top of my list. read more

On a recent cold and windy day I felt like I needed some comfort food and most places around me didn't offer a small slice of lasagna, oddly enough they did. I called it in and they had it ready to go very quickly and at a great price. I added a meatball hoping that it would be enough to make the small slice into a meal, and when I got home I... Could barely find the meatball amongst the cheese and the goopiness in the container. Don't get me wrong this was straight indulgent comfort food, it was not anywhere close to a great slice of lasagna from the best Italian restaurants, it was a slice of lasagna like Mom used to make with a half a pound of cheese in there and layers of chewy pasta. I ordered takeout and was met by the friendliest group of people working when I went in! I was greeted right away and after chatting a bit while they got my order together I could tell they were a genuine group, definitely a pleasant experience given such a lack of good service at so many restaurants these days. Got two pizzas to takeout. Ordered and within 20 minutes - Presto, we have two piping hot pizzas! One was Pepperoni and the other was covered in meats. With lots of pizza places around, Angilos rates above average but certainly not near the upper echelon. I like smaller restaurant operations and Angilos fits that bill. But the pizza is made with average ingredients and as a result you get a pizza that doesn't blow you away. I'll probably go back. They're good, just not one of the best. read more

Awesome pizza/hoagie shop. Every time I go into Angilos I feel welcome. I bring my dog along and he gets treats from everyone in the take out area. Pizza is good, the hoagies are some of the best in the area. If you've never had one from Angilos, the Ham Delight is a must have. Great service and food. read more

Staff is very friendly, this place seemed family-owned. Unfortunately, this was not my favorite pizza. While it was SUPER cheesy which I love, the crust was like biting into a big hunk of cardboard. Not even worth one star! Normally this is a favorite spot of the family .. HOWEVER that quickly changed tonight due to a Saturday night employee/'cook' A family member faithful to your restaurant came into town to see his family , for first time in long time, for the holidays. His order was missing ingredients and he nicely called on his speaker phone to tell them the issue, in hopes of replacing . The cook actually came to phone and argued it was correct (even though it was far from right, from how we ordered) and then proceeded to cuss my family member out while whole family and kids are hearing him! The guy is home for a very short time for the holidays and was trying to treat everyone to a holiday meal and then is cussed out, belittled and talked to WAY out of line in front of family and children. Then cook proceeded to say call the manager and hung up on him! The event was truly appalling, embarrassing, unprofessional and WAY WAY out of line!! Something needs to be done!! I used to visit my grandparents house every summer In cape may New Jersey and my dad used to send me over to this little mom and pop pizza joint around the corner to get a few sandwiches, this place brought back that nostalgia for me , tasted almost exactly the same as that place in Jersey , a refreshing and nostalgic surprise for me , burger was perfect , fries were good and got some potato wedges with cheese which were very good as well , will definitely be coming back for more ! read more

This was my first time ordering from Angilo's and I LOVED it! I ordered a create your own pizza and it was super cheesy and tasty. I am usually a pizza + ranch person but I did not dip...as much! The pizza was pretty great on its own. I also ordered onion rings. Also delicious. Pretty heavy on the batter so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't go for it. But I loved it! They were crispy and they don't skimp on the size of the onion rings. However, if you are ordering for 4+ people, I might order two servings at least (this is not a negative thing. Just a tip). Delivery was crazy fast! They told me it would take 45 minutes and they came in 15-20. That was a welcome surprise and everything was still hot when it arrived. The ONLY downside (and it's not even that big) was that I didn't enjoy the crust very much. Just a little dry for me. I am a resident of Oakley and attempted to order from this location. The first time, I was told they do not deliver to my location despite being a 4 minute drive away. Upon telling them my address I was immediately hung up on. I called back and clarified my address, and they said of course they deliver to that address. I told them that I apologize, but am no longer interested in their services due to their extremely rude manner and was once again hung up on. The service and manners of this location was appalling and I would not recommend this to anyone. I cannot comment on the quality of the food, but would never revisit this location. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I called in a pick up order at 8:55 pm. The man on the phone was extremely blah. No hi no thank you etc. whatever no big deal I was still extremely pleasant ( trying to kill him with kindness). They said to come in 15-20 minutes. I came in 20 minutes and waited 15 minutes INSIDE the store at the register for someone to acknowledge me. Finally someone say " what name are you waiting on"? I replied my name very politely and then one guy say there's no "name" order and the other guy looks at him and says ya I took the order over the phone it's over there . Then the first guys replies again and just says nope there's not. Then no one says a word to me and they just keep going on about their business. Then 15 minutes later I'm like soooooo has my order even began to be made because I've now waited 40 minutes and just drove here......... the guy just looks at me and says no. That's it. I love this place. They've been in Norwood slinging pizzas and hoagies my entire life. I love the smell of the fryers when I drive by, almost has that fair/festival aroma. We often get the steak hoagie delight, but refer to it as "Hog" for short. One of those and an order of deep fried mushrooms and you can tell your cardiologist just how delicious it was! read more

A great local restaurant, with fantastic food! You have to try the inferno chicken wings! I would not recommend the fried mushroom caps or mushrooms on the pizza. Specificaly this location the pizza taste better than other Angelos pizza spots like better than Goshen or Beechmont locations from my taste buds.
