The customer service here is always amazing. I am a regular here and their servers have always been courteous and friendly. The food has also always been relatively decent. The thing that annoys me is that they have a huge sign that says they have free WiFi, however, the owner has refused to have the WiFi operating for well over two years. Being so close to the freeway, I am sure some passers by choose to stop here so they can connect to the internet while they eat, but no luck here. read more

We went to this Denny's on Saturday, July 14, their AC was a little messed up and they had warned us on the front door as you walked in they also let us know it was a 35 minute wait for food once ordered and we still waited. Their job is so stressful and hard and everyone from the line cooks to the hostess was in great spirits and working as a TEAM!!! Our orders were correct when served and they made it look like a breeze! The owner should recognize all the tremendous work every single person put in that day and all the days they work and I believe these people should get a raise!! I came here on Christmas night, hoping for a little appetizer to finish off the holiday right. You can't go wrong with a little sampler. Anyways, I walk in and was seated immediately. The table I was seated at had no utensils at the table. The person who took the drinks, took around 15 minutes to even get to the table. I ordered a coffee and it had to be the oldest coffee I have ever tasted so I kindly substituted it for a mere glass of coke. Like I said, I only ordered a sampler(as a half) which is mozzerella sticks, onion rings and chicken strips. Once I got my food, the mozzerella sticks were way overcooked, the onion rings were decent but the chicken strips were under cooked. Like, I'm talking still frozen in the middle. I was highly disgusted and paid the tab and left. I wouldn't recommend this particular Denny's. read more

I came here for brunch one day and was sat promptly. I ordered a Grand Slam with extra crispy hash browns. When my food came out my hash browns looked like they were a part of a horror movie. They were burnt, black and just looked thrown on the plate. My waitress was pretty upset about it and got me some new hash browns pretty quickly. The staff was very friendly but the cooks aren't on there "A" game. Other then that, this place was alright. read more

Usually come here & have a pleasant time. I got unlimited pancakes (as I do frequently) and when I decided I couldn't finish the pancakes at the restaurant I politely asked for a to-go box in which I was denied one. The manager, Collin stated restrictions applied and that I couldn't take the pancakes (already at my table) to go. Strange - considering I've been offered to-go boxes in the past... at this same establishment, under the same circumstances. I understand company polices & procedures but in this case the judgment the manager made to rather have us waste food over just giving me a box for what was going to be paid for, reflected very poorly. I would recommend some recourse training for handling complex situations like the one described above. read more

yes.... Denny's.... what red blooded American hasn't had the joy of the Grand Slam? If you find one, please drag them to a Denny's at once!!! Ok... Enough about that and let's talk about this one restaurant... highlights include: amply parking, typical menu, same well known and worn decor, consistent good quality.... lowlights include: front door faces street without any reasonable regard to where any off the ample parking is located, waitresses that seem to be a bit overloaded and can't seem to actually stop at the table for any reason, when they do stop to take your order they stand behind you even thought you are in a both with the end open. Now just plain weird... I'd you are paying with a credit card, you have to write your tip and total on the slip ° before° you hand it and your card to the cashier... If this is a "chip" thing, then fine, but since I do not use a card with a chip, this is just weird! This Denny's location is really the best thing about it... Everything else seems just to be the same corporate blandness of any other Denny's ANYWHERE! read more

Attention omg i just had the best customer service ever here me and my children. We got mr. Ben 10 as our waiter. He was so calm kool and understanding my son is a difficult eater and normally waiters get impatient with this. Ben 10 was so understanding. Our food came out so right. It wasnt thrown together or cold. It was just right. He didnt rush us or just throw the bill at us his timeing was right. Came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 11:30/12. Half the tables in the restaurant were empty but five parties were waiting on the benches at the front of the restaurant. Stood at the counter waiting to find out how long the wait was for about 5 minutes. People kept looking at us and walking past. Then someone finally came, asked how many, told us it would be a 15 minute wait. I asked if we could sit at the breakfast bar and they said sure. Walked over, sat down, my boyfriend sat down and the chair at the breakfast bar was broken to the point where someone could have easily fallen out and hurt themselves. So disappointing. Came in for lunch yesterday. It wasn't busy so I sat at the counter. I watched every server in the place pass me at least twice before someone said they would be right with me. I continued to wait until an older gentleman sat beside me and a server started waiting on him when he informed them that I was there first. I placed my order and waited and watched. I watched servers handle money, bus dirty dishes off tables, and make to-go salads. All with their bare hands. All of them walking past a hand washing sink. No one ever touched that sink or the hand sanitizer. I looked back to the kitchen. No gloves on either. Ewwww! Food finally comes (after they try to give it to the older gentleman again and he informs the server it's my meal) and I start to eat. Hash browns were so burnt it hurt to bite them. Pancakes were great, till I found what I hope was beard hair in them. At that point I asked for my check. I handed the server my debit card as she brought the bill, and she tells me I need to fill out the tip part first before she can run it. Wth? She stares a me down waiting for me to write the tip in, and then goes and runs my card. Smh I see why they weren't busy at noon. I will never go back there for any reason. Beyond foul. read more

The bacon was burnt. Please spare yourself the pain and go somewhere else! Even on my worst day as a server I was happier/better than this place. When we went the AC was broken but it wasn't crazy hot. The food was kind of cold but the servers were amazing! They made sure to stay on top of everything. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and the gravy was not that good. They also ran out of a ton of things on their menu. Upon entering the Denny's on Broadway you can't help but feel the surge of energy from the disgruntled staff and uncomfortable , unsatisfied customers. We started off ordering a round of menus that the staff neglected to provide, we definitely recommend making that your first order, it was very helpful. Our waitress Erica greeted us with a look in her eyes that says "I hate my life" and continued to impress us with no social interactions and an incredible amount of sass towards her fellow employees. You could tell almost instantly that the chemistry between all of the employees was simply electric. When ordering the zesty nachos, which were just as delicious as they were soggy, the waitress questioned us about actually getting them which made us believe that the cheese for the nachos was left out overnight. The taste didn't argue with that theory. The level of professionalism throughout the staff was sterling. With our waitress/es rotating like the back end of the Phillies bullpen in a losing effort and the easy mistake of forgetting silverware made it hard not to feel like home. When we finally got our food we were amazed by the mediocrity of it. Everyone felt special as their meals came out individually and cold or warm from the gourmet heat lamp. Our tastebuds exploded when we found our toast came pre-buttered and our burgers were dryer than the Arizona heat. Simply an unforgettable experience, in a word: lackluster. Overall this Denny's was fine. We were staying at the DoubleTree down the street and needed a late night bite to eat after dealing with a delayed flight and missed connection. Even though it was nearly midnight our server was attentive and nice. He seemed to be the only one working the dining area but it was a rainy Monday night, so they were not busy at all. He took our orders and brought out drinks quickly. Our food came out quickly as well. My waffle was fresh and crispy, and the eggs and bacon were decent. My man's Super Bird and fries were hot and fresh too. Of course it's not anything luxurious, because it's Denny's, but it was decent and satisfied us when we were hungry. read more
