This restaurant is a good choice! We got the trout and it was delicious. The watermelon mule was also great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sitting outside was very nice, and you can make a lap around the pond afterwards to work off your meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A good spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful property, rustic feel, amazing view[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], great service, and fantastic food! It wasn't too busy on Father's Day for a 6:00pm reservation. However, it was beginning to get very busy when we were leaving. I've never tasted a prime rib better than Devil's Pool. We will be back!

Had the breakfast buffet. They had a chef to make eggs and omelets. That was very good. They were also carving ham. Coffee and juice were included. Otherwise standard breakfast items, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, bread, fruit, oatmeal. Steep price for what you get.

Devils Pool Sundae - choc Chip cookie, brownie and Oreos. Huge

Well, it's tough bc this was right by our hotel room and thus, easy to access, but the value for quality is lacking. One night - our baby needed to go down so we ordered pick-up to go and my husband walked over to get it. We got a chicken Cobb salad and a kids cheeseburger with fries and they were both ready before promised and delicious (my Cobb didn't have the blue cheese but did have the extra tomato I asked for so, 50/50). The next night, we came in specifically for the Devil's Pool Sundae which is a decadent brookie brownie cookie with Oreos and ice cream and whipped cream and fudge. I suspect this is supposed to be served warm and it wasn't even remotely warm - super disappointing. We didn't have time to complain bc after waiting 15 minutes with our baby we couldn't wait longer before going to put her to bed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's easy and above the pool and I like the Buzzard Bar below plus the menu has some yummy items so it's a solid 3.5 stars bc lacking in attention to details and prices aren't cheap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Kid's macaroni and cheese meal

It was over 2 hours to wait upstairs so we went down stairs to eat which is the same menu. The kids Mac and cheese was bland but understandable so. The appetizer was spinach artichoke dip, it was pretty bland and had a different taste to it can't really describe it. The house salad was probably my favorite only wish goat cheese was all over salad and not in one spot. The dressing was delicious and fun to try. The salmon was delicious but underneath it, whatever it was, not good at all and made my mouth itchy! Great option while staying on property

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful atmosphere and great food and drinks with fast and friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The natural beauty of the area is amazing and the restaurant is located in the middle of it all![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Omelet - Ham, Bacon, American and Pepper jack cheeses, served with hash browns

TLDR: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stunning lodge vibe, attentive service, killer omelet & eggs, but hash browns were overcooked and under-seasoned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Worth a visit. My wife and I were in Branson for an early week getaway chasing fall colors and ducked into Devil's Pool for breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place looks like a millionaire's hunting cabin, dark wood, stone hearth, killer views of the lake. Ambiance is a big win.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and proactive: butter, jam, ketchup, and hot sauces hit the table before we even asked. I built my own omelet (bacon, ham, American, pepper jack) and it was textbook--meats folded into the eggs for even flavor, fluffy, perfectly cooked. Came with a big pile of hash browns that, sadly, missed the mark: overcooked to the point of hard crisp and lacking any real seasoning. A little salt and a lighter hand on the griddle would've made them sing. My wife's Missourian was mostly a win: eggs over-easy nailed, bacon crisp, sausage bold. Her hash browns suffered the same fate, overly crunchy bland and slightly burnt on the edges. The toasted English muffin was a nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Devil's Pool has the bones of a five-star breakfast spot, gorgeous setting, thoughtful service, strong mains.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If they dial in the hash browns, it's a slam dunk. As is, it's very good but not quite flawless. Still recommend, just temper expectations on the potatoes.

During my many trips to Branson, Missouri, [[HIGHLIGHT]]Devil's Pool Restaurant in Ridgedale is one of my favorite stops because of the view from its windows, the welcoming dining room, the fireplace, the professional service, and of course, the delicious menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a place to enjoy any occasion or simply to relax. My only request is that they bring back the Smoked Prime Rib to the menu. Before Iet you go, Robert, is a great person and an absolute professional.

The hostess at the front was the highlight of our dinner. She was truly very sweet and really trying hard to greet people with a smile. The rest of the experience was just...okay. The cheddar biscuits were fantastic. But the rest of the food was sadly very disappointing. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was so overdressed that there was a pool of salad dressing plus liquid (maybe water from them washing the lettuce) on the plate. I couldn't finish it. The fried ravioli were very basic. I got the Prime Rib and it was grilled which was odd. It was so tough and dry that I couldn't chew it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We didn't have a view of the lake from where we were seated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was so excited about this restaurant but for $200 and very lackluster food, we wouldn't go back sadly. The wait staff was kind though, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing view![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is good and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the scenic view is stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service on this night was very slow, albeit friendly. I couldn't believe it took an hour to bring my dinner salad. I was told there was a large group, however, the restaurant wasn't full. It felt like an excuse. The server was very nice and offered to prepare a hit tea to go. I accepted not realizing that she was going to charge me as I thought it was a gesture of good will for the unbearable wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anyway, the view is lovely and the food was good but just know that the service can be slow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I recently returned a year after the first visit, and it hasn't changed a bit. The menu is extensive insofar as classic American fare is concerned, but this isn't the kind of place you'll find 4 clever variations on Eggs Benedict. Anything named after Benedict Arnold has no place in the Ozarks. A year ago, I ordered a western omelet, which commanded my attention and exertions for the better part of 20 minutes. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week. Biscuits were country-good, and the gravy was substantial, not that watery stuff that is sometimes drizzled on Pillsbury-from-the-tube biscuits. If you're in Branson, head a little south of the dam to Hungry Hunter. Get there early, because this place is deservedly popular and there will probably be a wait. And the parking can be a bit contentious. It's not open on Monday or Tuesday.

There was something off-putting about the CFS. I didn't care for the coating or the gravy. I'd give it a 2/5. My stepmom gave it a 4/5. Her tastebuds are broken. My dad enjoyed his omelette and said the veggies were lightly sautéed and not greasy. The service was good. The wait was not worth the taste of the CFS, but honestly, 0 minutes of waiting is not worth the CFS. I typically love CFS, but in this case, I wish I had tried the French toast instead. When making our 8:00 PM reservation in the Atrium, we were required to pay a $500 deposit. We arrived on time but were not seated until nearly 9:00 PM. One of the main reasons we reserved the Atrium was to enjoy the sunset views, but because our table was not ready, we completely missed the sunset. Once seated, the service remained very slow, and our food arrived only lukewarm. For a restaurant with Osage's reputation and pricing, we expected much better execution and attention to timing. The bright spot of the evening was our server, Christian. He was cheerful, professional, and thorough in explaining the menu and answering our questions. His positive attitude helped make the best of a disappointing situation. Overall, I would not recommend reserving the Atrium if your dining experience depends on being seated at your reservation time.
