1/2 BRONX BOMBER 1/2 SOCRATES' REVENGE In front for mom and I to share & my niece has cheese pizza with red sauce & sausage for herself!

My first "go to " , every time I land in Cincinnati! I love how fresh the ingredients are on their pizza, and that their pizza dough does not make me feel too full and bloated! Their salads are super fresh and big enough, so we always share the house salad. Service is great and ambience is clean and open. * I have noticed that when ever we eat at the harpers point location their pizza tastes even better and has more toppings than the Kenwood location, so it's almost worth the drive further to Harpers point, just to get the tastier pizza! Either location, though, you cant go wrong! It's the freshest pizza I've ever had!

Always good pizza when we stop in a Dewey's. We were at Kenwood Towne Centre and stopped for some dinner before heading home. My daughter and I decided on salads and splitting a pizza. The salads at Dewey's are delicious! One of my favorite salads. My daughter had Ryan's Inferno on her half and I had Socrate's Revenge on my half. My daughter chose the House salad and I chose the Walnut Grape salad. Everything was delicious. And the service was pretty good too.

    We shared the harvest salad!

Came in on a Sunday evening around dinner time and had a short wait. Once we were seated we were taken care of very quickly. We got the harvest salad and did a small create your own pizza. Perfect amount for 2 people to split! And it was delicious. My gf and I are both gluten free (allergy) and our server was great about checking with the kitchen to make sure everything was safe for us. It was busy, but not too loud considering there were multiple large groups. Our corner booth was perfect for a lovely spontaneous date night.

Stopped in today for lunch with my BFF after taking care of a couple things across the street at the mall. We walked in and got seated. Our waiter took great care of us. We ordered the house salad entree and an 11 inch Edgar Allen Poe. We forgot to photo the pizza let me just just say it was super yummy. I highly recommend Dewey's pizza. Service is always great, food is amazing. What more can you ask for. Well I know I can't wait for opening baseball week to get a ball park pizza.

Dewey's has great food, there's never a doubt about that. The pizza toppings are large and plentiful, the cheese is high quality, and the dough is fresh and made throughout the day (you can actually watch into the kitchen to see them make it). What really blew me away about this Kenwood location was the staff. I placed my order over the phone for pickup. When I arrived, the manager came out and told me the pizza was too dark on the bottom for her liking, so they would be remaking it. I didn't mind waiting at all, but she still offered me a drink while I waited, and also told me the order would be on the house. I was blown away and impressed by the courtesy. It didn't take long at all the bring the final pizzas out, and she even gave me the darker pizzas as well for free, saying they would have just been thrown out anyway. If you want not only good food but also incredible service, come here!

I dont think I have ever eaten inside this location, but have utilized it for take out when in the area. On this day I got an email saying that for rewards members, the special Tito Santana Pizza (basically taco pizza) was available a day early!! I was so excited I quickly placed an order by phone! The girl on the phone was super friendly and helpful! I arrived at the time promised for my food. There are a ton of marked parking spaces for curbside pickup. I parked in one of them, called the number on the sign, and my food was brought out promptly! Everything was delicious from my favorite salad, the House, to the Tito Santana pizza. If you get a chance to try the taco pizza for the limited time they have it, usually in May, its a must. The flavor is great, there is a nice crunch to the "taco" topping, and it is finished off with fresh lettuce and a sauce that I recommend you ask for extra of!

    House Salad

Food was amazing. The House Salad is one of the best salads I have ever had. Truly believe it's the best pizza in Cincinnati. Staff was exceptionally fast, my drink was never empty!

I LOVE this place…read more They may single-handedly have the best margaritas in town. Tasty and strong -- just how I like them. Every time I go, the drinks are consistent and well-balanced, and they don't skimp. I usually pop in for a quick happy hour with friends or former coworkers, and it's perfect for that. So far I've had the deviled eggs and the potato latkes, and both were really good -- great little bites to pair with a margarita. The vibes are super cute, cozy, and welcoming. I cannot wait until the weather warms up so I can sit out on the patio -- it's going to be such a whole mood. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Pro tip: if you get there around 4:30-5:00 PM, you typically won't have much of a wait. If you're in Blue Ash and want strong margaritas, cute vibes, and easy happy hour energy -- this is your spot.

Our server brought all three food dishes out at the same time, which we could not even fit on the small table without taking off some things to put on the bench next to me. The soup was tasty, but mostly large cubes of bread with practically no cheese at all. The Croque Madame had no discernible cheese on it at all. The worst part: we each requested a coffee refill (one was never offered), and our server poured half of my friend's topped up coffee directly from her cup into my cup! I was so shocked that I was speechless. To top off this incredible faux pas, she split the check into two without asking, and I was treating my friend. Instead of bringing a new check as I requested, she had me sign her tablet that just showed the total, with no breakout, had me fill in her tip, and then walked away with neither asking me if I wanted a receipt, which of course I did, nor providing me with one. The coffee thing was so gross and unsanitary that I never shall return.

    1. Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chop This plate came out looking…read moreserious. The pork chops had that golden, crunchy sear that lets you know the chef didn't cheat the pan. The crust is seasoned well, giving each bite a savory crunch before you hit the juicy center. The sauce on the bottom adds flavor but also runs a little thin, so it doesn't cling as much as you'd expect. The mashed potatoes are smooth, and those crispy fried onions on top add the right texture. Solid, comforting, and flavorful -- just needed a thicker reduction to tighten the plate. 2. Gnocchi with Braised Short Rib Sauce This dish is exactly what comfort food wants to be when it grows up. The gnocchi is soft, pillowy, and coated in a rich, slow-simmered sauce that tastes like somebody took their time building layers. You get a blend of tomato, parmesan, herbs, and that short rib flavor that carries the whole bowl. It's heavy -- in a good way -- and every bite feels like fall weather in a bowl. Definitely one of the stronger dishes. 3. Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Green Beans & Tomato Relish The chicken is fried to that perfect "crisp but not greasy" level. The parmesan crust gives it a nutty, salty pop, while the tomato pieces add freshness to cut through the richness. The shredded parmesan on top melts just enough to tie everything together. The green beans are cooked right -- not soggy, still with a snap. The side dish (mac & cheese, most likely) is creamy with a buttery breadcrumb top that adds the right crunch. Overall, a well-balanced plate. 4. Spaghetti & Meatballs This is classic Italian comfort done the Cooper's Hawk way. The sauce is thick, tangy, and bright with tomato flavor. The meatballs are tender and seasoned well, and the touch of ricotta on top softens the acidity and makes the sauce creamy as you mix it in. The pasta is cooked right -- not mushy, not stiff, easy to twirl. Simple, hearty, and dependable. Overall Impression Cooper's Hawk came through with a table full of comfort and richness. Everything was plated well, seasoned properly, and cooked with intention. The standout dishes are the gnocchi and the parmesan-crusted chicken, but nothing on the table missed the mark.

We tried the Grilled Mahi sandwich ($17.99) and the Soup & Sandwich combo ($19.99). A glass of wine was $11 and a soft drink was $4.99. $70 with tax and tip. The term "upscale" seems to have become a euphemism for "more expensive than you thought it was going to be". I rated it 3 stars for several reasons. First, the food tasted very salty, almost to the point of us sending it back but we didn't because we had been waiting almost 30 minutes and were hungry. The slow service was reason two. Reason three was the price point. Five bucks for a coke? Twenty bucks for a soup and sandwich? The food was OK but the value just wasn't there. And reason four was the noise level. It was so loud I couldn't take an incoming cell phone call. Having said all that, they didn't seem to be hurting for business on a Friday afternoon so all I can say is it seems there are a lot of people out there who really like the place. If you're one of them, I think you'll find this Coopers Hawk a great place for lunch or dinner.

However, this wasn't one of my favorite cheese bars in town. The cheeses were good but nothing special and the food pairings on the cheese board didn't seem to go that well with what was given. We paid $20 for a 4 cheese board which came with a few marcona almonds, green olives, Sweety Drop peppers, and bread with a mustard spread and fig Jam. We aren't allowed to pick the cheeses but rather they pick for you. I felt for the hard cheeses we had, we needed better food pairings and I was expecting more spreadable cheeses for the bread. They do have a crumbly cheese that has mustard seeds in it which was unique and delicious. I wish they had made some cheeses in house that could taste more fresh and would be unique to that place. They were also understaffed for a Saturday evening as there was a long line to place your order and the cheese board took really long to finally come out. We didn't have anyone check back in with us anytime after our board came out to see if we needed anything more like water, bread, had questions, etc... it could have been just that night, but we just didn't get the same attention we do in some other places like this. I've gone to Urban Stead and felt the quality of the cheeses were better and their boards are cheaper for what you get in terms of amount of cheese. We had enough from the one board with 5 cheeses to fill us up. They also interacted a ton more while we were there and the cheeses are so fresh since they make them all in-house. I'm glad I tried this place out as I've always passed by and wanted to try it out. It's located in Pleasant Ridge which is central for the Cincinnati area and it is around the corner from Nine Giants brewing. You are able to get it by the glass or if you don't feel like wine, they do sell craft beers in the fridge. You can pick your cheese if you like. There were two that caught our eye that we had to request the four alarm cheddar cheese (jalapeño, chipotle, habanero and ghost peppers) and Dragon's breath but it's soft blue cheese with spices and hints of mustard. They do not make the cheese in house. Their cheese are imported from all over the world. Very great selection in my opinion. With your cheese tray, you do get bread, olives and nuts and preserves. When we receive our tray, we were truly impressed! Cheese, bread, meats were fresh and presentable. They went well with our wine. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Besides our great experience, they do offer specials. Happy hour on Friday's, Wednesday's are flight and bites, Thursday's are sandwich nights. They also cater! I was thrilled to get to tag along ... except for one thing. I'm pregnant, which makes trips to wineries considerably less fun. So it was such a great surprise when the winery hostess at Meier told me they make juices and do juice tastings as well. At least I could participate in my own way. My grandfather, aunts and mom got two tastings each, which were $1 each. I smelled some of the wines they got (can't stop me from living vicariously through my nose, right?), and the tawny port and the spiced wine, which is served warm, smelled delectable. Meier specializes in sweet wines, much like other midwest wineries. For my sparkling juices, I got the Cold Duck (with a name like that, how could I not?!?) and Spumante. The Cold Duck is made with concord grapes, and the Spumante is made from Muscat grapes. Both were great, but like the description for the Spumante states, it is "practically identical to the alcoholic alternative." If you want to feel like you're drinking without, ya know, "drinking," this one is for you. I wish I would have grabbed a bottle when I was there. (And if you do decide to buy some bottles of juice or wine making supplies from their shop, be sure to check in via Yelp and use the $5 off $10+ purchase.) The interior of Meier is pretty dated, but again, it's the oldest winery in Ohio. It reminded me of my late great aunt's basement. There is a great outdoor area, though, and the shop is large and right next to the tasting room. If you want to eat while you're there, it is BYOF (bring your own food). You can buy cheese-and-cracker or chips-and-salsa plates or get some food delivered. If you like sweet wines with perhaps a bit of history, definitely give Meier's a try.

Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!!
